—Star Tower. The dwelling of the Starsuper and the Willburn family. Location Unknown;
“Are you doubting me?!” Starsuper’s voice thundered throughout the room. “Me? The one who made you who you are?!”
EagleClaw couldn’t help but gulp down a mouthful of saliva as the pressure in the room increased.
But he can’t stay quiet! No, he has to speak his mind!
Clenching his fist and steeling his resolve, EagleClaw opened his mouth again.
“You know as well as I do Starsuper, my fiance was murdered and the killer is still out there while you are claiming that the Progenitor has returned!” He desperately kept his voice from cracking under the pressure as he spoke further.
“I didn’t say anything that day in the conference room because I respect you, and besides even if the Progenitor has returned, you can’t just expect me to stay just stay still and do nothing!” EagleClaw said in a slightly raised tone. “After all, my fiance was murdered!!”
However, as soon as he raised his voice a feeling of fear and regret hit him.
But before he could even speak his apologies, the pressure in the room increased tenfold.
At this point, it was hard for him to even breathe let alone speak.
“Kuuhu!” EagleClaw tried to gasp for air but in vain. His knees gave up and he collapsed down to the ground.
With shaky hands, he grabbed his bird mask and took it off, revealing the face that was hidden earlier.
The face that in any other situation would’ve been considered handsome, but right now it was only the face of a man being choked to death.
“Fo…Forgive m-me…” That’s all he managed to blurt out before darkness started enveloping his vision.
“Give me your words that you won’t investigate this matter of your fiance’s death any further,” Starsuper spoke. His voice was laced with fury and authority. “Or I could just kill you right here.”
He wasn’t bluffing. EagleClaw knew that if he were to deny his words then he really would be killed.
As generous and kind Starsuper is, there is not a single person more dangerous than him in the entire world after all.
“I-I give m-my words…”
As if waiting for that cue, the pressure surrounding EagleClaw dispersed.
-Gasp!
A loud gasp escaped his mouth soon after as he was able to breathe again.
Using his trembling hands as support, EagleClaw got himself up from the ground to get on his knees.
“Stand”
Only when Starsuper asked him to stand did he dare to do it.
“I’m sorry,” With his head down in shame, EagleClaw apologized properly.
“It’s okay. I know what you’re going through,” Starsuper said as he got up from his couch and walked up to EagleClaw to pat his shoulder.
“I’ve lost people I loved and cared for, to him too. However, you have to understand that there’s a difference between you and him. A difference as great as heaven and earth.” Starsuper turned around and walked up to his minibar.
He picked up a bottle of Barefoot Merlot wine and two wine glasses.
“If it’s truly the Progenitor then you can’t win against him with your ability,” Starsuper spoke bluntly without holding back while pouring the contents of the liquor bottle into the two glasses.
“So… You expect me to just give up on revenge?” EagleClaw spoke.
“Yes.”
The reply was short and blunt, but for some reason, it stabbed through his heart like a knife.
Will he never be able to avenge his fiance?
Is he that weak?
Thoughts like those flooded his mind. If he can’t even avenge his love then how is he supposed to become a hero for millions of people?
What’s his life purpose?
While he was still drowning in his own misery, Starsuper walked up to him with a glass full of red.
“Here,” He handed the glass of wine to him before continuing, “Yes, I want you to give up. You’re too weak as of now. Go back and don’t get in my way. I will avenge your fiance for you.”
Those words didn’t do anything but caused EagleClaw to inflict more self-loathing on himself.
“I-I see…”

“Aghhhh! The week is finally over!” Kiara voiced her exhaustion while throwing her exhausted body onto the sofa.
“At least change your clothes first.” Anthony couldn’t help but smile at the silver-haired girl.
“Nooo, I’m too tireeeed! That finishing move show was exhausting!”
“Sam, ask her to change her clothes.” Anthony went to the black-haired boy for help.
But it looks like Sam was busy in his own world of thoughts.
Seeing this, Anthony decided to shake him by the shoulder.
“Yeah!” Sam blurted out, clearly startled. “Yeah, what?”
“What’s going on with you?” Seeing her childhood friend in this state, Kiara asked in worry. “You’ve been daydreaming very often these days, did something happen?”
Sam looked at Kiara for a second before replying, “No, I’m okay. I should go back to my room.”
He lied. Every time he sees Kiara, all he could think about was that night. Her words still echo in his ears. He should just kill her but he was not allowed to do that by Rebekah.
Honestly, it was frustrating. Sam does whatever he wants, and for the first time in his life, he was not allowed to do something.
(Boy I can feel your frustration) The voice in his head spoke as soon as he entered his room.
“I must find his weakness, I can’t live with the current situation!” Sam slammed the door closed before voicing out his frustration. “It feels like I’m being choked! I’m a God! I can’t live on someone else’s mercy!”
(Hahahaha!)
Hearing the voice in his head laugh, Sam couldn’t help but frown.
“What’s so funny?! Answer!” He clamored in fury.
(Ohhh~ nothing, I just realized if you’re this frustrated now, what will happen from tomorrow?)
“What? What’s tomorrow?” Sam asked, his voice laced with confusion.
(Hmm~ you don’t remember? 1 week is over, which means other classes will be joining starting tomorrow)
“And? Why do I fucking care about that?”
(Your half-brother, he’s in Special Class)
“Ahh fuck!” Sam could only curse his memory.
In all the panic and anxiety this first week had caused him, he completely forgot that his half-brother would be joining him starting tomorrow.
“William Rightwill,” Sam unbuttoned his shirt and sat on the edge of his bed. “Fine, you shall entertain me in the meantime.”
