23 leaving home chapter-23

As Luther was eating his meal for the day Alex came into the room to come talk with him."Luther I think we have to leave since Zack just saw a massive group of zombies coming around here.There is a big chance they'll try and get in the building"-ALEX

Luther was a bit surprised since he new the building should be fine since him and Zack borded up the entrance.And with Zacks new strength even manged to push a couple if couches and Fridges in front to stop anyone or thing from getting in.So Luther decide to go check and went to the top of the building which they could reach now that they manged to clear out the infected that were already in the building.

Once he pushed the door and went to were Zack and the Box were standing he could start to see large groups of figures moving closer to were they were."hey box thingy how many zombies do you think there are?"-LUTHER

"Well commander from scanning there area and managing to gain access to a near by drone.There a roughly 300 to 500 enemy combatants however with the noise they are creating they may also attract more but only around 50 to 160 more."-BOX SYTEM

All of them frowned at the numbers and they all new what they had to do so they quickly started packing up there supplies and equipment.Since all together with the three of there powers and the help of the Box they would only be able to kill at most 100 zombies.Since they were still new to there skills and the Box had been damaged slightly beacuse of the commander plant trying to break out.

So Once they got to the bottom floor which all together with packing supplies took only an hour long.But they could hear the undead whispers coming their way so they quickly broke down the back entrance barricades.They then quickly ran down the back alley way near the apartment and manged to get on the street with a few zombies noticing there movements.So as they made there way to the second place the said they should of gone which is the forest. They head to kill and stab and slice so zombies who were trying to stop them in there tracks.

Once they got into the forest they walked for another half an hour before setting up camp and making some dinner.They were actually lucky aswell since Alex manged to capture a few birds that they could cook and eat since he used his powers.In the group all three of them had excelled different ways with there powers with Luther being best at controlling plants and zombies whilst Alex was the sharpshooter.Since he had been training with the energy shots and vine whips and Zack was best with strengthening his body and growing armour.Which they could learn more with the practically unlimited time they had now they didn't have to worry about the problems of what use to be everyday life.

So as Zack was making the fire and Alex was setting up the places to sleep Luther was crouching near an old birch tree.And was trying to communicate for the first time and what happened actually shocked him since the Box told him.To talk to the plants as if they were humans and had to be completely trusting and clear of mind but also to keep questions simple so he simply asked.Were the nearest User was since he wondered if there was anyone else like him the tree then opened up a small hole in its centre.And a thin and widdled down branch stretched towards Luther until it turned right with a loud and rough cracking sound.And sprouted 5 leads which meant how far the user was with each leaf being 5 miles and as Luther got more powerful the more detailed information the plants could get and give.

So luckily Luther didn't realy have to worry about any users sneaking up to them in the middle of the night and shooting roots through their heads.So once Luther said his thanks to the tree he walked over to Alex who gave him some slices of bird meat and some vegetables.Whilst they were eating they became quiet until Luther spoke again"I think we should re start again and make our own rules"-LUTHER

Alex coughed up his water whilst sitting on a lot near the fire"wait what you got to be joking"-ALEX

"no I'm not I mean think about it the government gone and we got powers they dreamed of having and with the apocalypse it's a whole new start!"-LUTHER

"Yea but did I think making our own like country or whatever is a bit much plus we don't know maybe the government's will come back together"-ZACK

"Ok fine fine but it's still possible"-LUTHER

The reason for this was mostly beacuse Luther started thinking the worst when it came to the point in the world.Were people would start creating factions and groups and start controlling more and more.So Luther didn't want to be bullied by those stronger than him like before and kill or use him for his powers.Also since he new people wouldn't be ready to make factions yet however with Luther and Alex.And also Zack and the a.i he had a big advantage with all three of there power Alex's memory of the area.Luther's leadership and charisma and Zacks strength and millitary background whilst for the a.i that was obviously Intelligence.

So for now he would keep that dream in his mind however he would make sure to act on it in the future.
