Chapter 63 - Daydream

Tuli could not believe her bad luck.

She decided to treat her friends at the restaurant today to celebrate her promotion. She intentionally chose expensive foods and wore expensive clothes.  When she saw the envious looks of her friends, her vanity was greatly satisfied.

Who would have thought that she would lose her purse at this time!!! How was she supposed to pay her bill now? She could borrow money from her friends. But wouldn't she lose her face then? How could she suffer from such humiliation!!!!

"Are you ok? Is there anything wrong Miss?" In the midst of panic,  Tuli suddenly heard a gentle voice.

But the voice made Tuli even more irritated. Yes she was facing a problem. Her purse was stolen and she had  to pay her bills which amounted more than 10000BDT. She didn't need any consolation.  She needed money which no one would lend her.  She didn't want to entertain the stranger.

Tuli simply ignored him. But the man was persistent. He asked again, "Do you need any help? Are you feeling sick? You look pale. Should we take you to the hospital? "

Tuli turned to him to scold him. But seeing the man's handsome face full of concern,  she swallowed her bitter words and said in a calm voice,  "I am fine.  I have a problem but I don't think you can help me. So please leave me alone."

Tuli pinched her eyebrows.  She was really having a headache now.

"Oh..Ok...I thought I could help. I often notice you at this restaurant.  Today you seemed distress. So I approached you. Sorry to bother you." the man seemed disappointed.

If he was a regular person, Tuli would have ignored him. But everyone had weakness for beauty. Moreover, this man seemed like a refined gentleman. So she could help but comfort him, "It's not that I am annoyed with you. It's just that I don't think you can help me." Tuli said bitterly.  Although the man told her that he knew her beforehand,  this was in fact their first meeting. If she asked this much money from him, wouldn't he think that she was a scammer?

On second thought...he might not! She should reveal her identity as a worker of Ahmed Corporations!!!  An employee of Ahmed Corporations wouldn't have to scam anyone for money. Right?

So..Tuli decided to swallow her pride. She bit her lips and asked him, "Actually...I am in need of help right now. But I don't know how to ask you."

The man's face lit up. He smiled like a foolish. "Please..do not hesitate.  I will try my best to help you."

"Actually.. Recently I was promoted.  So I came out to treat my friends. But my purse got stolen." Tuli bit her lips with embarrassment.

"That's it!!!" the man chuckled. "Here I thought that the world had come to an end! Please tell me how much you need. I will lend it to you."

Tuli hesitated.  She needed almost 12000BDT. Who would carry such amount of cash with him!!!

But..she didn't have any other choice as well. Did she?

"Ahm....12000.." Tuli lowered her gaze and said in a low voice. She then looked at him and said hurriedly,  "I will return it to you as soon as possible.  I am not a scammer.  I swear."

"Of course no one would believe that you are a scammer." the man gave a dazzling smile.

He then took out his credit card and gestured Tuli to come with him.

Tuli was speechless. She thought that the man would at least show some reluctance. After all 12000BDT was not a small amount of money. But that man didn't even bat an eyelid!

Tuli repeatedly thanked him and exchanged contact informations. She must return him the money.

While she was leaving the restaurant with her friends, she saw the man getting on his fashionable sports car and driving away. At that moment, everything became clear to her.

No wonder that he gave away 12000BDT so casually!!! He was THAT rich!!! Not many people in Bangladesh had the luxury to buy a sports car! That man must be really rich!!!

As Tuli was returning to her officr, her mind couldn't help but recall the handsome, gentle man she met earlier. He was so rich but didn't put air around him. Instead he was really approachable.

Such a man...why did he take notice of her? Why did he take the initiative to help her?

As Tuli was thinking about him, her lips voluntarily curved up that she didn't even notice!!! Her heart began to beat faster.

Thus, the proud yet naive girl Tuli began to daydream about her own Cinderella story.
