Chapter 49 Mermaid's Story & Climbing

Name:Villain Is on Vacation Author:
[When the change in the world came.

Afterward, many races came. Among them were mermaids. They did negotiations with mankind and got permission to live on the earth.

After that, many mermaid scouts started to search for a suitable living place.

During the scouting, One of the mermaid scouts came here to the island and she liked this place very much.

But this island was very small, so her proposal for choosing this place for living was rejected.

But she still liked this island and everything here. So as her last wish, she wanted her grave to be here.

And in mermaid tradition on the grave, they keep their stone. But over time, her descendants forgot this place. So that place is not clean. So you didn't get to read her name.]

The story sounded like a cartoon for children. Still, Rain was relieved after hearing it.

"So what's her name?" Rain was curious about it.

[Luna Amber.]

''The story was quite long. Now I know why you said no.3 choice. But why you didn't tell me?'' Rain curiously asked.

[You didn't ask Host.]

"I know you just wanted points right? Capitalist." Rain just scoffed.

Then, suddenly he felt like he heard that name of mermaid scout somewhere.

'Amber is a good surname. It means river.

But wait Luna Amber ... Something is familiar here…

Luna Amber... Amber...'

And soon he remembered it.

"What the hell…" Rain felt that he had gotten enough surprises but this was one of the biggest and most surprising he got.

"That alchemist heroine 'Eva Amber' also has the same surname. So they might be related and that's why she had Amber surname?" Rain felt like he found something great.

"So she is a descendant of those fishes? That's why she was so annoying to deal with in the game. She also has good compatibility with water magic. Everything was in the bloodline. Really, it's like someone filled a blank line." Rain felt a jolt in his mind.

"World is really filling the plot holes, huh." He mumbled. He looked into the sky, trying to pierce through it and see the world's essence.

Rain was tired after this whole fiasco so he came down to his room and slept on his comfy bed.

After taking a short nap, Rain woke up again.

He felt refreshed.

After cursing the system silently, He got hang of himself.

He didn't want to curse though. As he knew the cursing system won't get him anywhere. It will only bring trouble to him.

This incident was kinda scary and a wake-up call for Rain that this is a fantasy world and he has to become strong. Otherwise, someone will soon crush him under their palms. He even spent so much money in a single day.

His all hunted material, the herbs, and other things he collected, 1000 gold coins were gone. He also spent 2700 gold in past to buy three skills. He felt if things keep going like this, he will soon run out of money and resources.

After changing into his casual attire and making the necessary preparations, Rain set out to continue exploring the island.

Since he had recently acquired the skill of climbing (Parkour), he contemplated trying it out in a new location, hoping to uncover something valuable.

With a sense of excitement, Rain continued his journey through the island, taking note of his surroundings and remaining alert for any potential discoveries.

'Maybe that forger heroine's ancestors lived here in the forest? And I will see their remains. Just kidding.'

As Rain embarked on his exploration of the island, he took the opportunity to gather herbs while also hunting monsters.

As he progressed further, he eventually found himself at the base of a towering mountain.

Gazing up at the height of the peak, Rain was struck by its sheer magnitude.

The mountain stood tall and imposing, dominating the landscape with its rugged and jagged peaks that pierced the sky.

Its sides were covered in thick forests of evergreen trees that clung to the steep incline, creating a lush and verdant backdrop against the rocky terrain.

The lower slopes of the mountain were dotted with boulders and scree, while the higher elevations were blanketed in snow and ice, giving the mountain an otherworldly beauty.

The sheer size and grandeur of the mountain were awe-inspiring, and Rain couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence and respect for this natural wonder.

"Wow, this mountain is incredibly tall!" he remarked, impressed by the daunting sight before him.

Without hesitation, he began to scale the mountain, carefully navigating each treacherous step as he ascended higher and higher.

Despite the difficulty of the climb, Rain remained focused and determined, eager to see what secrets awaited him at the top of the mountain.

''Oh, looks like I am an adventurer. It reminds me of a certain show where a man starts his survival in the forest. He sleeps in the forest after building his tent.

He eats insects and sometimes hunts." Rain felt nostalgia as he remembered his previous life.

"Wow, my hidden adventurer is rising.''

As Rain ascended the mountain, he made some interesting discoveries along the way.

As he hiked up the rocky terrain, he stumbled upon some unusual herbs that he quickly collected, knowing they would be useful for alchemy or for trading in exchange for some pts.

Suddenly, as he reached a steep cliff, he was amazed to see some enormous nests perched on the edge.

Rain was in awe of their massive size, realizing that they must belong to some kind of powerful bird monster, possibly a D or C rank.

However, he didn't want to risk his life in a battle he might not win, especially if the monster was a flying one. So, with a heavy heart, he decided to move on from there.

Eventually, Rain made his way down from the mountain, feeling a bit disheartened that he couldn't reach the summit.

Despite this, he remained determined to continue his exploration and discover new things on the island.

"Looks like there might be some powerful monsters on this island. There might even be A-class monsters." Rain assumed.

He recognized that he was only exploring the outer perimeter of the island and understood that there was much more to uncover.

With this realization, he made a conscious decision to proceed with his exploration slowly and carefully, instead of rushing and risking his safety.

After a fruitful day of gathering herbs and spotting bird nests, Rain returned to his home.

As he felt sweaty and tired from his adventure, he took a refreshing shower to wash off the dirt and cool down.

He then felt hungry and decided to cook himself a meal, utilizing some of the ingredients he had gathered earlier in the day.
