Rain quickly came down on the ground after taking his first and final flight.
THUD
He performed the crash landing, but it's unclear if it was because of his first time or a result of his inexperience.
Most of the ribs in his body were broken, and blood was flowing like a small stream from his wounded body. He sustained severe injuries.
His white shirt was dyed red.
He couldn't even move a single part of his body. It wasn't a good sight to see.
Rain reflected after his landing.
'All I want to do is sleep.
Ahh. Goodness, gracious. This warmth is the finest.'
For a moment, Rain even forgot that he was injured. However, soon he felt pain in his whole body. He couldn't even turn his neck. So he just tried to see his surroundings by sifting eyeballs.
'Oh, I appear to be bleeding heavily.'
There wasn't a single speck of worry in Rain's mind. Although it was painful, at the same time it was an opportunity to take precious rest from everything.
'So, based on this, I guess I might pass away shortly. Will I die at this young age?'
'I should have enjoyed my life more. Took proper rest and shouldn't have overworked myself every time. Will I get a second chance? Maybe at that time I will try to enjoy my life and won't do any tiring work. Still, I will get rest now.'
Even on his deathbed, Rain was treating the street like a sleeping bed.
At this moment, the road made of Asphalt was more soothing for him than a bed of cotton.
He wasn't bothered by the fact that he was dying nor he cared where the truck went after hitting him. Strangely, he found his to be death a liberation from his monotonous life.
There was a small blood pool near Rain's body. His body looked like it was crashed and broken like an object.
'There's a chance that a miracle may occur and I'll come back to life with a bang.' Rain thought. He soon started thinking about different scenarios like,
'I may be an heir of some secret ancient family, so some shadow-type group will come and save me by giving me an elixir,
or my past life's memories will suddenly come back to me,
or a miracle doctor will treat me, then I will be cured by him.'
Rain was making fantasies while dying but soon he just chuckled.
'Nah, just kidding. Nothing like this will happen.'
As Rain was thinking all this, his body was getting colder per second. Soon, Rain's consciousness started leaving his body. The dazzling world which was filled with colours started losing its color. There was only darkness there.
'Ah, it's all dark. Seems like I passed away, huh. I'm free to rest now. Let's put my mind to rest and sleep. Maybe my next life will be filled with more colours.' And like that, he closed his eyes.

...
"Ah.."
In a room, a boy around 19 years old was sleeping soundly. It looked like he was taking a rest after working hard.
He rustled on the bed. It looked like he already took a rest and might wake up soon.
He raised his torso and sat on the bed. He was still yawning. He rubbed his eyes and opened them gradually.
Rain slowly opened his eyes, trying to make sense of his surroundings. As his vision cleared, he realized he was in an unfamiliar room. The room was modest in size, but it was clean and neat. The walls were painted in a warm beige color and some tasteful decorations were hanging on them. The marble floor was covered with a soft, cream-colored carpet.
The headboard was made of dark wood and had intricate carvings that added to the room's elegance. The bed was positioned against the wall, and a large window above it allowed natural light to flood the room.
Rain looked around and saw that the room was furnished. There was a wooden wardrobe in one corner, a small writing desk in another, and a comfortable armchair near the window. A framed painting hung on the wall opposite the bed, depicting a serene landscape.
'Oh, where am I?'
Rain didn't think that he was in the hospital as he remembered that he died after getting hit by the truck and his current location also didn't match any kind of hospital room or ward.
As Rain sat up, he noticed the luxurious bed he had been lying in. It was covered with silky, white sheets and fluffy pillows. It was one of the finest quality. Although Rain quickly wanted to take sweet sleep on it, there were countless questions in his mind, and getting answers of them was necessary at this moment.
'Is it true that I passed away?' Rain thought this because he remembered that he died after getting hit by the truck.
Like how can he forget that thing? It was his first and last time when he died.
'So this is the so-called afterlife, then?'
Rain was pretty much confused. Because it was different from what he heard.
When he was on earth some people claimed that a demon from hell would hold you accountable for all of your misdeeds after you pass away.
Or you must cross the Styx River,
Or you must consume some aunt's soup.
But when Rain saw his surrounding space, he didn't find anything of this.
It was room.
A simple but luxurious room.
The space was lavish and extremely huge.
There were numerous pricey decorations and works of art. It was well organized. Everything was neat and clean. You can't find even a speck of dust. Rain was kinda shocked as he never saw this kind of sight. He started pondering where he is and soon he concluded that this place might be heaven.
Pretty fast, right? Rain didn't waste much time in thinking. He didn't want to make any delusions of another world or something.
'Gods must be quite affluent, huh?
Let's meet some angels and say hello to the Gods as well.'
Rain was quite happy with this scenario. After all, he can rest all the time in heaven. No work, only happiness.
At that moment, his stomach grumbled.
GROWL
Rain stroked his belly. He sighed in relief that no one was there to see this embarrassing moment.
'So let's head to the canteen first. I'm really hungry. It should be tastier than those seven-star places, in my opinion. Even though I have never gone there.'
Then Rain attempted to stand up from the bed but was unsuccessful. His legs couldn't endure his weight and he fell on his bed. He tried again but the result was the same.
'Ah, I can't stand up. Why?'
Rain felt really bad.
After some tries, Rain failed to stand up. Rain didn't know the reason behind it but he guessed that it might be related to his death or something.
'There ought to be a guide close by,' he reasoned.
However, after observing the surroundings, Rain couldn't find anyone.
'Where is my guide?
It's interesting how poorly Heaven manages its work.
First, let's give a call to staff members.'
Just when Rain was thinking of calling, he remembered something.
'Oh, I'm talking about angels.' Rain corrected himself.
'Umm? let me recall the names of the angels.'
Like that, he started searching for the names of angels in his memories. After some time, he remembered some names of the angels like Ariel, Gabriel, Uriel, Michael, etc...
Then Rain attempted to speak.
However, once more, he was unable to accomplish that.
'Ah, Why am I unable to speak? Let's check if there's a call button to call them.'
However, Rain was unable to locate that.
'There should be a mirror near here.
I'm interested in finding out if the accident left my face scarred or if these careless folks simply fixed it.'
Rain then turned to look for a mirror then saw an attractive man. Just when Rain was thinking that what was it. Sudden drowsiness struck him, his vision started blurring.
'This is so annoying.' Rain clicked his tongue and frowned.
'I will see what this is and if this place is really heaven or not.'
He wasn't much bothered, because he thought for people of heaven, a human like him might be worth only this. Still, Rain felt somewhat bad.
He was also getting sleepy, So he didn't bother much and thought he will rest for some time...
Like that, Rain fell asleep again.
...
...
...
...
...
After a while, Rain finally woke up.
He opened his eyes, and slowly he tried to move his legs. Fortunately, this time he was able to move. He was happy about this. After all, even if he wanted to rest but living without moving looked boring to him.
He got out of bed. He opened his mouth.
"Ah..."
'I can speak and move now.' Rain felt relieved.
Rain thought that It was time to investigate that place. There were many doubts.
Like is this really heaven?
Who is that man?
What is the reason behind all of this?
Then he started to approach that man. Rain's eyes were filled with determination.

But Rain saw that 'that' man was also coming towards him. His every action looked the same as Rain. These events bewildered Rain.
'Wait, something is strange. It has a mirror-like appearance.'
He noticed that everything was quite familiar like he heard these things somewhere.
''No, no, that can't be!"
Rain soon understood his situation.
"Looks like I genuinely got transmigrated."
