Chapter 18 - Chapter XVIII

'Lady Boss was last seen boarding a private jet and the sure destination was back there ib Country P, President.' Sven reported to Rawlf Sy right away after an underling reported him the same information. He was a week now in Country R and was on a wild state of panicked because after he arrived and gathered their forces to track Vero-..... Future Lady Boss, she seemed to have just vanished like a smoke after she landed in Country R. The heavens didn't truly abandon them because after the hell week, they now have report and update of their Lady Boss going back to Country P. Lady Boss is a paradox. Sven thought. How could she just vanished like thin air after landing Country R?! His threaded thoughts was interrupted by their President's end call tone. Sven's sigh with relief. At least now, things are back to normal now that the Lady Boss is also back.

Rawlf Sy couldn't understand what to feel after hearing an update about Veronica going back to Country P. He had been restless and worried rather to be honest, scared that he might never see her again. He never learned. He lost her 5 years ago because after all, things were new and sudden for him and aside from that, after the news of his father involved in a political scandal that damaged their pristine reputation, he had been busy secretly working in the backhround to help her and her family. He, himself couldn't understand why he was doing that for her when he just met her the night before that from a club and had wild sex, he must admit, because things felt too perfect for him.

He thought that he could control her and the situation like how he could control the whole Country P politically and economically when she suddenly appeared back in the country few weeks ago after years of unexplained dissapearance ....which caused him to annhilate the Yan Family thinking they're also the reason behind it. But things got out of when a week ago, she suddenly left back to Country R and right after she landed, just vanished like a smoke and no matter how hard he tried to manuever his men to find her or at least track her down, his efforts fruit nothing. He was about to call for his Persian force but now that she once again appeared,this time, he was determined to do everything just to keep her around him. He no longer care if she might already have a husband or children because after all,many years had passed. Or if she's a member of the new underworld force he tasked Dmitri to play around with hoping she would come back and it proved right.

All he wanted was to possess. A confuse yet determined glint appeared on Rawlf Sy's eyes.

Veronica decided to stay at Country P's Bael Force HQ as she was tired of the flight despite of the comfort her private plane was supposed to give. She'll booked from another hotel tomorrow as she doesn't want what happened few weeks ago to happen once again. She just have to make sure that the hotel was strict of their customer's privacy and safety.

Reading through the report Zero had given her, she couldn't understand as to why this gigantic underground force seemed to have been taunting Bael Force but the consequence was a serious loss on their side. Her brain started working and now drafted what course of action must be done to stop this game. And maybe to prevent it from happening again.

'President, Lady Boss checked in at Diamanted Hotel.' Secretary Ryan reported. Sven was still on his flight back in Country P so the tasked to monitor their lady boss was temporarily assigned to him. Now that the lady boss was back, Secretary Ryan hopes that things at Sy International will return back to normal. Well things are normally uptight and cold but their lady boss's dissapearance is another level of hell Secretary Ryan could have ever imagined. Two of his assistants now had faintd because of the terror from their President and every heads of every department although still maintain their dignified facade, Secretary Ryan was sure that deep inside, they're on the verge of a break down. 'Maybe I'd suggest for a new department that would cater the employee's mental health.' Secretary noted in mind.

'How long was her alloted stay there?' Rawlf Sy asked.

'A week President.' ....oops another problem. Secretary Ryan thought.

Rawlf Sy was silent. One week. That means within that one week, he needs to manipulate a meeting with her like happenstance. An idea formed Rawlf Sy's mind as he looked at his Secretary.
