124 Tears and smiles

I can't stop putting Lyla and Louiseine to bed. Mistral is back.

"Isn't it too soon?

Mistral stroked Niemia at me surprised by the speed.

"Niemia did her best."

"Nyah."

Just tired, Niemia flew over Priscia's head and immediately rested.

"Thank you. You did your best."

I stroke Niemia. [M]

"Well, I'm going to apply panacea to Lyla, so you need to get out of the room."

"What!?

I was surprised not to think. [M]

"Dear Ernea, Um... embarrassing."

Lila turns a bright red face and looks at me.

"Ahhh!

Is that what you mean? Lyla has burn-like wounds all over her body, and she has to be naked to apply a panacea.

My clothes are already swollen and my skin is peeling everywhere, but that doesn't mean it's good for me to see Lila naked like this.

I rushed out of the room. [M]

When I left the room, it was the living room of the person who offered me the place, and a few dragon people were there to ask me how it was going.

I gratefully thank the people I met. [M]

And I explained to those who had asked me what had happened west of Dragon Peak, and the demon swordsman with all his black armor.

It seems that the inhabitants of the village were worried about something because Princess Dragon King, who was meeting in the village, suddenly flew out of the village on Niemia's back.

Once calmed down after my explanation, the villagers said that they couldn't do this, they had to get ready for rescue, and they moved out in a hurry.

And when no one but me disappeared from the living room, Mistral came out of the room.

"How are Lila and Louiseine doing?

"Luiseine probably just used up his powers and fell asleep. I think I'll regain consciousness in a couple of days. Lila seems to have healed her wound and cut the thread of tension. I'm asleep now."

I was finally able to stroke my chest down to explain Mistral.

I'll leave the rest to you.

"Hmm?"

Unlike me, Mistral tries to leave the living room without taking a breath.

"I have to tell the Dragon Kings about this one."

"Right. You're right."

I was so full of heads about Lyla, I was losing it.

I have to tell the Dragon King who is still in the village about the black armored demon swordsman, or there may be another problem.

"I'm sorry about where you're tired. I'll get another flight later."

Say it, Mistral, get Niemia out of his chest.

"Uh-huh. I'm tired."

Niemia had her long dripping ears dripping further to give her a tired look, but she had not refused.

Just hang in there a little longer. and squeaks in my heart, nya, and rings weakly to reply.

When I dropped Mistral and Niemia off, I went back to the room where Lyla and Louiseine were sleeping.

... or... Mr. Mistral, what place did you put Neemia in?

Just for a moment, I envied Niemia.

It was the next day that Mistral returned. And Luiseine woke up the next day, and Lila woke up two days after that too.

But Lyla should have stayed in the village for a while at Luiseine's discretion.

While waiting for Lyla to recover, Mistral had made several trips to the western village to check the situation.

And what I found out.

First and foremost, young people and warriors in villages attacked by demons remain missing. There were signs of contention around the fountain other than ours, but no bodies were found.

The next official messenger from Louis Lara came to the village to show clear evidence that he had been vandalized of the territory he was talking about, and he took one of the eight great dragon kings, Wal.

You think Luilara's territory faces west of Dragon Peak and is a few days away from the village?

A day or so from the west than the fountain became a buffer zone between the Demons and the Dragons, and further west was the country ruled by the Demons.

We were close to the Demon Nation, weren't we?

Looks like Wall's return will take a few days. Until then, Mistral was finally able to calm down, saying that there seemed to be no progress.

And to Lyla, who shows her recovery well, Mistral scolded her.

Believing in your people. Making good decisions about the situation. That you don't do anything reckless. And self-sacrifice is a stupid thing to never do in the future.

Lyla, who was regaining her strength and starting to get better, had been seriously scolded by Mistral and was slowly falling apart.

Not a little too much scolding, I thought, Mistral said.

"Apart from being praiseworthy and reflective. No matter how great you do it, if you have a point of reflection, you have to reflect properly."

Apparently.

He gets angry and depressed in a harsh tone, but Lyla listened to Mistral's reprimand properly to the end, even if she wept in her eyes. But finally, when Mistral hugged him, "I'm glad you still didn't die," he was finally crying.

Luiseine and Priscia also weep about Lyla, who shouts out loud and cries like a young girl.

Mistral hugged Lyla all the while she kept crying and kept rubbing her back.

"Sorry......"

And after a lot of crying, Lyla starts to calm down a little bit, squeaking in Mistral's arms.

