Chapter 111 Chapter 33: ???

? Unknown Memory... Unknown Planet ?

The land was vast as a male with long white hair stood atop a towering black wall of magical stone that could absorb any damage below the divine level.

Stood on the wall was an angel with four wings, short with fuffy blonde hair—while she tried to hide it, her gaze always shifted to the male beside her—his black and red suit spoke of his elegance and charm.

A male vampire with a face that might even charm a goddess of lust and beauty herself.

"Sylvia, you look so cute today... Tell me, when will you find a husband?"

"Who could find a husband when my master is someone as handsome as you?"

"What is that lip service? If I am so handsome, why haven't you visited my bedchambers?"

The angel could only smile, her eyes flashing golden for but a moment as if she could see something or understand something that had yet to happen.

"I cannot, not with the you who exist with me now..."

"What's that supposed to me!?"

Obviously, the male didn't seem truly upset—he just brushed it off and knew his little angel was a strange one following and protecting him, even willingly becoming his servant to stay at his side.

"The Lucifer, for me, exists in a distant future..." Her words were spoken in angelic, so the vampire lord couldn't quite understand.

Suddenly, the scene changed as the same angel now had eight wings. Her body was still short, but her face was mature and filled with a more intellectual beauty as she was tinkering with a silver necklace with a ruby gem.

Behind her was another angel... one with a divine and warm beauty, also with eight wings and a small beauty spot below her eye.

"Sylvia, why do you insist on doing this... If you do that, your divinity will be stripped... you will become a fallen goddess—at worse, you could become a monster!"

The small angel didn't speak or complain, her hands constantly working on the necklace, her divine power constantly pouring into the amulet as if to make it into a holy weapon beyond even the grail or sword made by the lord herself.

"Alicia... You spent time as his lover, his wife. I have watched his birth, life and death for thousands of years with nothing..."

"Sylvia.... that's...."

"Alicia! I was the one—this life was supposed to be the one he married me, and finally... I could die as a human beside him! Old, ugly and frail!"

Finally, the small angel turned around, her power causing the entire room, the entire plane, to shudder as she looked at the beautiful angel who shared a similar face to her in tears, the agony and pain of her loss clear to see...

"I'm sorry... when I fell... he was there, I didn't know anything and fell in love with him!"

The two angels faced each other, sisters, comrades and both who have loved the same man for millennia.

"No... I understand, Alicia, but this was my only chance to become his wife, to escape this boring, endless life where I cannot do this, cannot do that and can only watch as he suffers, fails, and gets betrayed!"

"Can you imagine the frustration..."

"Of course! I have waited as long as you, yet my time will be the last! He will face the greatest calamity in his life and be forced to choose the world or me! How can I make him suffer that fate... I want him to be reborn in a safe place!"

"You know she will never allow that! He is her enemy, the one who killed her, kills her and rejects her!" Sylvia cried out... the necklace finally finished as her wings began to crumble... turning black as if infected... dirty...

"Alicia... go down, give this to him... and in the next life. You will be given the power to stop his horrible ending... as your big sister... Please make him happy."

Alicia watched in horror as the one existence that existed beside her from the moment she was born... through the pain and suffering and meeting their fated man, sharing the joys and jealousy of having the same fated partner...

"Big sister... They will destroy your soul..." Alicia's eyes began to fill with tears... as golden light flowed like raindrops in this small, isolated divine realm. n(-0Velb1n

"Silly girl... If my soul being destroyed means Lucifer can survive and live happily with you, why would I care if I am tortured or suffer?"

"I love you as my sister just as much as I love him as a man!"

"Now Go! Take It!"

****

The scene faded as the world seemed to have stopped... a turbid wind flowed through the battlefield despite the frozen world... dark light flowed from the sky like raindrops in this large world...

Lucfier's head hung low as his blood began to pour onto his left arm and down his chest... the imprint of the silver necklace and his grimoire shining like a beacon in this hellish landscape of silent darkness.

"I remember everything..." A soft voice followed by the sound of footsteps along the air, ethereal with her silver hair and red eyes...

Not a day aged from that memory, the lovely angel was now a dark and evil creature devoid of any holy power and feelings as she observed the battlefield before embracing the body of Lucifer in her small... pale arms.

"Lucifer... I told you to protect yourself; otherwise, I would kill you myself..." Sylvia's sad red eyes looked up as Lucifer stood still while she kissed him gently, his lips cold and lifeless.

"Lucifer... I won't forgive you... you were supposed to come and save me, not the other way around... you foolish man..." Sylvia's words

"Why didn't you listen... I? would have given you everything..."

Crack!

It seemed that with the goddess present, the time-lock would soon break, as the distant Serena looked on in shock, the advent of a demon goddess and one far beyond her power... Yet she only held Lucifer... as her power poured into him, while her divinity was being torn from her body once again...

"Haha... It's too soon, and now I am neither a goddess nor a demon goddess. Would you still accept me as a mere mortal or demon?"

Lucifer's eyes opened weakly... the feeling of Sylvia's power coursing through his body, causing his injuries to heal rapidly while his power was restored rapidly.

"Sylvia... Do you regret giving up your divinity and being stuck with me?" His cold lips touched her forehead while hugging her gently.

"After so many lifetimes of watching you suffer in my memories... I would rather be with you as a woman than a goddess..."

"So unfair... I cannot see but a fraction of blurry memories of you." Lucifer complained as the world's time began to move once more... The distant racoons and their arachne leader charged forward while the man Dalton stood like a ghost... unable to move.

"Shut up... damn loverboy."

Sylvia's eyes looked at Gwendolyn, who was in tears looking at her, mouthing the words big sister before she pierced a nearby soldier in the chest, forced to return to combat.

She then looked at the man now cowering, his sword melted with a mere gaze; as Dalton felt the pressure of a goddess bearing down upon him, his eyes began to bleed, skin filled with welts and hives before rashes and painful sores started to ooze and burst as Sylvia's mere angry gaze made his legs rot with necrosis....

"Ugh...Argh...Awa...!! he.... help!" Dalton could barely speak properly, his tongue turning to mush as his teeth crushed it into a bloody paste... fear... pure fear entered his heart as even the queen whom he adored became worthless.

Lucifer realised Sylvia's true nature... she was likely beyond Celestia in terms of power... but why had she never interfered and just watched from a distance?

"Sylvia... why..."

"Go, end this battle... We can speak when everyone is safe."

Lucifer nodded without speaking further—taking her small hand in his, he kissed it gently and walked past Dalton Hargreave with his eyes bleeding while Sylvia remained standing as her skin began to crack and beneath her was a murky swamp of her blood...

Only Celestia knew the situation, appearing beside the petite goddess, helping to seal her remaining divinity to stop her from being destroyed by the universal laws.

Marina's brutal legs were deadly and sharp, her body using the trees to move as her thread shot from her spinneret to grab knights as her eight red eyes focused—the strange racoons were the tribe members related to Lephalia who used blunt weapons to break the knight's bones before tearing into men like feral beasts.

Irina used her mace, while Layna used her long sword to block and cut apart any knights getting past Marina—Lucifer's heart settled after realising Sylvia saved him...

The moment they appeared, he felt something interfere with his body...

I was about to dodge when something stopped me... something beyond a demon, deva or hero.... it was like a giant hand held me in place... I couldn't move, breathe or speak—even the link to my grimoire and bloodline was cut! Is that my true enemy... the existence that can do that even when they are so far away?

Lucifer used his spear to slice apart a human knight, but the templar was already dead, her chest and throat torn by the man's mace...

The battle had become easier, but it was not yet over.
