Chapter 57 - Things he had to do!!!

After a tiring day of work, Mr. Ahmed was preparing to go home early. At this time, Baki entered into his office with a gloomy face.

Mr. Ahmed raised his eyebrow and asked him, "You seemed to be in a bad mood. What happened? quarrel with your wife again?"

"Yes...no no..." Baki was embarrassed.  Mr. Ahmed didn't guess wrong. He did quarrel witb his wife. But that was not why he was in bad mood.

"Speak clearly," Mr. Ahmed glared at him.

"Sir...today Lisa madam spoke with someone suspicious over telephone." Baki said gloomily.

"So soon!!!" Mr. Ahmed was surprised.  He thought that the other party would wait for at least couple of days before contacting Lisa.

"Yes sir...I have recorded the call..in case you want to listen to their conversation."

Baki said in a low voice.

"It's a good news. We can identify our enemy sooner than expected. You should be happy." Mr. Ahmed was confused.

Baki sighed.

"Sir, I only managed to record madam's voice. I can not identify the other party."

"Why?" Mr. Ahmed was displeased. "Wasn't her phone tapped? It should be a piece of cake to identify the other party. "

"That's the problem." Baki said hurriedly, "Madam must have another cellphone. The caller didn't call her on her usual phone. I managed to hear her conversations because her office was bugged.  Otherwise..."

Mr. Ahmed's expression sank. Truth be told, he didn't want to bug Lisa's office. He didn't want to invade her privacy too much. It was Baki who convinced him to do otherwise.

Now it seemed that he was right.  This damn girl was trickier than he expected.

There goes his early leave!!! Mr. Ahmed sighed. He gestured Baki to give him the recording.

Baki handed him the recording and respectfully retreated.  Mr. Ahmed began to concentrate in the conversation. His face was cloudy. It was clear that he was angry.

After listening to the whole conversation, Mr. Ahmed's expression softened.  He chuckled.

Baki was surprised. Why was his boss laughing suddenly?

"It is really a pleasure to deal with intelligent people." Mr. Ahmed laughed again.

"Yes sir..it's true...but..what does it have to do with the recording? " Baki was confused.

"After listening to the conversation, three things have been confirmed:

1. Lisa has a grudge against Ruhan. So she is colluding with someone to deal with him.

2. The other party wants to harm the Ahmeds but Lisa is against it.

3. The other party must be powerful.  And it's main target is the Ahmed family.. Not only Ruhan."

"Yes sir...it was clear. Then what are you planning to do? As she is using other phone,  without finding out the other phone, it would be difficult to find out the other person's identify." Baki felt awkward.

"Actually it is not that difficult. I have my suspicions. From tomorrow, start looking into the families that are in similar business with us. Whose power is on par with us. Try to find out which one of them has link with Lisa."

Mr. Ahmed gave him series of tasks.

This was what Baki was anxious about. These types of works consumed a lot of time and energy. He was a secretary ok? Not a detective!

He sighed with regret. Things he had to do for his job!!!

Although he complained inwardly, he didn't dare to say anything loud. He felt depressed. He had thought this would a easy job! Who knew that the damn girl would use another phone!!!

"Sir" Baki gave a forceful smile. "She lives at your house. Can't you search for the phone in her belongings while she is not paying attention? "

"Are you suggesting that I should invade my daughter-in-law's privacy? " Mr. Ahmed gritted his teeth.

"No no no..not you...but Ruhan sir.." Baki spoke hurriedly. He was almost having a heart attack.

"Go and do your job." Mr. Ahmed waved his hand.

Ruhan and Lisa didn't even live in the same room. How could he go through her stuffs!! Moreover, he didn't want to let his pig headed son know that he was suspecting Lisa. This would encourage him to do something bag to her.

"Yes sir...I will try my best!!!" Baki almost ran away from the room.

Mr. Ahmed looked at the watch. It was already late.

He sighed helplessly. Things he had to do for families!
