Chapter 33 - Ungrateful

Lisa would have never thought that her casual act in the hotel would attract Ruhan's attention. Neither did she think that her act of kindness would entangle her to the conflict between the Ahmed family and the Shikdar family.

After Samia was taken to the hospital, her physical recovered quickly. But her mental health deteriorated gradually. Although she did try to commit suicide again, she didn't communicate with her family members.

However, Samia could be considered quite lucky. Because her parents cared about her and didn't marry her off due to this scandal. Instead, they began to pressurize the Ahmed family combined with other prominent families. For this reason Ruhan was heavily punished and his bank account was frozen for a long time.

However, these conflicts had nothing to do with Lisa. She carried on with her own life and paid no attention to them.

But, soon her peaceful life was disrupted when Samia began to pester her constantly.

When she heard that Lisa had saved her life and noticed her capability and independent character, subconsciously she began to depend on her and wanted to become like her. Moreover, her relationship with Ruhan caused her to fallout with her college friends. When they warned her not to trust Ruhan, she thought that they were jealous and bluntly insulted them.

Now that their warnings had come true, she didn't have any face to go and apologise to them.

But she was lonely and wanted to share her feelings with someone. So she tried to contact her whenever she could and wanted to spend time with her. Lisa had become her idol unknowingly.

But she could feel that Lisa didn't like her that much and didn't want to communicate with her. She understood that due to her weakness and foolishness, she looked down on her. She didn't want her idol to dislike her. She wanted to find excuse for herself.

Lisa was really annoyed with her. She wasn't interested in her personal life okay? She didn't want to know how skilled Ruhan was at disguising himself, how relentlessly he pursued her. She didn't want to listen to the stupid excuses this stupid girl made. She was busy with her own life..okay?

However, she couldn't express her displeasure. Afterall the Shikdar family was more powerful than them. They even dared to oppose the Ahmeds..naturally the Akters would be no match to them.

So she couldn't deny Samia's meeting. Thus, Samia became Lisa's little tail that followed her everywhere.

Present day:

Lisa was thinking about her meeting with the pair of brothers and sisters and sighed inwardly. She really never imagined that she would ever entangle with this messy family..let alone scheme against them.

But she didn't have any other choice. Both Ruhan and Siam had forced her into a corner.

After Ruhan laid out that preposterous proposal in front of Lisa, she was both angry and humiliated. She really loved her brother but she wouldn't sacrifice her dignity even if she had to sacrifice her own life for this. She decided to fight till the end. If she failed...then...well life and death depend on Allah. No one can escape death.

She was thinking about how to counteract Ruhan. She hoped secretly that he would not be too ruthless and his threat was an empty one.

Who knew that this ungrateful Siam Shikdar would contact her with another preposterous and stupid proposal that would not only harm her family but also ruin her reputation!!!?!

She had rescued his beloved sister Samia, protected her reputation from ruining. She offered her emotional support during her vulnerable period.. And yet..her damn brother wanted to use her as a chess piece in the fight between the Ahmeds and the Shikdars!!! How could Lisa not be angry.

These self centered people really did not put anyone other than their families in their eyes!!!

Just thinking about their ungratefulness made Lisa's heart filled with anger!!!

As the cineplex was dark and Lisa had covered her face, Siam couldn't see that Lisa's expression gradually turned serious and her face darkened. Hatred was filled in her eyes!!!

'Just wait till I, Lisa Akter, gain firm foothold in the Ahmed family. You would also see the consequences of messing with me just like that bastard Ruhan.'
