Chapter 415 A Warning For My Nemesis

Villain Ch 415. A Warning For My Nemesis

"Can you explain it to me?" asked Larissa.

Allen leaned forward, his expression thoughtful as he began to share his insights on the situation. "This is only my guess," he started, "I have a feeling that Sophia might be trying to blackmail Liam and Darren after what happened between them. I'm not sure, but it seems like something she'd do."

Larissa listened intently, her eyes fixed on Allen as he continued. "I remember a time when Sophia tried to pull something similar with me," he confessed, his tone tinged with a hint of bitterness. "Our relationship had turned cold, and she wanted something from me. She almost succeeded too."

He paused for a moment, reflecting on the past. "I tried to salvage our relationship at one point," Allen admitted, a sense of vulnerability in his voice. "I even entered that tournament two years ago because I intended to give her everything she wanted. But fate had other plans."

Allen's gaze shifted, his eyes distant as he recalled that period of his life. "I was heartbroken when things ended, but looking back, I'm so grateful that it happened," he confessed. "It made me realize how toxic our relationship had become, and it taught me to be more discerning about who I let into my life."

He turned his gaze back to Larissa, his eyes filled with a sense of gratitude and self-assurance. "It took me a while, but I finally learned not to let blind love blur my judgment. For the past two years, I've kept my heart guarded. It's been liberating in a way, knowing that I won't let anyone take advantage of me like that again."

Larissa's shock was evident in her widened eyes as she absorbed Allen's revelations. "Oh my God... she is worse than I thought," she said, her voice tinged with disbelief.

Allen nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it was a tough situation, but I'm glad I managed to get out of it," he replied, a sense of relief evident in his tone. "And now, Sophia may be targeting me to try and get me back. She's done some pretty extreme things in the past."

Larissa's intuition kicked in, and she immediately connected the dots. "So, you think she might use Liam and Darren to rekindle your relationship with her?" she asked.

Allen didn't confirm or deny it, but he did offer a word of caution. "I can't say for sure, but it's a possibility," he admitted. "Which is why I think we should all be careful. I'll definitely inform the others about this, especially Gerry. They might try to target him too."

He leaned in slightly, his eyes serious as he met Larissa's gaze. "If it comes to it, we won't hesitate to involve the police," he added, his tone resolute.

Their conversation had taken a serious turn, and the weight of the situation hung in the air. Larissa felt a mixture of concern and determination as they discussed the potential threat that Sophia posed.

As their meal came to an end, Larissa headed back to the gym, ready to dive into her work and continue her daily routine. Allen, on the other hand, made his way back to his apartment.

Upon entering his room, he wasted no time. He immediately unlocked his phone, opened the chat app, and began typing out a warning message. He wanted to make sure that his friends, especially Gerry, were aware of the potential threat they faced.

Allen's fingers moved swiftly over the screen as he crafted the message, emphasizing the need for caution and vigilance. He couldn't shake the feeling that Sophia might target them, and he wanted everyone to be prepared.

In particular, he directed his concerns toward Vivian, knowing that she had clashed with Sophia on multiple occasions. Sophia knew where to find her, and Allen wanted to make sure Vivian was taking precautions for her safety.

After sending the warning message, Allen leaned back in his chair, a mix of anxiety and determination filling him. He had done his part in alerting his friends, and now all they could do was wait and be vigilant.

After sending the warning message to his friends, Allen turned his attention to his writing. The soft glow of his computer screen illuminated his room as he delved into his creative world. He had set a goal for himself to complete a couple of chapters today, and he was determined to meet it.

Time seemed to slip away as Allen immersed himself in his writing. After several hours of focused work, Allen finally reached his goal.

Allen, having completed his writing for the day, made his way to the hall in his apartment. He settled into his comfortable gaming chair and activated his VR headset, immersing himself in the virtual world.

He appeared in the Cursed Crypts' Hall. With a quick glance at his status, he noticed that only Bella and Alice were online, but their avatars stood idle. Allen tried to send them messages, but there was no response, confirming his assumption that they were AFK.

Determined to make the most of his gaming time, Allen decided to embark on his daily quest. It was a task he had grown accustomed to, one that required him to eliminate 10 players. However, as he had reached level 100, the quest now specified that the players had to be of a certain level range, between 70 and 90, and they had to be advanced or second-tier class players.

While he could have waited for this evening's big quest, which often provided opportunities to complete his task, Allen felt an urgent need to take matters into his own hands. There was something he had been wanting to do for a while, something that had been nagging at the back of his mind. He needed to talk to Elio and warn him about Sophia.

However, given Elio's deep-seated animosity towards Allen, he knew he couldn't approach him as himself. Instead, he decided to don his in-game persona, the Devil Emperor, Azazel, to communicate with Elio.
