Chapter 452 Christmas

"Something strange happened to me in hospital," Luna said as she sat on the comfy bed. The pillows supported her back as she leaned against them.

"Yes?" Isaac had to fetch new pair of clothes from Marvin and returned after receiving them. He put the new garments on and sat next to Luna.

"I think…" Luna held her hand up and said, "We can use our abilities in real-life."

"What?!" Isaac's shock was clear in his tone.

"Wand, appear." Luna squinted her eyes, and suddenly a thin object landed on her palm. It was a silver-inlaid wand with a wooden handle.

Isaac's eyes bulged as he saw Luna holding her wand.

"Hecate's Magic, The One Circular, Dry Magic!" Luna waved the wand and then aimed at her smooth leg. Instantly her leg dried up from the waterdrops.

"Hehe." She smugly smiled and held her chest up.

Isaac stretched his hand forward and gritted his teeth, "Mosin-Nagant… Appear!"

As the wind slowly blew, a long weapon appeared out of thin air and landed on Isaac's palm.

"Haha!" Isaac held his sniper rifle in a tight grip and spun it slowly. Then, he aimed it toward the door and murmured softly, "Icy Shot…"

Bam!

A tiny icy bullet left the barrel and smashed against the wooden door. Instantly a thin ice layer covered the wooden door.

"Wow!" Luna and Isaac exchanged glances and laughed with disbelief.

After ten minutes of playing around with their abilities, they leaned against the bed's wooden frame and breathed calmly.

Then, Isaac turned to look at his girlfriend and asked, "Do you want to go somewhere?"

"Where?" Luna asked, glancing at him with a soft smile.

"A secret…" Isaac jumped off the bed and offered his hand to Luna. She gently grabbed his hand and stood up.

Before leaving, Isaac lent some of his clothes to Luna. There were slightly older clothes in his wardrobe that fit her petite figure nicely.

Then, they left the Whitelock Residence.

With hands locked, they walked in the crowded streets. The Christmas decorations adorned the stores, building walls, and indoors.

The TV showed Christmas shows and displayed holiday songs.

Amid the cheerful atmosphere, Isaac and Luna reached the Heart of Snowstar and arrived in the yard of the High School.

It was also bustling with parents and children visiting the school's buildings. But, there was also a large number of people going to the backyard, where the Temple of Confessions was.

Luna followed Isaac toward the lake, and soon they saw couples skating amid laughter on the crystal clear lake.

There were several hundred benches littered around the lake, and there were adult couples, elderly couples, and even high school couples spending time with their lovers.

Luna's eyes sparkled as Isaac led her to one of the wooden benches. She got seated with him, and they enjoyed the calm atmosphere.

"I always wanted to come here with someone…" Isaac said and held Luna's soft and warm hand. His eyes reflected the scene of couples skating, and he felt rather emotional.

Luna smiled softly and rested her head on his chiseled shoulder.

It didn't take long for others to notice their presence. Their inhuman beauty blinded many, and many felt like the white-haired man looked familiar.

"Isaac?" Suddenly, a shy voice came behind them.

Isaac and Luna turned around and saw a group of young women with several young men strolling toward them. In the middle of the group was Julia, her hair styled in a ponytail, showing her attractive features.

"Julia." Isaac's smile grew, "I didn't expect you to recognize me."

"Well… Wow." Julia's cheeks got pink as she looked at smiling Isaac, "You… look different…"

Luna narrowed her eyes and saw every young woman in the group blushing with fervent gazes. The young men looked incredibly jealous but also felt like lightning struck them once they saw Luna.

Her beauty got multiplied after the Winter Illness got removed. It wasn't only physical but also mental.

"Who is… this?" Julia asked after seeing Luna first time. Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Hello." Luna smiled and hugged Isaac behind, "I am Isaac's girlfriend. Nice to meet you!"

Julia's eyes shook, and the name Isaac reverberated in the ears of everyone present. They turned their heads toward the white-haired man and felt shock running through their bodies.

Now, they could see the familiarity between old Isaac and the new one.

Several Cult of White members were present and felt the most shocked. As they saw Isaac being safe, they felt a rush of happiness, but then they saw Luna, and their eyes turned red out of envy.

"This is my Luna." Isaac introduced her and slowly stood up alongside her, "It was nice seeing you, but it's time to return home."

He checked his wristwatch only a moment ago, and the time was nearing dinner time.

"A-Ah… Merry Christmas!" Julia bowed and returned to her friend group, standing still like frozen popsicles.

Luna grabbed Isaac's hand, and they strolled away amid hundreds of gazes. As their backs grew more distant, loud whispers echoed throughout the yard.

Half an hour later, Isaac and Luna entered the Whitelock Mansion.

They took off their shoe boots and jackets. Then, they held each other's hands and walked toward the living room.

To their utmost surprise, a much larger crowd was waiting for them.

Luna's parents immediately stood up, both having slight redness around the rims of their eyes. Then, there were Isaac's grandparents, sipping coffee while a slightly awkward atmosphere was present.

"L-Luna…" Mariah, Luna's mother, held her daughter's hands and asked with teary eyes, "I-Is it true… Is the illness gone? Truly gone?"

Luna smiled and nodded, "Yup! But where did you learn about it?"

"R-Richard called us and told us about it…" Sin held Mariah's trembling shoulder and said emotionally. The whole day had been a rush of emotions, that peaked after the phone call.

"I-Isaac?" Malcolm and Madison stood up with shock on their faces. They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Isaac entering the mansion and thought he was someone else.

"Yeah…" Isaac wryly smiled and then asked, "I thought you two didn't get along with my parents? How come you are here?"

"Our son has allowed us to stay here since we arrived…" Madison replied with a gentle smile.
