I slipped the silver coin into my coin pouch before getting my Shadow Guards to release the magic that was holding up the wall around us.
The Dungeoneers who had been banging on the wall earlier were now scattered around the hall, most of them groaning in pain while holding their battered hands.
Yeah... These poor saps were punching and kicking away on the solid wall with their bare hands and feet to try and break Tyler free.
At least they returned to their senses when the half incubus had the end of a pole created from my Umbramancy stuffed into his ass.
He was screaming the entire time while I shoved the pole in and out of his ass, I think he actually started enjoying it at the end so I stopped and added some spikes to it. He then went back to screaming after that.
Right now, his face was pressed against the ground while his butt stuck up in the air, the pole still stuck in his ass.
I would just like to say that I used a featureless pole but when I stepped away, a flag materialised on it out of thin air.
On the flag was the face of Hiandoca doing a peace pose.
I'm not going to even comment on it.
I then directed Eins and the others to start healing the other Dungeoneers who have been freed of Tyler's influence and have returned to their senses.
Most of them only suffered broken wrists and feet so it wasn't really that serious. I was expecting maybe one or two to have tried ramming their heads against the wall or something but thankfully there wasn't any.
There were still a few others chained up to the pillars but I managed to get all of them down safely.
"Ow, ow, ow... What the hell did that bastard do to us?"
"Hold still now... You'll be fine in a moment," I assured the Dungeoneer I was healing, the cuts in his wrists closing up as my magic did its work.
"We got mind controlled, that's what," Another Dungeoneer spat, his voice filled with venom as he glared at the Incubus who still has that flag pole stuck in his ass.
"We should just kill him," One of the females growled, her hands clenched into fists and glaring daggers at Tyler.
That sentiment seemed to be shared by pretty much all the other Dungeoneers who were making the same face while glaring at Tyler.
Honestly, I didn't really care if they chose to kill him or not. All I care about is the fact that I have less than twenty four hours left in this Dungeon before I have to get out of here to meet Mary.
But yet I do not see any stairs that would lead me to the next floor appear or even a chest that might suggest I had already completed it.
No wait... Don't tell me this guy has to die for it to be counted as completed?
I stepped back after I finished healing the people in front of me, "So... What do you guys want to do to him? Are you guys actually going to kill him?"
All of them looked like they were just planning to do that when someone spoke up.
"Hey... Maybe we shouldn't just decide to kill him so quickly, don't you guys think so?"
Everyone turned to him, giving the person a look that demanded he explained himself.
The male Wrunch pointed his finger at Tyler, "It's because of him that we got stuck in that trap and we all heard him say that he wants to enslave us. Just killing him is too easy."
A female Mahun scowled, "So what? Are you asking us to lock him up or something?"
"I... I reject this deal!"
"Unfortunately, both parties need to consent before a deal can be rescinded and I do not consent. You already accepted it so you're going to need to answer this: Is there another way out of this room?"
He clamped his mouth shut but was forced to answer a second later, "N... No, you have to kill me to open the teleporter to send you back up to the surface. Noooooo!!"
I made a face at him, "That's kind of a shitty design... Why would you even make it like that?"
"Be... Ughhhh!! Because I never expected anyone to make it this far! Nooo!! Stop!!"
"Uh-huh... So what happens after I kill you?"
"I... Nggghhh!! I... I will... Arrghhhh!! I will come back to life again after a while... As long as no one else takes over as the master of this Dungeon... Fuck!!"
I gave the other Dungeoneers a look and I could see some of them giving me disappointed looks.
What his answer meant was unless someone came along with more mana than he does, he was effectively immortal. And seeing how most people wouldn't even be able to take over a Dungeon under normal circumstances, I doubt anyone here would believe they were able to do it.
I technically could... Since I definitely have enough Mana Crystals to override his control over this Dungeon... But I don't want to be the dungeon master of this dungeon in the first place.
But that brought another question.
"If you are going to respawn anyway, why are you so afraid of telling me how to clear this Dungeon?"
He clamped his hands over his mouth in an attempt to shut himself up but the compulsion was too strong for him to resist and he ended up spilling it anyway.
"If I die, all the trapped Dungeoneers will be released and the Dungeon will be reset! Also, I don't like dying!"
...
Oh... Ok... I see... So that's how he designed the Dungeon...
He already managed to gather so many victims to be placed inside his personal dungeon down here, so of course he wouldn't want to lose all that progress. It's like having your save file deleted after completing a game and having to start over again.
Oh well.
Too bad I don't have any qualms doing that to him though.

So I had Eins go ahead to stab him through the head with a sword.
Yay, I win~
What? You wanted me to torture him more?
Oh, I mean I could do that any time I want in the future right? I already completed this Dungeon so I can just come down here whenever I want to beat up this immortal guy who stupidly binded himself with the Dungeon whenever I want.
I think I'll come back after a few years when he has captured more people just to reset it all again.
Heh, heh, heh.
