Chapter 173 Scared.

"What are you doing here?" Zhou Liying pushed Mu Yuehan away when she heard the sound of the door closing. She looked at the seat opposite her with wide eyes, to find that Mister Mo was gone.

She then looked at Mu Yuehan with wide shock and anger-filled eyes. He looked at her with a teasing smile and removed her saliva from his lips, using his tongue.

"Delicious, you are delicious." He murmured and Zhou Liying fumed.

"What are you doing here? And how the hell did you enter this room?" she yelled and pointed her finger at him. "Are you following me?"

"Following you, yes." He agreed without any hitch. "And why not, how can I let my future wife date someone else?" there was glitter in his eyes.

"I am not your future wife. Why can't you get this simple thing in your mind? I will never marry you. You should forget about me." She boomed and looked at him with an arrogant smile. "You are a one-night stand for me, nothing more."

After making her point clear, Zhou Liying left the restaurant and to her car. Mu Yuehan looked at her with a sly smile on his lips. He whistled with delight and made his way out of the restaurant.

"What happened? Why do you look so angry? Did Mister Mo say something inappropriate to you?" Min Yue asked with concern when she caught sight of fuming Zhou Liying.

"Hanhan happened. He entered the private room and kissed me in front of Mister Mo. He left before we could negotiate about anything." Zhou Liying murmured with irritation and placed her hand over her forehead.

Min Yue wanted to whistle and clap when she heard Zhou Liying. She must say, Mu Yuehan was quite good at doing his work for being get called her man. He was persistent to become Mister Zhou.

Zhou Liying looked out from her car's window with complicated expressions on her facial features. When Mu Yuehan entered the private room, her heart fluttered madly even thou she tried to stop it. She was happy to see the rage on his face and happy that he kissed her.

Somewhere, she felt happy at his persistence to make her his wife, to not let her see any other man, but on the other side, she felt scared.

She took a deep breath and opened the email application on her phone. She did not want Mu Yuehan to affect her thoughts and the best way to distract herself was to do some office work.

Mu Yuehan returned to his car with a satisfied smile on his lips. Looking at his smile, Li Tao knew his boss was able to accomplish his work.

Mu Yuehan took his seat in the car and ordered Li Tao to drive him toward his penthouse. He pulled out his phone and dialled the number of Zhou Bingbing.

"You are speaking to Zhou Bingbing." She answered the call after two rings.

"Miss Zhou, it's me, Mu Yuehan. I need your help." Mu Yuehan smirked.

"What help?"

And just like that, with the help of Zhou BingBing, Mu Yuehan got his hands on the shortlisted list prepared by Zhou Liying of the most eligible man who could be her husband.

And in within one night, he was able to warn every one of them to stay the hell away from his girl.

Zhou Liying returned to her penthouse, completely unaware of what Mu Yuehan was doing at this hour of the night. She walked toward her room and got changed into her silk gown.

Once changed, she made her way toward the kitchen. There was still some time for dinner, she decided to cook one for herself. It had been a long time since she cooked something.

With a bowl of spaghetti in her hands, she walked toward the small garden inside her penthouse. She took her seat on the small wooden swing placed in the garden. She removed her shoes to let the wet grass tingle her feet.

She looked out from the balcony and at the city while enjoying her Spaghetti. Her mind was lingering with the thoughts of past, present and future.

So many times, in the past, she got attached to many people. She made many friends in school but with time, they all left her. She did not even remember many of them. And then, her most loved one, her mother left her.

It was hard for her to recover from the heartbreak of her mother's loss but she recovered because of her grandma. And when she relied on her grandma, she left her all alone in the world.

Zhou Liying took a long deep breath with an open mouth, feeling her heart heavy with pain. It was not easy for her to accept Qin Yanze. Every time, she was scared that he'd left her like everyone else.

Many times, she dreamt that he had an accident or he started to hate her. It took her a long to accept that someone was there who would stay beside her.

She started to build new trust that her loved ones were not going to leave her alone. But then she lost her puppy which Qin Yanze had gifted to her and then, she lost one of her friends in a car accident.

After that, after a long time, she tried to fall in love with Fan Yifeng, keyword tried and before she could fall for him, he too left her and then Qin Yanze sent her away. She was again alone.

When she woke up in the hospital four years back, it was not easy for her to let anyone inside her heart. She was scared that everyone would leave her alone. She believed that she was destined to live alone.

There was a man in her past she did not remember, the one who too left her alone. Everyone left her!

She let many people inside her heart. She formed her family, only to suffer the loss of her paternal grandma, and in within the next three months, she lost her grandpa.

And now, when Mu Yuehan was again showering her with love, she felt scared. She'd lost him too like the others. She was shit scared to let him soften her heart. She was afraid to fall for him and let him see her raw and weak side.

She was scared to get dependent on him, only to find him gone at last. She knew, that if she fell for him and then if he left her, it would not be easy for her to stand again.

And this terrified her shitless!
