Chapter 340 She Will Only Look At Me!

Villain Ch 340. She Will Only Look At Me!

The event was over. The result was clear: it was a complete victory for the villains. That was a high level event yet they couldn't do anything. But rather than being frustrated or disappointed, the players looked excited. They immediately went hunting to find the items used to tame the lamias. Shining necklace. It came from the high level monster, Mad Dog, in Black Castle. So most players would go to that place first before going to the Pyramid to try and catch the lamias.

Despite the players' excitement, Mac and the others found themselves sitting in a dimly lit tavern in Debaris City, surrounded by an atmosphere of awkwardness. Yora wore a disappointed and annoyed expression.

In the previous event, Yora had hoped that her team would focus on defeating the devil emperor and earning the highest score. She knew that it might be a long shot, but she believed that their dedication and teamwork would impress Allen. She saw the event as an opportunity to prove her team's worth.

However, things had not gone according to plan. Despite her best efforts to keep her team focused, the players' attention had been completely derailed by the comical scenes involving the lamias. It seemed that no amount of warning or encouragement could prevent the male players from being distracted by the sight of the lamias' alluring figures.

Still… This was ridiculous since Yora knew that they liked her, yet some monsters' boobs could divert their attention completely!

As the awkward silence lingered in the tavern, Mac broke the ice. "I didn't expect that at all," he admitted, shaking his head with a mixture of amusement and disbelief. "And I have to admit, it's a great way to break our attention," he added, trying to find some humor in the situation.

"I agree with that," Gil chimed in with a nervous chuckle.

Greg responded with his trademark arrogance, "Well, I still have my concentration. You guys are pathetic." His words were meant to convey confidence, but there was a hint of defensiveness in his tone.

Player_Eater couldn't resist teasing Greg. "I caught you staring at Lamia's boobs twice, Liam. So shut your mouth," he said, grinning mischievously.

"Guys... Should we also go to Black Castle?" INeedAHotGF suggested, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. His mind was filled with thoughts of catching a lamia and making it his pet, an ambition that brought a mischievous glint to his eyes.

Black Castle was a dangerous and treacherous place, known for its formidable monsters and challenging quests. It was a location that required a well-coordinated and skilled group to navigate successfully.

However, his excitement was met with flat stares from the rest of the group.

INeedAHotGF cringed under the weight of the collective gaze fixed upon him. He had expected his idea to be met with more enthusiasm, or at least some playful banter. However, the seriousness of his teammates' expressions made him feel a tad embarrassed.

"Well, I was just giving an idea," he said, trying to defend himself. He could feel his cheeks warming with a blush, a reaction that he hoped his virtual avatar would not betray.

"The emperor will summon them again in the next event, so I hope all of you can concentrate better," Yora said, her voice tinged with a touch of frustration. She knew that they were all capable of great feats, but the distraction caused by the lamias had hindered their progress.

Greg grinned and assured, "Don't worry. I will concentrate better next time." He made it clear that the lamias had merely caught him off guard, and he was determined to be more focused in the future.I think you should take a look at

However, Yora's attention shifted to Mac, who had been relatively quiet throughout the conversation.

"How about you, Mac?" Yora asked, her gaze penetrating as she looked into his eyes.

Greg, feeling displeased that Yora was paying more attention to Mac, held his tongue, deciding not to interject.

Mac took a moment to collect his thoughts before responding. He had been excited about the previous event. However, their unexpected allure had thrown him off balance, and he had not performed as well as he had hoped.

"I will try to concentrate better," Mac replied, his voice more subdued than usual. Mac tried to be more neutral like Henry's suggestion.

But that flat response made Yora unhappy. However, she had chosen to mask her true feelings, deciding to play it cool and not express her emotions directly.

"Good. I have some work to do. So, I will be off for now," Yora said, her tone neutral as she tried to calm herself down. She glanced briefly at Mac, her eyes softening for a moment before she turned to leave. Before logging out, she couldn't resist reminding him, "Just remember, do your best. This is also for the guild."

Mac nodded.

As Yora's avatar disappeared from the tavern, Greg seized the opportunity to taunt Mac. "She values you, yet you only give her a flat response," he sneered, a sly grin creeping across his face. Greg's remark was laced with bitterness and envy.

"Tell me, what response does she expect from me?" Mac asked Greg, trying to mask the uncertainty in his voice. He knew Greg all too well, and he suspected that Greg was just trying to mock him, adding to his already overwhelming emotions.

"I don't know. But I'm grateful for your response, for sure," Greg replied with a smug smile, enjoying the opportunity to rile up his friend. He got up from his seat and leaned in closer to Mac, his voice lowering to a whisper. "With this, I hope she will only look at me," he added, a hint of determination in his eyes.

Greg's words stung Mac like a slap to the face. His jealousy flared up. It was no secret that Greg had feelings for Yora, and it seemed like he was willing to do whatever it took to win her over, even if it meant competing with his own friend.

Greg distanced himself from the table and put on a smile again, trying to mask the smug satisfaction that had been evident in his eyes moments ago. "I will also be off now. Bye," he said, his avatar disappearing from the virtual tavern.

Mac didn't say anything as he watched Greg's avatar vanish. He was left with his thoughts, grappling with the whirlwind of emotions that had been stirred up in the wake of Greg's relentless pursuit and the fact that he would lose her to Greg one day if he didn't make a move.

'It seems I will go back to square one…' Mac thought.
