The lower 10th floor was cleared followed by the 11th.

The Boss, however, was nowhere in sight, but they discovered stairs going down to the 12th floor instead.

Luke: “So, I understand that much. But….why are we having a party again?”

Before he knew what was happening, Adventurers gathered around, and soon a merriment of drinks and songs heated up into a festival fever.

They brought kegs of ale from the cafeteria, and some even brought dishes to share with everyone else.

“Why? The 12th floor of course! It’s an excellent occasion to celebrate!”

“Yeah! HAーHA HA HA HA HA!!”

What……wait, are they just here to get free drinks?

I mean……

“Now then, Gov’nor. Here’s the bill.” “Here’s ours.” The two Cafeteria Ladies brought me all the receipts.

Eri: “SーSir Lou Quain, what on earth…. What is going on here?”

Luke: “I have no clue myself. But…..it’s okay. Here, Princess Aires, can you take care of these?”

Eri: “I thought Jopin was a talented accountant, no? With everything going on, I am starting to get overwhelmed.”

Jopin: “Oh, yes, your highness. I served as an accountant for the Marquis family concerning their agricultural business.”

Eri: “Oh, how wonderful! I will be counting on you starting tomorrow!”

Yup, yup. We were able to get an accountant with very little effort.

Luke: “So, where’s the Party that completed the 10th and 11th floor exploration?” “Huh? Oh, they’re probably at the Guild Hall making their report.”

Luke: “What?! So you guys just started this Party without them?!”

“HAーHA HA HA HA HA HA!!”

Urgh! These drunkards!!

I managed to find some who were not completely wasted just yet and heard some rumors that the Adventurers came over as soon as the restrictions on the island visitations were lifted.

Apparently, they are Gold Ranks.

“Oh, hey, speak of the devil.” And as I heard some whispers and murmurs, a Party with 2 men and 2 women appeared.

One was a Beast Race. He had ears and a tail like a dog andーーhuh?

Luke: “Sia, those four, aren’t they…?” Sia: “WHOA～ It’s Latz～”

And Sia immediately scurried towards the Party. Latz was the first to notice Sia’s approach, and after his initial surprise, he smiled, and then jumped in surprise again.

So probably….

The first shock was like “Who’s that?!”

Then, “Oh, aren’t you that girl from a while back?”

And finally, “Wait?! What happened to you?! Why are you so big?!”

It was probably something like that.

”We were not aware that you had come to this island at all.”

It was the Adventurers they met during their trip to the Dungeon on the Intercontinental Pass in the town of Ogyus.

I see. So these are the Gold Rankers.

“Aren’t you the youngin from before? Did you come here to make your fortune too?” Luke: “Ohー …..ummmm, well……actually…I’m sort of……this island’s……umm…”

“Hey, Hawk. You know the Gov’nor?” “ “The Governor?!” ”

The Party all spoke at once as they now looked towards me with troubled smiles.

What amused me more was Latz’ ears perking up and his tail getting bushy with all hairs standing on its ends.

Latz: “WーWait a sec. What? Governor? Huh?” Luke: “Ohー yeahー …..that’s how it is. I’m Lou Quain Tristan. When I met you all, I went by a different name, but it changed after that.”

Latz: “YーYou were a Noble?! Oh, I mean, you were a Noble, sir?”

Luke: “Ohー I don’t care much for formalities. You can speak to me plainly since I’ll be doing the same.”

But the other two men shook their heads and bowed apologetically many times, and the other two women also looked panic-stricken at the scene.

So the man with the shield ー they called him Hawk a moment ago. I reached out to shake his hand.

I guessed that he was the Party Leader.

He reached out to take my hand, but realizing something, he wiped his hand against his pants first and then shook.

Hawk: “IーMy name is Hawk, sir. I am the Heavy Armored Warrior and also the Leader of this Party. Our rank is Gold…….oh wait, did I already say that?” Luke: “I heard. I know Latz from before, but I don’t recognize the two women.”

“AーA pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sir Governor. You surprised me since you looked so young. I am Marina. I’m an archer, but also good with a short sword.”

“IーI am Sara, sir. I am a Priestess. IーIf you are ever injured, please ask for me. I can cast {Healing} to mend your wounds.”

Luke: “Thank you, Sara. Welcome to the Tristan Island. Well, to be honest, we only have the bare minimum amenities though.”

And from the four, I heard about their exploration to the 12th floor.

They told me about the 7th floor ー the floor that used to be the previous Boss’ room. There, Monsters did not spawn, and they did not enter the area either ーー this was something I heard from before.

Hearing the news from the four, a thought suddenly dawned on me.

Luke: “Do you think we can remodel the 7th floor’s former Boss’ room into a rest area for Adventurers?” Sara: “It is already a rest area, Sir Lou Quain.” Luke: “Are people putting up tents?” Marina: “That’s right. We do have a guard on watch just in case, but there are other Parties there too, and only one person needed to stand guard.”

But instead of tents, why not use beds as we do in inns? Can’t we build those?

And the teleportation device to reach the surface remains there as well.

If you make the effort to get to the 7th floor, you can easily return back to the surface.

If we use my Item Bag and carry all the supplies in there, we can make that pretty easily, no?