"Me, I've never had anything that anyone needed or cared about before, so I floated."

Lila wipes tears and looks over at us.

"I am thankful and full of hearts and minds for all of you who have worried about me like this and have saved my life once and twice"

Say it, Lyla, and she smiled just glowing.

But when we saw Lyla smile, we looked at each other and laughed.

"Hey, was something wrong?"

Lila looks at us laughing and puzzles her eyes black and white.

"Yep."

Laughs as Louiseine becomes a troubled look.

"Lila, your nose is dirty."

Priscia hands you a face wipe.

"Ha Ugh."

Lyla looked at me for a moment and rushed off her face.

It's bright red to the neck, Mr. Lyla.

Everyone burst out laughing again at Lyla wiping her snot in embarrassment.

The night Mistral's sermon was over and Lyla was getting better, so it was time to go back to the village of Mistral.

After dinner, we all went out of the rented house.

Unlike the village of Mistral, in this village where you eat dinner door-to-door, dinner is a little late.

When we went outside, the sun had already set and the darkness had surrounded the village.

But the sky is full of stars. The grain of light was spreading infinitely over our heads.

"Wow, the moon is beautiful"

Priscia, who looked up at the sky, stretches out her hands desperately to grab the moon.

It can't reach me, but the moon I see from the village in the middle of the mountains is closer than anywhere else, and if I reach out, I feel like it's really going to reach me.

"The moon represents the goddess among us."

Luiseine, who has a friendly hand with Priscia, talks about the moon and the stars.

"It's a beautiful starry sky, shall we walk a little"

Under Mistral's leadership, we took a walk through the village at night.

The village of Mistral is fast to bed, but many lights were still leaking from the houses of this village, which also consumes late dinner.

Sometimes we enjoy walking in greetings with different villagers.

"This village, unlike Mistral's, is full of stone houses."

That said, it's not crudely assembled, it's just a fine house, stacked with well processed rocks.

"You can pick fine ore around here. The rocks used in the house are a by-product of that."

Luiseine and Priscia are obsessed with stories about the sky. Me and Lyla walk around asking Mistral a lot about the village.

And sometime we realized that we had reached a relaxing spot on the edge of the village.

"It's dark down there. Scary."

Lyla climbed herself out of the rocky railings of the resting place and peered downstairs, hugging me as she trembled. And leave in a hurry and embarrassment.

"It's a steep slope down here, so if it falls, it won't help."

On Mistral's advice, I was trying to peek downstairs because I saw something scary, and I pulled my face back.

"I have no intention."

"Mmm, you said that"

Grab Niemia, who was lenient over my head, and stick her out at the end of the handrail.

"Uh-oh, scary."

Then they burst out and laughed at Niemia, scared.

"Neemia can fly, but are you scared"

"I can fly, but I'm scared if I can't see down there."

Uhm. I can't fly, I don't know the extent of Niemia's fear. But it's a punishment I said I had no intention of doing.

When I was teasing Niemia with mean thoughts about why, Priscia couldn't bully me, she went into arbitration.

Priscia puts her hands on her hips, imitates Mistral and scolds me.

To such cuteness I surrendered and put Neemia over Priscia's head.

"Nah."

Neemia felt relieved, buried in Priscia's fluffy hair and invited us to laugh again.

That's a great night.

I don't think we fought hard just a few days ago.

Priscia looks up at the starry sky looking fun in a restful place at night. Luiseine tells Priscia a lot of stories about the stars, and Mistral watches them gently.

"Oh, I'm really, really happy"

By my side, Lyla squeaks as she elbows on her handrail and looks out over the border between the mountains and the starry sky.

"I'm under the illusion that you're dreaming of happiness that I couldn't have imagined a while ago."

"Yeah. You look so happy to me, too, compared to you when I first met you."

Alongside Lyla, I stare beyond the darkness at night.

"But Lyla still looks like she's got the darkness, too. I wonder if we can wipe your darkness."

In order for Lyla to feel happy from the bottom of her heart, she must remove the darkness.

It's not about Lyla's past, and stepping up in the dark. But if we're one of them and family, we want to share happiness and suffering.

In my serious eyes, Lila leans down.

And signs of pleasure disappear from my eyes.

I wonder if the pain of the past is unimaginable to Lyla.

How can we share Lyla's suffering? and heartbreaking, Lila opened her mouth weakly.

"Just a little. I'll tell you a little fairy tale."

Suddenly a fairy tale? I thought, but I listened to Lyla's fairy tale in silence.
