Chapter 424 lsaac The Shopkeeper

The light was shining brightly on Whitelock Residence. The living room was occupied by the whole family while the large TV screen showed a movie.

Maxwell and Isabella occupied one of the couches, their fingers entwined.

Alice and Sophia were seated on their own chairs, their gazes firmly on the TV screen.

Marvin and Mark were whispering while watching the movie with a side glance.

Isaac was sitting alone on his chair, his gaze was on the TV screen, but his thoughts were far from it.

As the bright lights flashed on the screen, Isaac thought, 'What sub-class to choose… I can't afford to waste any more time. I have to choose something, and quick!'

'Having good income would be preferable… That way, I don't have to focus on gathering the items monsters drop, and can only focus on killing…'

'But… To have a good income, I would need to increase the popularity of my store and to do that, I need some product… Never before seen.'

As Isaac thought, his gaze slightly shifted from the screen to the nearby bookshelf. He could catch a glimpse of the covers, and an idea popped up in his head.

'What if… I copy an item from real-world… There is more advanced stuff and stories that would make everyone's jaw drop in the other world…'

'Now… I get it!' Isaac jumped to his feet and began making his way over to the stairs.

''Lil bro, where are you going? The movie is only halfway done.'' Marvin's voice came from the living room.

''To my room, I have seen the movie already,'' Isaac replied and ran quickly to his room. Once there, he placed the headset firmly around his head and plopped down on the bed.

After returning to his store, Isaac went straight to the storage room. In there, he opened a box that contained large stacks of papers and pencils.

He grabbed the box and carried it back to the counter. Afterward, he took out the stacks of paper and one pencil.

Then, he said, ''Sub-class Quest.''

Without further ado, the holographic screen emerged out of nowhere, and Isaac instantly pressed the one he chose as his sub-class.

[Novelist - Selected!]

[Novelist: Allows you to create stories with only your imagination being the limit]

Isaac's mind started running, and he instantly learned how to write an engaging story. His imagination began running wild, and a story began forming inside his mind. But also, his memory was incredible.

He could remember every single story he had ever read.

For now, he pushed his crazy story ideas aside and started writing on paper a story he had read in real-life at least once.

Soon, the sky went dark, and the store turned pitch black.

After a long time, a blue sky returned, and the residents of Priesthood started their new day.

Inside Isaac's store, he was still sitting behind the counter, stacks of papers on the desk.

Then, after the final word was written, Isaac showed a smile, ''Amazing… I remembered everything so vividly.''

In front of him was a story that he had read a long-time ago, but he could remember every single word, comma, and dialogue.

Then, Isaac put the papers in proper order from pages 1 to 265.

Ding! Ding!

[Publish/Save]

A holographic screen appeared above the papers, and Isaac didn't hesitate as he pressed Publish.

The papers started floating immediately, and it didn't take long for the papers to become a hard copy book with an actual cover!

Slowly, the book landed on the desk, and only the name was needed anymore.

''Well… To respect the Novelist's name, I will name the book The Tale of One-Handed Sword.''

After he finished speaking, the words began showing on the cover.

[The Tale of One-Handed Sword]

[10000 XP Earned!]

''Ah… I get XP too… Interesting.'' Isaac stood up while taking the book into his arms. Then, he went to a nearby bookshelf and neatly placed it on the first spot, Fantasy Books.

Isaac then looked around the store and saw how empty it truly was, his shoulders slightly slumped, ''Damn… I need to write… A lot.''

One week later.

''Haahh… Haahhh…'' Isaac wiped his sweat and named the last book before placing it on the bookshelf.

The store looked completely different than only a week ago. All the bookshelves were full of different-colored and named books.

The atmosphere in the store was still warm and cozy. There was also the scent of fresh wood wafting through the air.

Isaac walked toward the front door, slightly opened it, and flipped the sign until it said open.

After two weeks, the store was finally open for customers. During the writing process, his level increased by another 8, which was now 150.

Isaac returned to the counter and began waiting for the first customers.

Surprisingly, he didn't have to wait even a minute.

The door opened, and a middle-aged woman stepped inside the store while holding a hand of a little girl, around age 6.

''Welcome,'' Isaac said with his usual melodious voice that caused everyone's ears to ring with pleasure.

The middle-aged woman smiled gently and looked around the store with her daughter.

Then, after checking out the fantasy and action shelves, she asked, ''Do you have books for children in a sale?''

''Yes, we do.'' Isaac stood up and casually walked to a nearby bookshelf. Since he thought about opening the store for every age, he, of course, included children's books in the collection.

The middle-aged woman and her child followed after him. Soon, they reached a section with fairy tales.

Isaac's finger hovered in front of dozen different books, and he pulled one of them out, ''We have Fairy Tales… Like this one.''

He showed a book with the title 'Tale of Baba Yaga'.

''But, this might be too scary for… Little ones.'' He was about to put it back on the shelf, but then he felt a tug on his sleeve.

The middle-aged woman's eyes shook as she asked, ''Is this a book about Mythical Creature, Baba Yaga?!''

''Yes, that's the one.'' Isaac nodded.

''We take this!'' She said in a hurry and took out her money pouch. With seemingly no care, she pushed it into Isaac's arms and grabbed the book.

''T-Thanks!'' She quickly left the store afterward, her daughter closely following behind.

''Hmm?'' Isaac opened the money pouch, and his eyes widened in surprise, ''This has at least 100 thousand White Coins!''
