Jake jumped up again, grabbing a low flying vine, and he used it to climb a little, evading the razor like teeth of the dinosaurs by just a few inches.
From above, flaming arrows went down to hit the four dinosaurs, and the arrows suddenly burst like grenades, pushing the monsters away.
Jake took this opportunity to run toward the dinosaurs and he slashed forward.
The HP bars of the dinosaurs were slowly decreasing, inching closer toward the red zone. And at this moment, Jake's sword shone.
"Slash of Hunger!"
He used the attack once more almost immediately after the countdown expired, and the sword hit two of the four dinosaurs.
[Critical Hit! -1724 HP]
[-798 HP]
Unfortunately, only one of these dinosaurs was hit by a critical hit, and it wailed as it fell on the ground, pixelating into nothingness. But the other three dinosaurs were ready to tear apart the one who killed their companion.
Swish!
One arrow flew straight to the eye of the dinosaur with the least HP, the dinosaur which didn't receive a critical hit.
It's growl was high pitched this time, and it fell on the ground as well, the dregs of the HP bar disappearing as it died.
"Two more to go." Jake nodded.
He continued to run toward the dinosaurs that were trying to put a distance between them and Jake.
"Myriad! Start changing your position. Travel through the trees! I need to you keep your eyes out for any other dinosaur that might come here." Jake shouted as he kept giving chase.
But the dinosaurs suddenly stopped moving, and they looked up at the trees. Then, they looked back at Jake, growling at him.
"Oh, you clever girls. You wanted to lose Myriad Arrows. Damn, I never expected that monsters this weak would be this clever." Jake said as he took a step back.
The dinosaurs weren't going to leave him though. Not when they had this wonderful opportunity.
Their mouths were wide open and jumped at Jake, trying to tear him apart.
"Reflect!" Jake grit his teeth and activated his final card in the bag. The dinosaurs flew back the moment that their mouths touched Jake's armor.
[Critical Hit! -2003 HP]
[Critical Hit! -2105 HP]
Two critical hits landed both of these monsters in the red zones. And at this critical moment, two arrows whooshed by Jake's head and landed on both of the dinosaurs.
They seemed like ordinary arrows, but the moment that the arrows dug into the dinosaurs, the arrow bottoms suddenly lit up.
Boom!
Both of the dinosaurs suddenly blew up. This was a critical hit for sure.
"And the Archer of Doom finally shows his advantages. I did the right thing giving Myriad Arrows this Epic class. He is really the right one to use this class." Jake smiled.
Myriad Arrows appeared next to him soon enough.
"We got them all, huh? What about the loot? Let us hope that they drop some good loot." Myriad Arrows said as he walked toward one of the dinosaurs, looking at what it dropped.
There was just one silver coin, a few common items, and a few teeth from the dinosaurs. Rare grade materials that could be used in item making.
"Grab whatever you can, honestly. These dinosaurs are pretty good materials. Once they die, their entire body can be used as material." Jake said.
"But these two dropped barely anything." Myriad Arrows said.
"Because you blasted the whole thing to bits, probably. We should look at the ones that we killed at first." Jake said.
Myriad Arrows and Jake walked to the tree that they first climbed. A few items were on the ground, but the quality of these items was much better than the ones that Myriad Arrows killed.
Or rather, the quality of the items of the dinosaur that Jake killed was better.
This was the effect the priest's necklace.
"Check Status." Jake said as he looked through his stats to see if he had any attribute points to assign. At this point, he wanted to max his stats so that he would have a better chance of surviving.

Jake rubbed his hands as he looked at his stats. He had a good number of stats that he could assign, but he knew exactly which one that he needed to focus on.
He put thirty points into agility, changing it to forty six, and saved the remaining fifteen. He never would know which stat would be more important at what time.
These free attribute points would come in handy when the time came.
But his eyes couldn't help but go to the skill points. He had a staggering total of… two.
That was pitiful. Anyone who had played this much, used the class exclusive skills this much, would have at least ten to twelve skill points. And that was a bare minimum.
But he had just two. This was the problem of the legendary class, but when the time came, these two skill points were definetly going to help and make the difference worth it.
