"Hmm, what was that sound?" Richard finished filling up the second canister and asked while turning to look at Isaac.

"Not sure… but it can't be anything good." Isaac narrowed his eyes and motioned for Richard to continue filling up the canisters.

Richard shakily nodded and placed the second canister into his inventory. Then, he took out the third canister and submerged it into the fountain of life.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Loud running footsteps came from the staircase. It sounded like someone was smashing a hammer against metal.

"Third done!" Richard said and tossed the third canister into his inventory. He immediately pulled out the fourth canister and submerged it into the beautiful blue water.

Isaac's two fists clenched as he heard the sound getting closer. Then, the sound grew silent, but a loud smash immediately followed after.

SMASH!

The door flew out of its hinges and crashed to the floor. Baba Yaga appeared inside the room with murderous crimson eyes. Her breathing turned rough as she saw the white-haired man.

There were obvious differences in the looks, but she could tell it was him… The person who destroyed another half of her face.

The scent was similar, and she could feel the water from the Fountain of Life flowing inside his body.

"She is comi—" The Ghost appeared from the ceiling. However, his voice died as he saw Baba Yaga standing in the room.

'I was late, fuck!' He screamed internally as he thought he had failed.

"I-Isaac." Richard gulped, "Should we leave with teleportation pearl?"

"No, keep filling up the canisters," Isaac said, taking out his shiny Mosin-Nagant Sniper Rifle. The silvery blade shone brightly like it was shining underneath the stars.

"Y-Y-Y-You…" Baba Yaga's nails grew bigger as her venomous breath turned the atmosphere heavy, "I have been waiting for this day… for so long…"

"Me too." Isaac immediately aimed and pulled the trigger.

The bullet ripped through the air and landed on Baba Yaga's left cheek.

"ARGHHH!" Baba Yaga's fearsome screech echoed through the hospital as she flew out of her room and crashed into the wall on the other side.

While the bullet was trying to penetrate her left cheek, it could not, and its velocity diminished before dropping to the ground.

On Baba Yaga's left cheek, a small cut was dyed red, and tiny drops of blood fell from it.

Isaac stepped out of the Fountain of Life's room and slowly moved toward Baba Yaga.

"I WILL KILL YOU!" Baba Yaga screamed and lunged across the room. Her long, bloodied nails shredded through the air as she slashed toward Isaac!

He spun the gun around and shifted his sniper rifle into the position of a block, thereby blocking the nail's path. As a result of the clash between her bloodied nails and the weapon he was holding, the result was a draw.

The bloodied nails couldn't cut through the sniper rifle, and Isaac couldn't push the attack back. Instead had to rely on his sturdy block.

"RAH!" Baba Yaga raised her left hand and slashed down with her nails!

Isaac deflected the nails with the silvery blade as he slashed in an arc-shaped pattern.

The nails slashed through the floor effortlessly.

After Isaac positioned the gun so that Baba Yaga's face was on the other end of the barrel, he pulled the trigger.

Baba Yaga tilted her head towards the left and felt the strangely powerful bullet brushing past her cheek.

"Is that… all?!" She screamed and slashed using both hands!

"Nah…" Isaac grinned and jumped over the nails. As he floated in the air, he stopped above Baba Yaga and already had the barrel aiming at her head!

"Eh?" Baba Yaga raised her head and saw the barrel facing her.

The barrel started trembling, and a transparent veil suddenly engulfed Baba Yaga's tall figure. The veil sent raging shockwaves toward the environment and to Baba Yaga.

"ARGHHH!" Baba Yaga screamed as she got forced to kneel. The shockwave rocked her body, making her shoulders and head extremely heavy.

Isaac somersaulted and pulled the trigger several times. The shiny bullets left the barrel and hit Baba Yaga in the face, pushing her back with strong force.

"Kghgrh!" Baba Yaga's face got covered in dark blood as the bullets cut straight through her tough skin and caused severe damage.

Isaac landed on the floor and said, "Let's take this fight to somewhere else…"

The barrel suddenly shone in a brilliant crimson hue. Then, a menacing-looking laser beam flew out of it and landed straight on Baba Yaga's torso.

"KGGHR!" Baba Yaga's crimson eyes widened as she felt something hot burning her torso. The laser beam pushed her towards the ceiling and caused her body to crash through several concrete ceilings!

She continued getting pushed upwards while her body was on the receiving end of the dreadful damage. Soon, her flight stopped as she crashed through the first floor's ceiling and landed on the second floor.

"T-T-That… bastard…" She looked down at her ragged and burnt robes. Her dirty stomach appeared with large burn damage. Her torso was slightly charred black.

Whoosh!

Then, a blur of white leaped out of the hole and landed next to Baba Yaga.

"Y-You!" Baba Yaga screamed and slashed upwards, going straight towards Isaac's jaw.

Isaac jumped backward and dodged the bloodied and long nails. He landed on the other side of the hole with the gun's stock resting against his shoulder and his finger on the trigger.

"Y-You… AREGHJJ!" Baba Yaga's body convulsed as the rage began assaulting her insides. She only wanted to rip the white-haired man to shreds, but he'd grown stronger in the past year.

So strong that it made even her doubtful. Could she really defeat this bastard, or would she be the one to lose?

However, the endless waves of rage muffled all those thoughts.

"I WILL KILL YOU!" Baba Yaga's scream caused extremely heavy pressure to engulf the hospital. The walls started cracking, and the ceilings began crumbling down.

Isaac frowned and felt the heavy pressure pushing down his shoulders. His grip on the sniper rifle was getting shakier.

"…" With a side glance, he looked at the percentage, and it was slowly rising… A small smile curved his lips upwards.
