Chapter 124 - I beg you, don't push me away...

Before anyone could react, Feng Jianyu suddenly got up from his seat and rushed outside. Taking long steps he jogged towards the exit to reach Xiu Mei as soon as possible.

At this moment she is the only medicine who could calm down his frantic heart. He just wanted to hug her tight to make sure all this was not a dream and she is absolutely safe.

Before Wang Shi and Feng Junjie could follow Feng Jianyu, he has already boarded the chopper.

Both brothers glance at each other. "Xiu Mei," they said in unison.

Wang Shi ordered, "Junjie, call another chopper. We are going to Xiu Mei's villa too" Junjie complied.

As soon as Feng Jianyu disembarked from the chopper, he rushed inside and yelled for her, "Mei, Mei…." Calling her name he rushed to the back garden patio but she was not there.

Aunt Mary came out from the kitchen to answer, "Master, you will probably find Little Miss in her room.... An hour before I served her dinner there."

"Dinner in the room? So early? Is she fine?" he frowned and Aunt Mary replied politely, "Master, it's late evening! Little Miss had to do some work, so she asked me to bring her dinner in her room. But m..."

Feng Jianyu didn't hear her completely and strode towards her bedroom and unlocks the outer door by punching the password. Unlike the main door, her bedroom is accessible without any passwords.

He barged into her bedroom, calling for her, "Mei," His eyes scanned the entire room rapidly but she was nowhere to be found. Even though she is fine in her high-security villa, he still couldn't stop worrying until he saw her in person.

Unknown to him, Xiu Mei was leisurely sitting in the library with a mask sheet on her face, slices of cucumber on her eyes and a wireless headphone on her ears. She was hugging Orange in her arms, who was playing soothing piano music for her through his inbuilt software.

For the past few days, she would let Orange come out of the lab to give her company. He is the only source of light in her life that could curb the loneliness. Spending some cheerful moments in his company brightens up her mood. In addition, his cuteness is a bonus for Xiu Mei.

"Mei…" Feng Jianyu ran down the stairs calling for her continuously, but with the headset on her ears, she didn't realize his presence.

Feng Jianyu found her sitting on the couch in half lying position, with her headset on. Upon finding her safe and sound, made him teary-eyed. His heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest. So many bad thoughts had rushed chaotically in his mind when he was on the chopper. For a moment he felt as if she will disappear once again from his life.

Catching his breath he cautiously approached her to make sure this is not one his dreams, but a beautiful reality.

On reaching close to her he called her name softly, looking at her with overwhelming emotions "Mei…."

Because of the mask sheet, he could not see her face, but her presence was more than enough to settle down his heart. He gently extended his hand to remove the mask sheet from her face, making her jump from this sudden attack. But before she could understand anything, Feng Jianyu swept her into his arms; holding her tightly!

Xiu Mei "….."

He hugged her so tightly that Orange got squeezed in between them. Feeling the obstacle in between their hug, Feng Jianyu pulled out the robotic toy with his right hand and threw it on to the couch before pulling her back into his embrace.

Xiu Mei squealed, "Ahh! Orange"

"Shhhh…. I'll buy you a toy factory!" He consoled her and put extra strength into his hug as if wishing to coalesce her body into him, protect her from this evil world and cage her so that she remains in front of his eyes every time.

Xiu Mei "…."

'My poor Orange…. She tried to sneak a glance at him but due to Feng Jianyu's tight hug she could not'

"Ummm… Feng Jianyu, This…" this sudden intimate touch has caused chaos in her heart.

"Sorry Mei, I'm really sorry! Please, let me hug you. Just this once… for once tolerate my selfishness"
