Chapter 11 - Kill her

Ruhan was pacing in his office restlessly. He had been waiting for Lisa's text for 25days. Still that damn woman hadn't informed him about the time and location. She had gone into hibernation again. She hadn't contacted him even once after their meeting. As if the agreement between them was his mere imagination.

He wanted to call her many times but controlled himself. What if she thinks that he was too eager? In this kind of situation whoever shows interest first is always on the losing side.

He was really nervous now. What if she had already found another alternative? Wouldn't she cancel her agreement?

Thinking about this Ruhan cursed himself.

"Damn it! I shouldn't have left her in charge. I should have cooked the rice on that very day."

what's worse...he had been in abstinence for 25days.

TWENTY-FIVE DAYS!!!

In these days his friend called him several times and asked him to go on a double date. The girls were beautiful and fun. Most importantly quite easy and open minded. But he refused because he didn't want to get laid. What if he tired himself and any mishap happened when he was with Lisa? He didn't want to lose face in front of her.

Who knew that this damn woman would keep him hanging for 25days!

He was still in the middle of cursing her when Lisa called him.

Ruhan had already set a separate ringtone and message alert tone for her. So when the call came through he immediately recognised it and his already agitated heart became more excited.

"Hello", Ruhan tried to control his emotion and make his voice as indifferent as possible as if it didn't matter to him whether Lisa contacted him or not.

" I have already sent the papers. Make sure to sign it.

I'll text you the location after you sign", Lisa's voice was more indifferent than Ruhan.

"Why didn't you come up?" Ruhan frowned.

"Why should I? Do you meet every relative of the patients? " Lisa asked back.

Ruhan was very displeased.

Although he would never admit but after his meeting with Lisa, he had been dressing up extra meticulously thinking that she might call him anytime.

But this damn woman refused to meet him for this silly excuse. Was their relationship really that formal?

"Anyway, I will send the address after the surgery has started. Goodbye". Lisa hung up the phone abruptly.

Damn it! Ruhan cursed. He should teach this woman a good lesson today otherwise she would never put him in his eyes.

It was almost 7pm when the text came. Ruhan was looking at his reflection for 11th time to see if everything was perfect.

After Lisa's call he had his secretary bring a clean cloth from his home. The cloth looked good on him but it wouldn't seem that he deliberately dressed up.

He admired his reflection for one last time.

'Huh! If this damn girl has any conscience she will have to admit that I am hundred times better than his fiancee Miraz', Ruhan thought inwardly.

After opening the message Ruhan frowned. He thought Lisa would call him to a hotel but this address was situated in a remote area of the city. It would take a long time to reach there. And it was like a ghost place. Very few people lived there. And among the citizens most were lower middle class.

Why would they spend this special occasion in that place? Ruhan had never set foot in that area.

Of course if Ruhan had been a girl he would never risk to go there alone at night like this.

But he was a boy. Like other boys he had always been least cautious of isolated areas. So he followed Lisa's instructions and reached that area. As most of the people were lower middle class, the security in this area was not tight. Not to mention surveillence camera, even lamp post were also non existant.

Ruhan frowned. How could people live like this? Aren't they worried that any mishap may happen in this dark street? He would never let his children live in a place like this.

Of course it didn't occur to him that he was also exactly the kind of person that people needed to protect their children from.

When Ruhan saw the building, he cursed himself again.

His toilet was more luxurious than this.

What's worse...there was no lift. He had to use stairs to reach 4th floor. He was now 100% sure that Lisa was deliberately making things difficult for him. Otherwise why on earth would she choose this place?

Never mind... He would just pick Lisa up and take her to a place which he liked. Today he didn't want to fight her. Thinking about it he adjusted his mood and pressed the doorbell impatiently. It would take another 2hours to get out of this neighbourhood and reach a suitable place. He needed to hurry.

Lisa opened the door after a while. When Ruhan saw Lisa..at first he was taken aback. Then he became so angry that he couldn't even speak.

Normally Lisa was a neat and clean girl. She wasn't the most beautiful girl but she was attractive and her face expressed the fact that she was intelligent.

Everyone might not like her at first glance but they may start to like her after a period of time.

That is, of course, when Lisa doesn't decide to act like a stubborn pampered lady and deliberately piss off the other party.

But today her face looked haggard. Her dress had faded. In short, she looked like a real resident of this area.

Ruhan didn't expect that she would dress up for him. But he thought that she would at least make herself presentable. Afterall today was supposed to be important for her. Didn't she realise that after today her life as well as reputation would completely depend Rujan? What if he wasn't satisfied with her and he vented his frustration on her brother?

Or what if he revealed their relationship? Other would pat on his back and give him thumbs up but her reputation would be completely destroyed.

Didn't she consider these possibilities at all?

Her appearance proved that she really didn't care about him at all.

When Ruhan compared her to himself, it was like she was a servant and he was the master. How could he not be furious?

"You...you.." Ruhan pointed to her and roared, "You damn woman. Do you think this young master has a fetish for servant girls? Do you think I would touch you when you look like this? Did you even look at yourself in the mirror?"

Thinking about how much he dressed himself up and how much importance he had given to this event, he really felt insulted.

Listening to him, Lisa's eyes moistened. She started to sob.

"I was busy and tensed about my brother so didn't have any time to take care of myself. Do you really disdain me?"

Seeing her crying like this. Ruhan became even more irritated. Why was she crying for his silly statement? It's not like he had humiliated her for the first time.

"Look at yourself in the mirror, if you don't disdain youself then your brain have problems. Do you think you are Ms. Universe that you will look good without any makeup?"

He just wanted her to pay a little attention and dress up a bit. Is that really too much to ask?

Lisa started to cry more miserably. Ruhan also thought that he said too much. He was just about to comfort her...when Lisa threw herself at him and said,

"I am sorry. I will try to look better. Please don't abandon me."

Ruhan froze. This girl was really acting strange. He didn't mind her throwing herself at him, but her words made him confused.

'Abandon? How could she put it that way? She herself said that it was a contractual relationship ok?' he thought to himself.

Seeing him confused like this, suddenly Lisa's facial expression changed. She raised her eyebrow and gave him a mocking smile.

Ruhan immediately understood that Lisa was just acting pitiful. He became annoyed. He already waited for 25days. And this damn girl was still trying to procrastinate!

"Enough with your acting ", Ruhan rudely pushed her.

"Aaaah!", Lisa gave a loud cry and fell. Her head forcefully collided against the edge of the table.

Ruhan wad stunned. He didn't think she would lose her balance like this. He didn't use much force.

He was about to go and help her when an angry shout made him freeze on the spot.

" Stop it! What the hell are you doing? Are you trying to kill her?"
