Pom! Pom! Pom!
Now and then, the disciples would enter the Lava Pool, causing the magma to spatter from the Pool.
Most of the Outer Disciples were at the Empty God Realm, and some of them were Inner Palace Disciples who were at the True God Realm.
Su Mo did not rush into entering the Lava Pool. He simply stood by and observed for a while.
There were 18 levels in the Lava Cave and it became more dangerous as one went lower.
There were several Fire Spirits on each level.
The Fire Spirits were the Spiritual Beings formed by the Fire Based Power.
The Fire Spirits at every level were different. As long as one caught a Fire Spirit, he would be considered to have reached a certain level and would be rewarded accordingly.
“Those disciples who are getting into the Lava Cave are to come and register with me!”
At that instant, a voice shouted out.
Su Mo turned his head and saw a stone platform by the side of the cave. A middle-aged man was sitting behind the stone platform.
Su Mo walked over and registered his name as Duan Jingtian.
After he had done so, he went to the Lava Pool and flew down.
After Su Mo had left, a ray of light flashed at the entrance of the cave and Chu Yan appeared.
Chu Yan looked around and when he did not see Su Mo, he knew that Su Mo had already gone down into the Pool.
He had deliberately waited for Su Mo to be down before coming to the cave.
“Brother Chu Yan!”
“Brother Chu Yan!”
“Brother Chu Yan, why are you here?”
When the disciples saw Chu Yan, they immediately cupped their fists at him.
Chu Yan was an Inner Palace Genius. He had become a Rank 1 Advanced True God at the age of slightly over 100 years old.
On top of that, Chu Yan was a member of the Chus.
After eons, many top powers had formed their families in the Human Palace.
Although there was no distinct segregation among the families, it was present.
The Chus was well-known in Human Palace. The most powerful person in the Chus was an elder who was at the Supreme Being Realm.
Thus, when everyone saw Chu Yan, they treated him with respect.
“Has the youth in a green robe entered Lava Cave?”
Chu Yan nodded at everyone. He then walked to the side of the Laval Pool and asked.
“Yes. A youth in a green robe has gone down. His cultivation level seems to be at Rank 4 Empty God Realm!”
“He has just gone down.”
“Brother Chu Yan, is he your friend?”
When the disciples heard Chu Yan’s question, they asked him curiously.
“Yes, he’s my friend. Which of you would like to go down and take care of him?”
Chu Yan asked. He curled his lips into a derisive smile as he looked around.
Chu Yan ignored the deacon as he knew that the deacon would not interfere.
When the disciples saw the evil smile on Chu Yan’s face, they immediately knew what he meant.
Chu Yan wanted to teach the youth a lesson!
“Brother Chu Yan, who is he?” Someone asked. They would not offend anyone without knowing the background of the person.
“He’s just a nobody. He joined our Human Palace today!” Chu Yan said nonchalantly.
“I see. He has just joined us!”
“Since he is Brother Chu Yan’s friend, we will have to take care of him!”
“Brother Chu Yan, let me do it. I will definitely take good care of him!”
The disciples commented. Many of them volunteered to go down to take care of Su Mo.
“Wei Lun, you shall do it!”
Chu Yan instructed a skinny youth in a black shirt.
The youth in a black shirt was a Rank 4 Empty God.
Chu Yan knew that the youth had strong combat strength and the ordinary Rank 4 Empty Gods were no match for him.
“Alright!” Wei Lun nodded.
“Remember, don’t let him get any Fire Spirits and don’t kill him!” Chu Yan instructed Wei Lun. He was angry with Duan Jingtian but he had never thought of killing him.
“Understand!” Wei Lun nodded. In a flash, he dashed into the Lava Pool.
When the deacon who was in charge of the Lava Pool saw what had happened, he shook his head.
However, as long as no one was killed, he would not step in.
…
Purple magma was everywhere in the Lava Pool and it was hot.
This is not magma!
