Chapter 227 - Leaving Snowstar.
Next Morning.
Isaac was already awake in his dimly lit room, while the sun was only about to arrive on top of the sky.
The outside was already bright enough to treat it as the morning, and the only reason his room was not that bright was because of the curtains.
Isaac looked at the two bags in front of him and went through his items several times so that he won't forget anything.
He checked at least five times that the VR Helmet was with him.
It would be a tragedy if he forgot it, but even after making sure five times, he still wanted to make sure one more time.
Isaac took his phone from his pocket and opened it. Instantly the bright light covered his face, making his skin look slightly bluish.
He checked the time and nodded after seeing that it was time to go.
He put the phone back in his pocket and grabbed his bags before leaving the room.
After taking the first step outside his room, he turned around and looked at it for several seconds before using his leg to close the door.
*Bam*
In front of Isaac, the nametag which showed his name showed up.
It was carved nicely, each letter looking very fancy and beautiful.
''See you…'' Isaac murmured and, with no hesitation, walked away.
He descended all the way to the bottom floor, where his family was already waiting for him.
After taking his first steps on the first floor, his head was instantly surrounded by two large objects.
Isabella grabbed his body and hugged him tightly while whispering words of farewell, ''Take care, and I am sorry that you aren't allowed to go to the festival even though you want to.''
''It's fine…'' Isaac whispered and soon managed to escape the hug while thinking, 'I am definitely going there…'
Next in the turn was Mark who hugged his torso, ''Take care!''
Isaac ruffled his little brother's hair and soon came face-to-face with Marvin, who he did a simple fist bump with.
Next, he shared a hug with Alice, who wasn't feeling that pleasant after knowing that Isaac was leaving, but seeing his excited look, she didn't want to make him feel bad and whispered in his ear.
''Did you remember the school work?'' Her whisper was heard clearly by Isaac.
''I took them with me…'' Isaac whispered back and forgot to do most of the school work because he was too busy playing, but he decided to finish them during his visit to Brightstar.
Alice smiled and nodded, ''Good luck, brother.''
Isaac ruffled her hair and saw Sophia standing next to Maxwell, who did a simple nod, which he returned.
''It's time to go.'' Maxwell said and grabbed one of Isaac's bags, ''I will take you there.''
''Thanks…'' Isaac and Maxwell walked to the front door, but before leaving, Isaac glanced at his family and did a simple thumbs-up, signaling that their worries were unnecessary.
Isabella wiped her tears after feeling emotional. It was like she was biding farewells to her son, who entered adulthood and was about to marry some girl.
Marvin kept rubbing his chin and was more confident than others that Isaac would do fine.
Not many might know, but Marvin knows about the forum post, which showed Isaac battling against Orcs and terrifying Tail Spirit.
If he can handle those, he can handle anything!
Mark felt slightly lonely that Isaac was leaving but still had the rest of his family with him, and like Marvin, his innocent mind thought that Isaac would be gone for a few days and return just fine.
Sophia's face didn't have much emotion, but deep inside her eyes, something unknown was visible.
Alice's heart was rapidly beating out of nervousness.
*BA-THUMP!*
*BA-THUMP!*
Maxwell patted Isaac's shoulder, and both of them finally left the mansion.
Soon, the cars that were carrying them both left the mansion and started the journey to the airport.
During the ride, Isaac had memories of almost every place he managed to see. Even bad memories resurfaced in his mind, but most were good ones, and his throat became dry as he finally was leaving the City where he was born and raised.
Even though he would be gone for a week, the thought of being in another city, surrounded by strangers, made him reluctant to go. Still, Isaac had already made up his mind, and during the car ride, he managed to restore his willpower.
After the car reached the airport.
Maxwell and Isaac left the car with both of them carrying bags.
They entered the terminal and quickly made their way to the Gate, where Isaac's plane would be deporting.
After reaching the gate, Isaac gave the plane ticket to the flight attendant, who accepted it with a gentle smile and felt like pinching his soft-looking cheeks but managed to calm her urges.
''Son, if you don't feel safe there, or they are bothering you.'' Maxwell looked serious as he continued, ''You have a return ticket, which you can use to leave at any time.''
Isaac nodded but didn't plan to leave early.
''Thanks, dad.'' He hugged his father and entered the hallway with two bags in his arms.
Even Maxwell felt very nervous about the journey to the Brightstar, but he has started to trust his son more and was confident that he would be fine.
Isaac soon entered the plane, where another flight attendant was already waiting for him with a gentle smile on her beautiful face.
He showed the ticket, which told where his seat was.
The flight attendant showed him his seat, which was in first class.
Isaac put the bags inside the overhead bin and, after that, sat down on the window seat.
''If you need something, you can ask for anything.'' The flight attendant said gently with slightly pink cheeks.
''Thanks.'' Isaac smiled towards the flight attendant, without realizing the hidden meaning of those words.
Soon, the plane started moving in the runway.
Isaac's heartbeat became rapid as the plane started moving faster and faster until it was completely airborne.
Outside the window, he managed to see a glimpse of the snowy city of Snowstar.
Isaac's nose almost touched the window, and from there, he managed to see Whitelock Residence, where he had been living his entire life.
The plane soon disappeared from the Snowstar and rapidly approached Brightstar, Capital City of Starshow!
