Chapter 41 - Duty As A Husband

After she left, Lisa also took a good look at her husband who was still rolling on the ground and raised her eyebrows.

"Dear husband, what are you planning to do now? Spill the bean...or else..."

Ruhan looked at her thoughtfully and started to think deeply.

Lisa smiled as she approached him.

"Beloved husband, you shouldn't use your tiny little brain too much. Otherwise it would disappear."

"You... " Ruhan's anger flared up again. But soon he controlled himself.

"I am calling for a truce and trying to mend our relationship. Why are you being so suspicious? I even gave you my properties to show my sincerity. Can you not be so paranoid?"

"Properties? " Lisa scoffed. "Is that how you want to show your sincerity? By giving me some mere properties? "

"Mere properties? " Ruhan almost vomited blood.

"The monthly income of these properties exceed millions of BDT. And you call them mere properties? "

He really didn't understand how could anyone be this arrogant!!!

"This amount of money is nothing compared to the income that came from my LiCorp...which you ruined with your own hands. Now you have the audacity to throw some properties at me and hope that I would forget everything that you did with my family!! Your shamelessness never fails to surprise me." Lisa's voice was filled with hatred.

Ruhan was startled by her sudden outburst. He felt that Lisa was overreacting.

"Do you have to dig out this million years old matter? The company was on the verge of collapsing." he tried to find an excuse.

He was born with silver spoon in his mouth and never had to work hard to get anything. Naturally he could never understand the affection Lisa felt towards LiCorp and how sad she was when the company collapsed.

His insensitive reply angered Lisa even more.

"Shut up...if you don't want to be kicked again..shut your filthy mouth."

No one had ever scolded Ruhan like this. His face turned red. He could no longer control his anger.

He reached out to her and forcefully grabbed her arm.

"How dare you talk to me like that? Have you forgotten that I am your husband? You are currently living in my house. If you hate me that much then get the hell out of my house."

Ruhan was holding her arm too tightly. Lisa felt pain in her arm. She struggled to get rd of his grip but in vain. Unexpectedly his strength had increased along with his temper.

"Let go" Lisa said coldly. She didn't like to be touched by Ruhan. Her face distorted.

Ruhan curled up his lips.

"It might be my fault too. Perhaps I have neglected my duty as a husband that led you to forget the nature of our relationship."

Lisa saw the typical lecherous smile on Ruhan and shuddered. She knew very well what was on his mind. She began to struggle more violently.

But she didn't know that her futile struggle made Ruhan even more excited. He brought her close to him.

Lisa lifted her leg to give him a hard kick. But he saw through her thoughts and immobilized her legs so that she couldn't kick anymore.

She used her free hand to hit him repeatedly and scratch his face. Her long nails left multiple scratch marks on his face and some of them even began to bleed.

"Wild kitty...stop being naughty," Ruhan gave another devilish laugh and grabbed her other hand. By now Lisa was completely immobilized.

Lisa was surprised inwardly. Just few days ago she fought with Ruhan. He didn't seem to be that strong at that time!!! How could his strength increase to this extent just within these few days!!! What the did he do to increase his strength!!!

What she didn't know that after their fight, Ruhan's self esteem was seriously hurt. So he went to gym and excercised as much as possible. His intense exercise greatly improved his strength.

Ruhan noticed her surprise and was amused. He went forward and began to kiss her forcefully.

Lisa felt as if she was electrocute. She began to struggle more violently.

She then tried to bite him. Face was one of the most vulnerable places in a body. Lisa didn't believe that after being bitten severely Ruhan could continue to act tough.

But unfortunately Ruhan saw through her. He gripped ger chin and prevented her from biting him.

At this moment, Lisa uudersrood no matter how much she struggled, she could not overpower Ruhan. Neither could she fight to save herself.

So eventually...she stopped struggling... as if she had already resigned herself on her fate....
