Chapter 629 Demon's Strange Feelings.
Bella lowered her hand, and heaved a sigh. The destruction of Stronglord created strong emotions within her. It was perhaps the first place she could call ''home'' even though it was only in her fantasies. Now, she destroyed her fantasies alongside Isaac.
''Goodbye Wraith...'' She murmured, then turned around to leave. She expected the white-haired man to have died. Her heart wrenched, like someone had impaled it with a knife, then twisted it around like a twisted sadist.
Bang! Out of nowhere, a bleeding hole appeared in her chest, gushing with blood. A blood-stained bullet flew into the faraway distance. She turned around, and saw Isaac standing by the hole, his clothes in rags. The trousers he wore were torn, revealing his long, well-toned legs.
''You are full of surprises...'' Bella murmured, and grabbed her wound. It soon healed as the flesh reconnected like thin strings. She then moved her shoulder backward, and threw a punch. The force of a punch was so powerful that it caused loud boom.
Boom!
The air pressure, coming from the punch, flew across the air, and destroyed the ground around Isaac. He didn't move an inch as the ground around him cracked to pieces.
Isaac unholstered Silvercloud, aimed at Bella, and pulled the trigger. Bella stepped to the side, dodged the bullet, then leaped out of the roof, and kicked vertically, like she was trying to mimic an axe, attempting to cut Isaac down.
Isaac backflipped as the kick destroyed rest of the ground. He landed on top of dimly-lit street lamp. Then he aimed the pistol at Bella, coated the bullets in Death Touch, and fired.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bella weaved through the bullets, then the last bullet grazed past her cheek, causing her to come to a halt. The cracks instantly covered half of her face, and it looked like her face was peeling off!
However, she quickly activated her inhumane demonic healing prowess, and the cracks slowly vanished. She moved her head side to side, trying to loosen her stiff neck muscles. Then, she moved across the street, slashed through the street lamp with her palm.
Isaac landed on the ground as the cut-in-half street lamp landed next to him. He turned around, and blocked Bella's fist. Her punch again caused a loud, explosive sound. She reeled in her fist, moved her shoulder backward, then punched repeatedly.
Isaac crossed his arms, and blocked the powerful-sounding punches. His legs slowly trembled as his knees bent. Before Bella managed to punch him to the ground, he grabbed her cloak, moved his foot behind her, and tripped her. She lost her footing, then fell back-first to the ground.
She rolled to the side, avoiding Isaac's punches. As soon as she could stand up, she did, and punched with both her fists. They shredded through the air while the air was filled with boom, boom, boom, sounds.
Isaac blocked the first punch with his forearm, then tilted his head to the side to dodge the second, and then punched Bella in the face.
She staggered backward before spitting the blood out of her blood-soaked mouth.
Isaac made the Mosin-Nagant appear, then aimed at Bella, and activated Destruction as he fired.
''Hah!'' Bella slammed her fist into the incoming bullet. The Destruction, did, as the name suggested, destroy. Her arm exploded into a bloody mist--the bullet shredded through the arm until the arm was gone all-the-way to her shoulder.
However, Bella kneed Isaac's torso, and sent him flying across the street. Then, her arm healed with super regeneration. It looked creepy, like her bones, and flesh tissue had become slithering tentacles before forming together as one arm.
Isaac placed his hands below him, and pushed himself up with a short backflip. His eyes reflected a powerful glow as he kicked the ground, then launched forward. He arrived before Bella, then threw a punch.
Bella blocked the fist, and when she was about to counter-attack, Isaac suddenly kicked her legs, causing a powerful ''smack'' sound to reverberate across the air. Her knees slightly buckled underneath her, and she was forced to halt her moves.
Isaac grabbed her horns, and slammed his knee into her face. Her nose bled as her head got pushed with great force backward. She then was unable to block the next attack as Isaac slammed his fist across her face.
In each attack, he used Death Touch, and Bella could feel it. Her leg started cracking alongside her face.
Isaac placed his palm before Bella's chest, then formed a fist. The simple movement caused a strange scene. It was like a powerful shockwave appeared as her chest caved in, and blood flowed out of her mouth. It was like she had been hit by a train!
''One-Inch Punch...'' It was a movement he copied from All-In-One!
For fun, and experimentation purposes, he tried to copy some of the physical skills of other Legacy Carrier. Most were impossible to learn, but things like One-Inch Punch were doable!
Also, with his hands, it was even more powerful than the All-In-One's. They couldn't be even compared!
Bella held her chest, and felt dizzy. The constant attacks made her feel weak, and her vision couldn't help but become blurry. It was like a sudden fog appeared before her, with mysterious-looking figure behind it. The figure had a fluttering white hair, and his face was hidden behind the fog.
Then, another punch landed on her nose, clearing the vision slightly. Most of her beautiful face was already filled with cracks. She shook her head, and focused her demonic powers into healing. The cracks disappeared, revealing her beautiful face, a confusion plastered across it.
She could defeat Hephaestus with ease, and he was one of the major gods. Now, she couldn't defeat a human who should be weaker.
'Is this because of my love?' She wondered, and turned to the crack in the sky, 'The demons aren't made to love. They aren't supposed to know what it means. We are beings made of hate, and resentment, and if we feel anything else, we become weak.'
Isaac slowly lowered his hands, and looked at Bella with a sad expression, ''Do you feel any regret?''
''No...'' Bella heard his voice clearly. It was like it was the only voice in the world, ''We can't feel such thing. Regret is not even part of our vocabulary.''
