Chapter 28 Scary, Their New CEO Is Very Scary!

On the thirtieth floor of the building, the offices of managers were located. The offices of the other two managers whose working time was not during the night were locked. But the office of manager Wang was unlocked, and the lights were also on.

Zhou Liying entered the office and took her seat on the head chair. She looked at the files roughly placed on the table.

Zhou Liying randomly picked up a file and started to go through its content. She frowned upon noticing the incomplete work.

"This manager Wang is something." She commented. "I don't know why uncle has not fired him till now."

"Maybe because he is the son of one of the sir's friends." Min Yue reported, and Zhou Liying nodded her head.

She then picked up another file. A sly smile appeared on her lips. "So, Lu corporation has also approached us for the funds. Interesting."

Zhou Liying looked at the papers and financial statements of Lu corporation. Words of Lu Chunhua rang in her mind.

"Make a call to Mister Lu and tell him that the deal with them is over." Zhou Liying passed the file to Min Yue.

Min Yue took the file and after taking a note of the contact details, she made a call to Mister Lu using the company's phone.

"Hello, am I talking with Lu Jinnian?" The Voice of Min Yue was laced with a practised professionalism.

"Yes, I am Lu Jinnian. Can I know with whom I am talking to?"

"I am speaking from Zhou corporations. I am calling to inform you that my miss has called off the contract with Lu corporations. We no longer want to invest in your company."

"How can you?"

Lu Jinnian stood up from his chair noisily. He placed his hand over his heart. He checked his mobile screen to confirm that it was a call from Zhou corporations, not a prank call.

"I thought everything is settled, then why this sudden change of mind at the last moment?"

? "For that, you should talk with your daughter. She offended someone from the higher-ups with her dog-like mouth." And with that Min Yue placed the phone down.

Zhou Liying smirked and twirled the tabletop around.

"I hated that Lu girl. Finally, I got a chance to have my revenge."

Zhou Liying opened another file and started to read the content. She must say, there was a lot of scope in the development of Zhou corporations in Shanghai but if only the managers were working with diligence.

"Min Yue, go and check if my office is ready or not. If it is ready, then ask someone to shift all these files to my office."

Upon receiving the orders of Zhou Liying, Min Yue made her way toward the floor where the CEO's office was to be located.

When she arrived at the said floor, employees working on that floor looked at her with wide eyes. Recognition was there in their eyes.

"Isn't she the assistant of Miss Zhou? But what is she doing here now? Wasn't miss going to visit the company tomorrow?" one of the employees asked his co-worker.

"Maybe she is here to check up on the CEO's office." His co-worker replied. "Now stop gossiping. We do not want to leave a bad impression on the assistant. What if she reports about us to Miss CEO? Haven't you heard about her reputation in the London office?"

Min Yue smirked when she heard them.

'So, the news that Miss is a hitter has already reached the ears of employees at the Shanghai branch. Not bad, not bad. But if only they knew that miss is already here in the building.'

Min Yue entered the cabin. It was decorated according to the taste of Zhou Liying. She nodded her head in satisfaction upon finding it appropriate. She came out of the cabin and looked for one of the workers.

"Miss, do you have any work for me?"

"Yes, go down to the manager Wang's office and retrieve his files for me." Min Yue ordered.

Peon looked at her with doubt. How was he to go and get some files from manager Wang's office without his permission?

"Don't worry, consider this to be an order from your CEO. Now go."

One of the employees looked at Min Yue from behind his workbench. He had heard Min Yue was the right hand of their boss and today he was seeing the same.

Without wasting any time, peon made his way toward the manager Wang's office. He was shocked to see a woman seated on his chair. It did not take him time to put two and two together.

"Good evening miss." He greeted her and picked up the files from the table.

"Don't inform anyone about my presence in the office." She ordered the peon and he shivered to hear the threat in her voice.

"Of course, miss. I will not inform anyone."

With his tail tucked in between his legs, peon ran out from the office with some files in his hand.

'Scary, their new CEO is very scary!'

After some time, manager Wang also arrived in the building after his nightly activity, completely unaware of what was going to befall upon him.

"Who are you and what are you doing here in my office?" Manager Wang yelled the moment he saw Zhou Liying sitting on his chair. "And how dare of you to sit on my chair?"

Zhou Liying leaned on his chair and looked at him with a cold glare.

"Your chair?" she chuckled. "I am sad to inform you Mister Wang, but you have lost all your rights to sit on this chair."

"Who are you to tell me this? Get up, leave my seat." Wang Yi had a lot of drinks tonight. He was completely intoxicated and was in an aggressive condition.

He walked toward his chair and was about to attack Zhou Liying when out of nowhere, her shadow guards came to her rescue. With ease, they pushed Wang Yi away.

Zhou Liying stood up from her chair and looked at him. "You don't deserve to sit on this chair. This chair is for someone compatible, someone passionate not a drunken like you."

"Who are you?" Wang Yi asked when he felt a strong aura from Zhou Liying. Sweat appeared on his forehead. With men in black surrounding her, she looked no less than a queen from hell.
