Waking up as Cinderella's Stepsister - Chapter 4.2

I looked at him with my eyebrows raised as his words continued without making sense.

“You said you were in the Royal Guard Corps. Isn't this abandoning your duty?"

I asked, thinking of the bodyguards in the TV standing tight with in-ears on. Then he shrugged his shoulders.

“I have more talented subordinates than you think.”

Then he asked to dance again. But I was not willing to respond. Because I've never done a dance like this before.

“I’m sorry, but I’m not good at dancing….”

“So it’s not a rejection.”

The man with his lips curled came closer to me. As I reflexively retreated, his hand wrapped around my shoulder blades. It was unfamiliar, but it was a soft and warm touch.

"Ah….”

The warmth that spread from his hand began to wrap around my body as if stretching a branch. When I raised my head, his smooth nose and softly arched lips caught my eye. And I could see the eyes that contained only me.

He blinked slowly at the same time as he sighed. Long, abundant eyelashes fluttered gracefully like a butterfly's wings.

I could feel his eyes moving to my red cheeks, awkwardly closed lips, and the naps of my neck.

Even though there was no direct contact, a shuddering shiver ran down my back.

I forgot to breathe and looked into his eyes, reminiscent of the blue sea. I could even feel myself falling into it without hesitation.

As he applied more force to the arms that were holding me, our bodies pressed closer together. It was almost as if his lips could touch me even with a slight movement. The breath of the man approaching my nose poured hotly over the bridge of my nose and lips.

Just facing the deadly pheromone emitted from his body was enough to take my breath away.

A warning siren went off in my head that if I didn't get out of here right away I might lose my mind. Still, on the other hand, I also felt the urge to kiss him like this.

I’m crazy, I’m crazy.
