Chapter 136 - Accident matters of years ago.

Her maternal relatives, Katarina Cang was already approaching her telling her she could be of help with Rawlf Sy, however, Julie Tan ignored thinking she could get the man by her own beauty and capability.

But, seeing the man who she was so in love then entered another woman's room, much especially the woman she so hated the most made Julie Tan act impulsively, reported it to Katarina Cang and the woman said she will find a way about it.

Who would have thought that Katarina Cang is actually a very ruthless woman behind her gentle and gracious façade, but she's not one pot to call the kettle black because Julie Tan realized that she too, would be able to ignore and forget over her involvement with Veronica's accident, since, when the news broke out that the young lady of the Wang, Veronica, Julie Tan couldn't help but celebrate it much after knowing she was under comatose. "It won't be long and your life support would also be taken away from." Julie Tan murmured while sipping on her wine that time.

Before Katarina Cang's people arrived at the hospital to make sure of Veronica's death, the Wang already vacated the place and they couldn't find neither Veronica's body or of her father. They even thought that Rawlf has a hand of this but the next day, when Katarina's men saw Rawlf and his own men arrived at the hospital, they knew then that the man has nothing to do with the woman and her family's disappearance.

Veronica just entered a tea house, looked around and in a while, one of the teahouse staff approached her. "Miss Veronica, please follow me."

Veronica nodded and followed the staff to a secluded area. On one table at the corner, a young woman was already seated and Veronica assumed it as the young lady from the Tan.

"Miss Tan, Miss Veronica just arrived."

Hearing this, Julie Tan stood up and faced them with a sweet smile. "Senior!" She greeted, "I really appreciate that you came to meet me."

Veronica just nodded.

"May I have your order miss?" The staff asked politely.

"I have never been here before. Give me your best selling tea. Hot. That's all."

"Very well miss. Will serve it in a while." The staff bowed and leave them alone.

"Julie Tan?" Veronica asked the young woman in front.

"Yes Senior. I was your junior in college."

"Hmm, I apologized for not being able to recognized you. I hope you don't mind."

Julie Tan hid her tightly closed fist under the table, however her face is still clothed with an understanding smile. "No, no. It's no big deal senior. I knew that being a senior back then and also a student government officer in college was a very hard time for you. So an irrelevant junior from me of course won't really be remembered by you."

Veronica just smiled and nodded. Julie Tan could only raised her head at her in surprised. 'Just a smile and nod? She recognized it? That she only viewed me as just an irrelevant junior for her?! What an arrogant woman!" Julie Tan is furious deep inside.

Their conversation is only consisted of nonsensical things as Veronica shows no interest at all.

"Senior, I'm sorry if I bore you. Actually the reason why I asked for this meeting is to personally thank you from the matter of years ago."

Veronica glanced at the young woman.

"Well I don't know if you could remember but during the initiation rites when I was a first year, I acted rather arrogantly. You teaching me a lesson was something I'm really grateful of."

Veronica laughed quietly. "It's good to know that you didn't take it the wrong way. As long as you've learned from it, you don't need to show some gratefulness."

"That…. Even so, I would like you to know that I'm grateful for it." Julie Tan sound sincerely grateful.

"That's good. I don't know, last time there were three young ladies who also introduced their selves as my juniors. I also couldn't remember them but hopefully whoever they are, they would also take into consideration their actions before doing something, or else they would regret it. Don't you think so, junior?"
