Chapter 170 Torture Him.

Next day, Mu Yuehan returned to Mu corporation after a long time. His face was poker, without any unwanted emotion. The pain he felt last night upon knowing that he had lost a baby was well hidden in his heart.

He entered his office and took his seat. Immediately, Li Tao was reporting to him of his schedule and Mu Yuehan was working on it.

"You are back, seriously?" Zhan Wei teased when he saw Mu Yuehan in his office. "What about your plan to pursue your lady love? Have you already accepted your defeat?"

Mu Yuehan closed the file in his hand and placed it aside. He looked at his friend with a raised brow. "I am not a coward like you. I will never stop pursuing after my lady love."

"Hey, hey, hey, why are you adding salt to my wounds?" Zhan Wei glared at him. "And if you are still pursuing her, then what the hell are you doing here in your office?"

"Have you heard about giving some space? I am giving my love some space, for her to miss me, for her to realise that she has feelings for me." Mu Yuehan smirked.

"You and your ideas. I hope she will not forget about you when you are not with her." Zhan Wei teased but it acted like salt on the wounds of Mu Yuehan.

His eyes darkened and he glared at his friend. "She has already forgotten about me once; I will not let it happen again. I know how to keep myself in her mind and her heart."

He opened another file. "Now go, I have a lot of work to complete."

"I am going. I am going. Don't be angry at me." Zhan Wei raised his hands in surrender and left the office of Mu Yuehan.

Mu Yuehan looked at the door with black eyes. She had already forgotten about him once, he'd not let it happen again, slash that, he'd never let her get hurt or kidnapped ever again.

He'd do his best to protect her.

Zhou Liying was doing a video conference with the designer head of her car business unit when Min Yue entered in her office. There was concern and worry in her eyes. Her face was yelling emergency. Looking at her expressions, Zhou Liying ended the call. She looked up at Min Yue.

"What happened?"

"There is bad news. The members from the eagle gang were able to free themselves. They all left." Min Yue reported with a fearful expression on her face.

"Impossible." Zhou Liying slapped on the table and noisily stood up from her seat. "My guards are the best then how can they fail to keep a few men in their custody?"

Zhou Liying felt outrageous when she heard Min Yue. She thought that her team was the best then how can few men had left from her custody. It had never happened before.

"It seems like eagle gang is no ordinary gang. Our secret quarters were attacked from outside. Before guards could understand what was happening, all members were gone." Min Yue reported with her head bowed. "Luckily no one died but many guards are injured."

Zhou Liying clenched her hands tight. She placed her fists on the table and looked ahead with a murderous gaze. Min Yue shivered upon seeing the dark vibes coming from her.

"Guards tried to track down the eagle gang but they failed because they still are unaware of the map of the city, also because they are quite less in number unlike in London."

Zhou Liying closed her eyes in an attempt to lessen her rage. She regretted her decision as to not shift her security head quarters here in Shanghai.

"Call Aiden. Tell him I need him and his troop here in Shanghai. I am again switching his job." Zhou Liying said in a calm voice but Min Yue knew, it was calmness before the calamity.

After taking her order, Min Yue left her cabin. Once she was gone, Zhou Liying angrily pushed away the files from the table.

Once again, she felt anxious and powerless. Twenty members left from her clutch. It was a big defeat for her. And the major reason for her worry was, a killer was roaming outside, thirsty to kidnap her or torture her like the last time.

"Boss, there is bad news." Li Tao entered in the office of Mu Yuehan and took long deep breathes.

He was gone to the bank to meet the manager when he received a call from head of Mu Yuehan's security. He left his work and abruptly return to tell the news to Mu Yuehan.

"Members of the eagle team left the custody of Miss Zhou. Her security was attacked from outside."

"I knew it." Mu Yuehan stood up from his seat. He was looking furious. "I was sure, the other members will not let their colleagues suffer."

Mu Yuehan shook his head in defeat. He was feeling as if it was not the defeat of Zhou Liying but his loss.

"What is your next order boss?"

"Ask the secret security to secretly search for them. I am sure, they will not abandon this mission without one more try." Mu Yuehan informed, from his knowledge and experience. "They will try to attack her when she will least expect it."

Mu Yuehan walked toward the window of his office and started to knock on it, lost deep in thoughts.

"What about the man in our custody?" he turned his face and looked at Li Tao with question.

"He is not saying anything even after our tortures. With a smile on his face, he is facing all the tortures, as expected from an eagle."

Li Tao nodded and made few calls and then, Mu Yuehan and Li Tao were going toward the secret quarters of Mu Yuehan where he tortured his enemies.

Mu Yuehan arrived at the clothes factories under Mu's. In silence, he made his way toward the centre of the factory using secret doors. He then stepped down the stairs which led him toward his underground dungeons.

"Mu." The eagle smirked with recognition when he saw Mu Yuehan. He was sitting naked on the ice. There were many wipe marks on his skin with broken skin, but still, he was smiling.

Mu Yuehan narrowed his eyes. "Tell me, who is your employer? Why do you want to kidnap Zhou Liying?"

Mu Yuehan picked up an iron rod and pushed it toward the eagle in a threatening manner. He placed it toward his private area.

"I will tell you. I will tell you, but keep this rod away." The eagle looked at him with a fearful expression.
