Chapter 122: The Entire Planet

*Vishu!*

The Spaceship came out of the Fourth Dimensional Realm, and an enormous planet, at least twenty times bigger than Serfen, appeared in everyone's sight. They had been traveling through Fourth Dimensional Space for almost a month, having passed countless solar systems on the way.

It was obviously Linfel's Spaceship, as well as the other participants, who made it past the fifth test. As far as Linfel's group could see, Spaceships kept coming and going from the thousands of different Space Stations on the top of Space Elevators. They could see only one side of the planet, though. The other side was bound to be just as busy.

The Spaceship flew in the planet's direction before turning to the side and following its circumference. Their journey lasted another hour before the spaceship finally arrived on the other side of the planet. There, the land below seemed completely illuminated. seaʀᴄh thё NovelFire.net* website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

"What is that thing?" Linfel pointed below.

Even though they were so far high in space, they saw a construction that covered tens of thousands of kilometers. It was round with an enormous appeared at the center. On the sides, four needle-like towers pointed in the space's direction. These towers were even taller than any of the Space Elevators, not to mention much thicker.

Alvin also saw that and felt impressed. "I wish I knew..."

They weren't the only ones. The Maguses and Familiars who made it through the test all came from an isolated region of the Ventis Sect Territory. Serfen, Linfel's planet, obviously included. They knew pretty much nothing about the Ventis Sect since none of them ever had the chance to come here.

Alexandra and the other elders were already used to that, so she simply explained. "That is the Wormhole Cannon."

Linfel's interest was immediately picked. "Wormhole Cannon?"

Alexandra nodded. "Anyone intending to travel through the wormhole will have to activate the Cannon to open the passage into the Blackhole. Without a Wormhole Cannon, Wormhole Travel is basically impossible since you would die before getting anywhere near the Wormhole inside the Blackholes."

Linfel couldn't help but feel excited. That was exactly the thing he needed to use to go to the other side of the Universe. "How do we use it to travel? Can I do it?"

"Hahaha!" Alexandra laughed. "Sure. You just need to become a High Elder of the Ventis Sect and pay the price to use the Cannon."

The other elders also smiled. Linfel's words showed his naivety.

Linfel didn't care, though. "What is the price to activate it?"

Alexandra didn't mind telling him. It wasn't any secret anyway. "Magic Stones can only go up to Level Nine. Above it, you would enter the realm of Divine Magic Stones. Anyway, that is not something you can hope to see for many years. All you need to know is that you would need at least a million Level Six Divine Magic Stones to activate the Cannon."

Linfel and the others took a deep breath. How the hell would anyone be able to pay for such a thing. Linfel felt like even if he robbed everyone's Universal Credits, he probably wouldn't have enough to pay for the Cannon.

Still, he wasn't idiot. "That's just the price, right? It is not like you truly gather a million Level Six Divine Magic Stones and feed it to the Cannon."

Alexandra confirmed. "Obviously. How bothersome such a thing would be? The Wormhole Cannon has its own source of Magic Energy that can hold all that energy in a single place for the Cannon's usage. All I did was to give you a number that you could comprehend."

Linfel looked with even more interest. "I see... The Magic Energy is not the normal Magic Energy we use. The source... Is it the Core of the Planet?"

This time, Alexandra was surprised. "Have you read about it before?"

Linfel shook his head. "No. But I'm quite good with Circuitry Rune Arrays and Diagrams. I couldn't think of another source of such abundant energy other than the Sun. This Cannon isn't placed on the Sun, so it could only be using the Planet's Core instead. It is more like the builders had no other choice as they needed something to act as the stabilizer, and a planet was just perfect for it."

"That is also correct," Alexandra commented. Feeling interested, she decided to speak a little bit more. "But it is not like there aren't Wormhole Cannons that use Suns as a source of Energy. It's just that you won't find one in our Galaxy. The technology involved is just too advanced, and the work necessary is something even our Ventis Sect would have a hard time providing.

Perhaps you will be able to see a Wormhole Cannon using the Sun energy one day."

Linfel didn't seem to be bothered by the hurdle to use it at all.

Alvin looked at Linfel, knowing that Linfel wanted to use it, so he asked Alexandra something else. "How often is the cannon activated?"

Alexandra pondered a bit. Every time the Cannon was activated, it could be felt over the entire planet. It wasn't something you could hide anyway. "Even preparing it to open the passage to the Wormholes takes some time, so it usually shoots once every three years. During such time, we have to send everything we intend to send out at once, or it isn't worth the action."

Linfel couldn't help but ask. "What if I just waited for when it activated and took a ride?"

"Hahaha!" Alexandra laughed once again. "Sure, if you want your soul to be destroyed, by all means, give it a try. I'm definitely not stopping you."

"Oh?" Linfel was curious and was about to ask more.

However, Mosie stopped them. "Alright, we are here. You can learn more about the Wormhole Cannon in the future. Once we dock on the Spacestation, just follow me. I'll bring you all to the ground so that you can be registered."

"So when will we enter the Ventis Sect?" Someone else asked, curious.

Mosie shrugged. "You are already here. The entire planet is the Ventis Sect."
