Chapter 224 Dream!

"Who are you? Where am I?" Zhou Liying yelled. She pushed away the persons who were looking at her with wistful eyes.

She tried to see their faces properly but she failed. She could only see their dark eyes which were filled with lust and victory. Excitement too was there in their eyes.

Scene changed

"You cannot do anything to me. You cannot. I have people watching over me. I am sure, they will come to rescue me." Zhou Liying was laying in a corner of a room. She saw herself, covered in blood and dirt. She looked horrible.

"And who will come to rescue you?" someone chuckled. "Your grandpa who is already dead?"

She froze. 'Was her grandpa dead?'

"Or Mu Yuehan who has already found another girl to kill his time? He has forgotten about you, girl. He has already moved on. He is a heartbreaker and after playing with you, he left you. He left you."

"No, you are lying. You are lying." She yelled and threw her arms around herself.

"Lili, open your eyes, it's a dream." Mu Yuehan violently shook the body of Zhou Liying. He felt concerned and worried for her. She was quivering. Tears were falling from her eyes.

His heart twisted upon seeing her in this state. "Open your eyes. I am here beside you." He mumbled and tugged her close to his chest.

"Yuehan?"

"Mm."

Zhou Liying sighed upon hearing his voice. She threw herself in his arms and clutched him tight as if her life depended on him. Mu Yuehan too hugged her tight. He ran his hand over her back, feeling her heart running quite furiously.

She was gasping for breath. "Calm down. It was a dream. Nothing bad happened. I am here." He murmured in her ears and his words were enough to soothe her.

She nibbled her nose in his neck and took long breath. She felt relaxed after inhaling his familiar fragrance and feeling his warmth.

After some time, she again fell asleep in his arms. Nor she loosened her grip on him, nor he let her go from his arms.

Mu Yuehan woke up at eight in the morning. It was a very good morning for him because he woke up with Zhou Liying in his arms. She was practically laying on him with her head on his chest and her legs on his.

He smiled, enjoying this feeling of waking up all tangled with her. This reminded him of his happy and peaceful days in Juju island.

With much difficulties, he untangled himself from Zhou Liying because of some important needs. He rushed to the bathroom and relieved himself.

He came out and made his way out of the room. He decided to prepare breakfast for her. He wanted to use his Sunday by having his first breakfast with her as his wife.

He called Li Tao and asked him to deliver a change of clothes for him. He then started to do the preparations for her breakfast. Once he was done with preparations, he decided to call Zhou Yonge, to ask him about her nightmare's.

"I hope, I am not disturbing you." Mu Yuehan spoke politely over the phone.

"No, you are not. Tell me, why are you calling me so early on a Sunday morning?" Zhou Yonge yawned.

"Do you know about the nightmares of Lili?" he asked without beating around the bushes.

"How do you know?" there was a surprise in the voice of Zhou Yonge.

"Last night, I was with her. In the middle of the night, I woke up because she was having a nightmare."

Zhug Yonge sighed heavily, "I thought she don't have them anymore. Guess, she was lying all the time." He spoke dejectedly. "She was having very bad nightmares when we found her. Her condition was very bad. She had a tough time In sleeping for nearly a month. I appointed a psychiatrist for her, after a few appointments, her dreams reduced to quite an extent."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head. He already knew what she dreamt about. Probably, it was about the hard time she had when she was kidnapped. She stayed god knows where for two months which was a long time to mentally affect someone.

"Somewhere, her nightmares are the reason I never pushed her to remember her past. I am afraid, she'd not be able to handle what happened with her when she was kidnapped." Zhou Yonge put forth a deep secret of his heart in front of him.

"Thank you for informing me about this uncle. I will try to give her so much love that she will dream about me and me only. No nightmare will trouble her." He promised and ended the call.

He placed the phone aside and leaned against the counter. His heart turned heavy upon thinking of her tragedy. He did not know what she faced for her to have so scary nightmares.

His guilt increased many folds!

Zhou Liying yawned and opened her eyes. She placed her hand over her head, feeling headache. She groaned and searched for a glass of water beside her bedside table.

Her eyes widened when she noticed the glass, with a hangover pill placed beside it. She raised her brows in amusement, 'From when did Aiden become so thoughtful to place hangover pill beside me?'

Yesterday night, Zhou Liying was not alone in the club. Aiden and four of his guards were there with her. After the elevator incident, Aiden was closely following after her. Much to her irritation, he took his seat where Mu Yuehan sat originally.

That was why, Zhou Liying thought it was Aiden who dropped her at her penthouse and placed the hangover pill for her. She had no idea that Aiden left the club the moment he saw Mu Yuehan. He knew Mu Yuehan was looking after her which meant, his service was no longer needed.

Zhou Liying felt quite relieved after taking the hangover pills. She decided to take a bath first but then she changed her mind when her stomach grumbled loudly.

She sighed and made her way to the kitchen. Her eyes widened with shock when she inhaled mouth-watering aroma coming from her kitchen.

Dumbfound, she looked at Mu Yuehan, cooking in her kitchen, wearing her apron and this image looked familiar to her that her heart started to beat frantically.
