Chapter 629: "I’m Not Getting Kidnapped Today" Vibe

Villain Ch 629. "I’m Not Getting Kidnapped Today" Vibe

The day had been a rollercoaster for Allen and Vivian – dodging danger, dealing with Mila’s kidnap shenanigans, meeting with Noah and James. Exhausted but alive, they decided to chill at this cozy café, soaking in the vibes.

So, to celebrate this "I’m not getting kidnapped today" vibe, Allen decided to treat all of them to a lunch fiesta. Brad and the other bodyguard dude joined the lunch. Sure, they were just following orders from Shea, but a little lunch break never hurt anyone.

The café was buzzing with good food and even better vibes. Allen was on a high, not just from saving the day but also because he felt like he owed Shea a big ol’ thank you. Not a business "thanks for the paycheck" kind of thing, but a personal one. Maybe even an explanation of what went down and a favor thrown in for good measure.

After stuffing themselves with delicious grub, Allen and Vivian bounced back to Allen’s new home– Goldborne’s mansion. The photoshoot finished earlier than Allen expected and Alex had helped him to tidy up his things. Not to mention, this evening they would have a war event in Gorroc City. So Allen decided to come back early.

The low hum of the engine echoed as Allen’s sleek motorcycle glided through the gates of Goldborne’s mansion. Vivian clung to him, her arms wrapped securely around his waist. The breeze played with strands of her hair as they approached the imposing entrance.

Allen’s eyes scanned the modern marvel that was now his home. The mansion stood tall and proud. The architecture screamed sophistication, with clean lines and expansive glass windows that reflected the evening sky. It was a place he never thought he’d find himself – a home that seemed plucked from a dream.

Allen rolled up to the entrance of Goldborne’s mansion and stopped, two butlers – straight out of a classic movie scene – popped up like they were waiting for him.

"Good afternoon, Young Master," they chimed in unison, and Allen had to fight the cringe threatening to swallow him whole.

Kai sensed Allen’s bewilderment because he added, "I’ll give you my phone number later. For now, I have to take you to your room. The others are waiting."

He led the way through the mansion’s grand halls. Allen followed him, but he couldn’t shake off the nagging confusion. The mention of "the others" lingered in his mind, and he couldn’t quite put his finger on who or what Kai was referring to. But he would put his bet on the girls.

Frowning in puzzlement, Allen turned to Vivian, who was striding confidently by his side. "It’s Shea and the others, right? Do you know anything about this?" Allen asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and slight concern. The mansion seemed too quiet for a gathering, and Allen wasn’t exactly prepared for some surprise party or unexpected guests.

Vivian shot him a mischievous smile, her eyes sparkling with secrets. "Oh, you’re in for a treat, Allen. Some things are better left unsaid," she teased, her response leaving a trail of intrigue in the air.

Allen raised an eyebrow, his confusion deepening. "What treat? And why are they here? Did I miss a memo or something?"

Vivian chuckled, her laughter echoing through the corridor. "Relax, Allen. It’s all part of the plan. Some surprises are meant to be revealed at the right time."

Allen raised one of his eyebrows, he was curious about what they were preparing, but he trusted the girls. His mind raced back to the peculiar conversation he’d had with James, Noah, and Mila earlier. He turned to Kai, the ever-efficient butler who seemed to be in the know about everything. "Do you know where Dad is?" Allen inquired, a sense of urgency in his voice.

He felt the need to share the encounter with the MagicSword’s reps with him.

Kai replied, "Mr. Jordan still has business to attend to, sir. He will be home late. You’ll see him tonight."

Allen nodded, a subtle disappointment tugging at the corners of his expression. He had hoped to share the day with his newly found family. However, the reality of Jordan’s busy schedule dampened those plans.
