Chapter 71 - Yu Cen Ran's Master
Hearing this ghastly wail, Yu Cen Ran's face was filled with black lines. She curled her lips, and disdainfully removed the two claws on her neck. "Is that enough? Turn them off."
Nanqiao snatched the remote control, but had to look at it and be afraid of it. With a conflicted expression, Yu Cen couldn't help but laugh. He bent down and approached, "Who said it was shameful to shout?"
Nanqiao's face turned red and he stammered as he gave Yu Cen Ran a look. Yu Cen Ran's body was getting closer and closer as a sense of pressure came pressing down on them. Nanqiao deliberately restrained his expression as he forcefully pushed away Yu Cen Ran.
Unknowingly, it was night and Yu Cen Ran had left the TV. Since there was nothing she wanted to watch, she just hugged the Kindle as she sat at the side. She glanced at Yu Cen Ran and said, "The study is very comfortable and quiet. Why are you sitting here sulking?"
Yu Cen Ran knew that Nanqiao was complaining about turning off the TV and didn't say anything. Her long fingers were digging through the documents in her hands as she occasionally picked up a cup of coffee and took a sip before putting it down. Her eyes never left the TV.
After a long while, Yu Cen Ran raised his eyes and said, "Master's ninetieth birthday is coming up in a few days. I plan to go over there and join you?"
Nanqiao frowned. "Your master?"
Yu Cen Ran rested a hand on her temple. "Yes, that old man is celebrating his 90th birthday this year. As his disciple, I naturally have to go and offer my birthday to him."
Nanqiao found it funny, but he had never heard the old man say such words in Yu Cen Ran's mouth. He was intrigued. "Alright, I'd like to know what kind of person can educate our Boss Yu?"
Hearing her words, Yu Cen Ran secretly laughed and turned away. "An old man, what's there to be curious about?"
The next day, Yu Cen Ran and Nanqiao set out for a small island in the Pacific Ocean.
The Pacific Ocean was indeed the largest ocean on Earth. However, Yu Cen Ran and co. did not travel to a well-known island. They sailed for a long time before finally stopping at a pier after South Bridge's protest.
As soon as they landed, Nanqiao leaned against the railing and vomited. Her stomach was really uncomfortable, and her face was very ugly.
Yu Cen Ran stood modestly to the side. She walked over and patted the South Bridge's back as she frowned, "Didn't you say you weren't seasick? Are you still trying to be brave?"
Nanqiao blinked his eyes, and he wanted to cry but had no tears. "I thought people who don't faint like cars wouldn't get seasick like ships. Maybe the wind and waves are too strong, and the boat is always shaking …"
Yu Cen Ran looked down at the South Bridge in a condescending manner. After a while, a cold sneer seeped out of her lips. Seeing the pitiful appearance of the South Bridge, Yu Cen Ran's heart softened.
This old man lived well on the mainland and bought such a secluded island. Just as Yu Cen Ran was thinking about this, the phone in her suit suddenly vibrated. Yu Cen Ran took the phone and coldly asked, "What's wrong?"
A hearty laugh came from the other end of the phone. "Little Yu, I missed you. Why haven't you arrived yet? I've already sent someone to pick you up. Where are you now?"
South Bridge could hear the laughter on the other end of the phone from far away and thought, This old man is really tough. Just as he was thinking, a speedboat swam over from the distance and stopped in front of them at a very fast speed.
A man in black clothes walked down from the top. He was tall and sturdy, and the scar on his face was terrifying. It seemed that this man was the one the old man had mentioned.
As expected, when Yu Cen Ran saw this person, she went up to him happily and patted his shoulder, "Long time no see, Ah Fa, how have you been?"
A smile appeared on Ah Fa's face. "It has indeed been a long time. What is this?"
As he spoke, he looked at the South Bridge beside Yu Cen Ran. His eyes flashed with amazement as he nodded in response to his polite smile.
Yu Cen Ran introduced him, "This is Brother Ah Fa, my senior brother, Nan Qiao, my wife."
Ah Fa nodded and enthusiastically led the two into the speedboat.
They soon arrived at a private island, the South Bridge looked around, full of strange flowers and plants, green and overflowing, among them there were a few buildings, all of them very artistic, passing by a boardwalk and then walking towards the Gothic church of the nineteenth century, South Bridge never experienced such exotic sceneries, tsk, exclamation.
South Bridge was somewhat curious, because she had also studied design before, and had also studied architecture since she was young. However, this was the first time she had seen a building with so many styles mixed together without any apparent disorder.
Thinking about it this way, she really wanted to see what kind of person the master of this island was.
Ah Fa looked at the South Bridge and said with some curiosity, "Master has been living on this island for a long time. When I first arrived on this island, there was only one courtyard with the style of a field garden that you just saw. Later on, Master studied some buildings, so he built many of these styles.
Yu Cen Ran nodded and smiled, "This old man likes to mess around when he has nothing better to do. He's so old, but he still acts like a child."
"Who's talking bad about me again?"
They had just entered a garden when they heard a vigorous voice.