Su Mo said to himself after looking around. He covered himself with the Five Elements Dark Force as he was surrounded by the magma.
The Spiritual Liquid was formed by the Fire Based Power and they looked like magma. In actual fact, it was not magma.
Su Mo had thought of activating his devouring power but he gave up on the idea.
He did not want to activate his Devouring Primordial Spirit for small gains.
If he was discovered, he would get into serious trouble.
This should be the first level!
Su Mo said to himself and went on deeper.
“Eh?” At that instant, he noticed the magma on both sides surging and something flew toward him.
Roar! Roar!
Two ferocious beasts from both sides were pouncing on him.
The two demonic beasts were iguanas and they were purplish-red. They opened their large mouths and tried to swallow Su Mo.
Are these the demonic beasts that have been refined by the Fire Spirits?
In a flash, Su Mo escaped from the two demonic beasts and continued to head downward.
He did not want to deal with the demonic beasts as they were the Fire Spirits from level one.
After Su Mo had gone down another 3,300 meters, the magma changed to a red color and the temperature rose.
The Five Elements Dark Force outside Su Mo’s body sizzled at the high temperature.
This is level two!
Su Mo said to himself. However, the second level was not his ultimate.
If he had caught a Fire Spirit at the second level, he would only receive 10 Dawn Stones and that was too few for him.
He tried to move down further as he would obtain double the Dawn Stones after every level.
Suddenly, the magma above him surged and Su Mo thought that a demonic beast was attacking him.
Su Mo ignored the demonic beast and hastened his speed. However, the demonic beast was quick and it flew toward him.
Soon, the demonic beast came and blocked Su Mo’s path. When Su Mo had a good look at it, he realized that it was not a demonic beast but a youth in a black shirt.
“There is no need for you to go any further!” Wei Lun sneered as he looked at Su Mo.
“What do you mean?” Su Mo asked with a frown. He could tell that the youth had come with ill intent.
Su Mo became frustrated. Why are there so many ignorant people around!
“It is obvious. My hands are itching and I am going to vent my anger on you!” Wei Lun said mockingly. Although Su Mo had the same cultivation level as him, he was not concerned about it.
He had confidence in his own strength.
There were more than 10 people in the Outer Palace who were more powerful than him.
“Do I have a feud with you?” Su Mo asked coldly. He reckoned that Chu Yan must be the one behind it.
After all, other than Chu Yan, he did not have any conflicts with anyone in Human Palace.
Qin’er would not create trouble for him and Luo Yu would not get someone to deal with him.
“You don’t have a feud with me!”
Wei Lun sneered, “However, I don’t like you. I find you irritating!”
“Get lost!” Su Mo did not want to waste time on Wei Lun and he threw a punch.
Rumble!
When he punched, dazzling Five-colored Fist Ray pierced the magma and hit Wei Lun.
As Wei Lun was not far from Su Mo, the Five-colored Fist Ray went near Wei Lun instantly.
“What?” When Wei Lun saw the blow, he was shocked. The power of the punch inflicted fear in him.
At that instant, he realized that the person that Chu Yan wanted to punish was not an ordinary Rank 4 Empty God but a gifted genius.
“Break!”
Wu Lun shouted, and a saber appeared in his hand. As he moved back, he slashed hard at the Fist Ray.
Rumble!
There was an explosion when the saber hit the Fist Ray. Wei Lun’s body shook violently and he was thrown off.
Spatter!
The surrounding magma surged vigorously and Wei Lun was nowhere to be seen. Su Mo had no idea where Wei Lun had been thrown to.
“Is he dead?”
When Su Mo did not see Wei Lun, he muttered to himself. He had tried very hard to control his force.
After all, a Rank 4 Empty God was as weak as a fly to him.
Su Mo was not worried about whether he had killed Wei Lun as he had used little force on him.
At most, Wei Lun’s physical body would be destroyed but his Primordial Spirit would remain unscathed.
Su Mo then put away all thoughts and continued to move down. He wanted to find out how deep he could go.
