Chapter 27 - The Stupid Girl

"The one who should speak is you. How could you suddenly change our plan and marry Ruhan? You didn't consider our past relationship! Don't you think you owe us some explanations? Why did you betray us like this?"

Siam's face became red as he started accusing Lisa.

Lisa was looking at him with ridicule. As if she was looking at a jumping clown. Obviously she didn't put Siam in her eyes. Past relationship? Seriously??? With this bunch of idiots???

Siam naturally noticed her ridicule and became furious. He knew this gaze. Lisa had ridiculed them like this dozens of times! He really hates her smugness as if she is better than everyone. He really hates her gut.

Similarly, Lisa also despised the brother and sister duo from the deepest core of her heart.

She still remembers the first time she met Siam....It was in the hospital months ago....when Siam's sister, Samia tried to commit suicide.

Samia was a typical example of a naive and stupid girl. She was well protected and pampered since her childhood. This naturally led her to believe that the whole world evolved around her. She thought she would be precious to everyone just like she was precious to her family.

She was never exposed to the ugliness of the world...not until she met Ruhan, the doom of her life.

Both of them were from same university. Immediately after she was admitted into the university, she came to know about a handsome, rich playboy whose name was Ruhan. He was 3 years senior to her. He was popular among his classmates and a renowned for his unrestrained behaviour.

Everyone knew that he changed his girlfriends like he changed his clothes. His promiscuous behaviour was also known to everyone. That's why clever girls always maintained their distance from Ruhan.

Then there were some stupid girls with serious brain damage. Who knew why they were always drawn to a**holes like Ruhan! Who knew who gave them the confidence that they could change the playboy into a loyal dog!!! They tend to believe 'the power of true love bullshit'.

With this blindness, they always fell for people like Ruhan and in return, got their heart broken and their lives ruined. These girls did not have anyone to blame except themselves.

Samia belonged to the later. Only Allah knows what she saw in Ruhan! Despite her friends warning her again and again, she went into a relationship with Ruhan and eventually did the deed with Ruhan. She ignored her family's teachings and crossed moral boundaries with Ruhan.

Samia had hoped that he would send marriage proposal to her family after being intimate with her. Though Ruhan never proposed to her or promised her anything, she still assumed that he would take responsibility after taking her virginity. With this belief she spent time with him. She loved him dearly and didn't have the heart to refuse him.

She really trusted him.

Naturally she had to face the consequence.

After spending couple of months with Ruhan passionately, she suddenly noticed changes in his behaviour.

He would often ignore her. Sometimes he would even ignore her calls for days with excuse of being busy in business.

This behaviour was sharp contrast to the attention and indulgence Ruhan showed her. Previously, he would always make time to call or meet her. Sometimes surprise her with gifts. But after getting what he wanted, he no longer had any interest of patience towards her.

She desperately wanted to trust him that he was busy with work. But how could she? She knew that he had assistant to do his jobs. She knew that he never concerned himself with office and business. So where did this workload come from? If it was another person, she might believe this excuse. But with his reputation, how could she be at ease? There was always traces of guilt and panic in her heart.

She also noticed that her friends started to look at her with pity. After her relationship with Ruhan, she became estranged with them so they didn't communicate like before.

She became angry with them and promised herself that she would definitely marry Ruhan and show them that true love can change a person. She WOULD change Ruhan for the better.

Perhaps she would continue to deceive herself if reality didn't slap her face hard.

After few weeks of ignoring and excuses, Samia saw Ruhan uploading a photo with his 'new girlfriend'.

Samia knew that he would attend reunion party that day. So she was stalking his Facebook id with hopes of a glimpse of new photos and news.

These days it had become her habit to stalk his timeline whenever she was free. Or read old messages to reminisce their sweet past.

It was then she saw him uploading a photo with a beautiful girl with caption, "finally conquered my teenage crush".

The intimate posture was more than enough to declare their impure relationship.

His several classmates also congratulated him and blessed him for his new relationship.

Samia almost went crazy when she saw this photo. She and Ruhan hadn't broken up yet! How could this boy get into relationship with other girl?!!

What about her? How would she face her parents?

She had long lost her rationality and power of thinking. Without thinking about the consequences she immediately rushed to the restaurant where the party was being held.

'I don't accept it. This is not happening. It's a misunderstanding! Yes!.... It is a joke! Ruhan will not betray me like this. We will soon get married.'

At night in the busy streets, the stupid girl frantically drove her car to receive ths biggest betrayal of her life.