As soon as she turned her head, she saw a face full of wrinkles, just like a weathered tree. She was shocked and almost fell over.
Yu Cen Ran held onto the South Bridge in time as she sneered, "Old man, don't scare people."
After helping her stand firm on the south bridge, Yu Cen Ran spoke, "This is my master, Nangong Mu Ze."
His master was actually Nangong Muze, the old man in front of him. The South Bridge knew of him, a myth of the art world, and she had even wanted to imitate his painting, but it was difficult to surpass that.
When Nangong Muze saw her dazed look, he felt it was funny. Being stared at so closely made him feel a little unnatural, and he could not bear to watch any longer. This silly girl, she used her walking stick to lightly knock on the South Bridge Head.
"Wake up, little girl!"
The Southern Bridge felt as if a golden star had appeared in its eyes. Only then did it come back to its senses. "This junior, the Southern Bridge is here to greet elder Nangong!"
Nangong Muze glanced at her indifferently, "As a guest, you are here to play. There is no need to be formal."
South Bridge understood. He stopped talking and politely smiled.
Although Mr. Nan was a strange old man, his attainment in the art world was very high. He had won many gold medals in national painting competitions, served as a judge in many large competitions, and had a very high reputation in the art world.
"Come in."
Nangong Muze turned around and walked towards the main hall. As he walked, he smiled, "Little Yu, it's been a long time since we last met. Why are you getting thinner and thinner? I'll tell you not to eat alone."
Yu Cen Ran, "..."
Upon entering the hall, the South Bridge was captivated by the scene in front of them. The outside of the building, which looked like a Gothic church, was unexpectedly decorated with expensive mahogany furniture. The decorations were also made in the Chinese style.
The contrast between the buildings was so great that Nanqiao was extremely excited.
"Geezer, why did you change your architectural style again?"
When Nangong Muze heard him say this, he waved his hand and said, "Changing the style and playing around, I'm already tired of seeing those things!"
Yu Cen Ran was also shocked when she first entered. She couldn't help but marvel at the sight of these houses. They seemed out of place, but in reality they were arranged in accordance with the meaning of gossip.
After chatting for a while longer, the group went to eat, because Minamiya was diligent in maintaining his health and had gone to sleep before 8: 30. Nanqiao was so bored that she sat in the hall, watching television and followed Yu Cen Ran all the way out.
The signal on the private island wasn't very good as it couldn't pick up any channels. After watching for a while, South Bridge was ready to take a bath. The moment he walked into the room, South Bridge saw Yu Cen Ran sitting on the bed, looking at him.
South Bridge wondered, "What?"
Yu Cen Ran laid her hands on the bed. She was in a good mood as she raised her eyebrows. "Isn't your hand injured? You can't touch water, so I can only reluctantly do it for you."
Nanqiao spat and cursed inwardly. Just as he was about to close the door to the bathroom, Yu Cen Ran flashed in.
Nanqiao was completely scared silly. His pupils slightly dilated. "What are you doing? I want to …"
Nanqiao's lips were soft and tender. Yu Cen Ran pulled Nanqiao into her embrace, clenching her fists tightly. Before Nanqiao could react, her petite body was covered up by a man.
A faint smell of tobacco entered his mouth, as he was forced to endure Yu Cen Ran's domineering attitude.
The water in the bathtub was still flowing, but Yu Cen Ran was leaning against the wall of the South Bridge.
The South Bridge recovered from the shock and hurriedly pushed Yu Cen Ran's chest away as he muttered, "Yu Cen Ran, are you crazy? This is your master's territory."
Yu Cen Ran completely ignored her. "Didn't Master go to sleep?"
Nan Qiao's legs went soft, and she even had the urge to die. She exerted more strength in her hands, trying her best to push Yu Cen Ran away. However, he was hugged even tighter.
One night in the spring, in the bathroom …
When he woke up in the morning, he found himself in bed. Yu Cen Ran was already awake. He was lying on the bed, reading a magazine. He was in a great mood.
The South Bridge came out from under the blanket with half a head, and its face became even redder after being nourished. Recalling last night's enthusiasm, the South Bridge blushed and turned over. Yu Cen Ran smiled and came over to hug South Bridge.
After a while, Yu Cen Ran said, "South Bridge, let's have a child."
Nanqiao stared blankly for a moment and didn't say anything. Yu Cen Ran knew that Nanqiao didn't want to, so she felt a little disappointed. She got up and put on her clothes.
There was no water dispenser in the bedroom, so Yu Cen Ran opened the door and after a while, a cup of warm water appeared in her hand. Yu Cen Ran bent down and took out a bottle of pills from her South Bridge bag.
South Bridge glanced at Yu Cen Ran, pursed his lips, and stared at her for a long time. After a while, he dejectedly said, "Can you give me some time? I can't think about this right now."
Yu Cen Ran turned around. She rested her chin on the blanket and whispered, "I'm really sorry."
Yu Cen Ran lowered her head. Her deep gaze made it hard for people to see her emotions. She replied, "It's okay, I'll wait for you."
I will wait for you
Even if you do forget me, you will still wait for me until you fall in love with me again
