Jake and Myriad Arrows were ushered into a private room. This was the same setting that Jake was in when he deposited the part of the divine item here.
"What do you wish to deposit here this time, Baron?" A plump man with a moustache, different from the person who had first taken care of Jake's accounts, sat in front of them.
Jake nodded at Myriad Arrows.
One by one, the five eggs of the second day, and the single egg of the final one filled the room. These eggs were as big as humans, and they easily filled the private room.
"I will make sure that these treasures will be catalogued and put in your locker." The plump man nodded.
Jake was satisfied now. With that out of the way, they headed out of the bank.
"Are you not going to put that, you know, the crystal in there as well? It is pretty precious, far more valuable than anything else. Or are you going to use it to get to the Epic Class?" Myriad Arrows asked.
"No. I have no interest in getting this epic class. But there is someone that I know who needs this class. I am going to give that person this epic class." Jake said.
"Someone in the guild?"
"No. Someone that I owe too much to." Jake shook his head.
"I see." Myriad Arrows didn't push too much. He knew that there were boundaries that had to be respected.
And so, the duo started walking toward the store.
"All of the Epic Weapons that we cannot use, we will just put in the guild. So many epic items in display will surely incite a few people to join the guild. And work on the contribution points system. You don't need to work on any raids for the time being. As long as you can finish the contribution points system for the guild, you can get a month long vacation for all I care." Jake said.
Both of them stopped in front of their familiar home.
As they entered this place, Jake saw that the numbers were still quite healthy, even though the two bedrocks of the guild had disappeared for five days without saying anything.
"What do you think that they did in the past few days? My money's on nothing." Jake smiled.
"You underestimate them too much. If I was to say anything, then they worked on the raid a little more, and they have some really good loot to present to you." Myriad Arrows smiled.
"If that is the case, I will gladly give you my money." Jake said.
"Wait. How much is the bet for?" Myriad Arrows stopped him and asked.
"Hmm. Interesting. Do you want to make this a serious bet? Fine. Ten Gold coins. Can you afford it?"
"I can. Take it out of my contract or something if I lose. Not like I care about the money too much. But either way, let us see who is right." Myriad Arrows rubbed his hands.
"Hold your horses. I am done. You may have had a break, but I was awake for not just five days. I was in the game for a week and half already, with only a small gap in between. I need to get rest." Jake shook his head and said.
"Yeah. I am also exhausted." Myriad Arrows nodded.
"Fine then. I'll go to the top floor and log off from there." Jake said.
The final flight of stairs was torture to Jake, who wanted nothing more to leave everything and sleep.
When he finally got to the final stretch, he saw that there was someone in front of the guard.
"You have got to be kidding me. I was gone for five days. Who the hell is still standing in front of my door?" Jake grumbled.
Hearing this, the person turned around. Jake recognized him.
"You are a part of my guild. A guild elder. Faceless Darkness. Yes. Myriad Arrows told me about you. What do you want now?" Jake asked.
"Forgive me for coming here, Guild Leader. I am here to report you the details of what we have done during the day. I came here everyday, but it seems like for the last few days, you were a little busy?" Faceless Darkness said.
"Hahaha! So you actually did something when we were gone." Jake burst into laughter.
"Ten gold coins gone to the drain. But I don't care. What is ten gold coins when I have a good guild." Jake said.
"Good. I really like you. Myriad Arrows was right. You are a good and trustable person. But I am way too tired to handle anything regarding the guild right now. For the last few days, I have consolidated the guild's power. Don't worry. With what I have done, the guild is going to get strong enough." Jake smiled.
"Take a small break. I am going to need a good break. Maybe a day? Yeah. Take a sixteen hour break, all of you. Go sleep. From now on, the guild is going to go through its first proper expansion." Jake smiled.
He nodded at the guard in front of him, who moved.
"Guild Leader, You mean we have to take a sixteen hour break right now?" Faceless Darkness asked.
"Yes. Go ahead and take it. I am in a really good mood today. A lot of good things happened." Jake said.
He walked through the floor and slumped on his chair before opening the right menus.
"Log Out."
[Logging Out]
Jake's vision blurred, and the next moment, all he could see was a blank screen.
He tried moving, but everything pained.
He was back in the real world, but his body was so tired that he couldn't even move.
But eventually, he used all of his strength to remove himself from the pod and move a few steps to his bed.
The moment that he fell on it though, he fell to a deep sleep. He closed his eyes, and then, all thinking ceased.
