Chapter 104 [Bonus PS 3/4] Starting The Third Simulation In Martial Arts Fantasy World

Chapter 104 [Bonus Chapter PS 3/4] Starting The Third Simulation In Martial Arts Fantasy World

"There are only two useful talents that can improve my power or skill set which are the purple-grade Why Are You Running talent and the gold-grade You Can't See Me talent."

Seeing those two talents presented by the system, Alister's eyes lit up in excitement.

He didn't know if the system had a good sense of humor or not, but he definitely wanted those two talents!

After all, those two talents were memes that he had encountered in his past life. He found it comedic if his enemy started to run away from him but he used the Why Are You Running (Purple) talent which made them halt in place.

The fact that it could ignore speed and laws of physics meant that it was likely pressing a pause button on them, preventing them from running. When Alister thought of that, he realized another problem.

"Aside from this talent being useful for preventing my enemies from leaving if they used pure speed to run, it can't be used against stronger opponents since if I am at a disadvantage in a battle, it's they who would run but me."

"But I have to say, the gold-grade You Can't See Me talent compensates for it since if my enemies don't run away from me but chase me instead, I can avoid their pursuit by hiding my presence and making myself invisible. It can improve my ability to flee from a battle by a whole level."

Due to his cautiousness, Alister preferred abilities that could save his life or grant him methods that could save his life. After all, only when he was alive could he take care of his loved ones as well as enact his revenge against Sophia Frost.

"Wait, technically, if my opponents chased me by running instead of flying or teleporting, can't I use this talent to stall them? It's much more useful than I have expected."

Knowing the usefulness of those two talents, Alister already chose the Why Are You Running (Purple) and You Can't See Me (Gold) talents.

Because of that, he was left with choosing his third simulation talent but he was faced with a slightly difficult choice.

"The white-grade Bad Liar talent is definitely a damn curse so I won't choose it. Not only is it white-grade, but it's even worse than the white-grade Joke Master talent that I had encountered in my first simulation in the zombie world."

With the Bad Liar (White) talent being removed from his options, Alister only needed to choose the lesser evil between the Rock, Paper, Scissors (Green) and Driven By Justice (Blue) talent.

"The blue-grade Driven By Justice talent will undoubtedly change my personality to be that of someone who is driven by justice. That wouldn't be a problem if it was in the simulation but if it was in the full-dive simulation, it would rewrite my personality and that would be a problem."

"And even if it was in the normal simulation, it might also be a problem if I obtained an S-grade simulation score which would force me to receive all of the rewards presented by the system."

However, when Alister mentioned that, he received a reply from his system.

[No worries, host. The system has already thought of that possibility. If the host obtained an S-grade simulation score and the host has a negative talent, the system will give the host the option of whether to receive that talent or not.]

When Alister received that reply from the system, he couldn't help but be moved to tears and give the system a "nice guy" card!

The system was so caring and useful that he found it frightening but also reassuring.

But even if he received that reply from the system, Alister still wouldn't choose the Driven By Justice (Blue) talent.

"Although the blue-grade driven by justice talent is a grade higher than the green-grade Rock, Paper, Scissors talent, at least the Rock, Paper, Scissors talent won't change my personality."

"Furthermore, as the description of the Rock, Paper, Scissors talent, it is comparable to a red-grade talent in terms of its absolute concept. So just having this talent can allow me to absolutely win the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors."

"Who knows? It might prove to be useful in the future. At least it's better than the Driven By Justice talent since no way in hell would I fucking want to be driven by justice. I only want to drive by interest and benefits."

With that in mind, Alister chose the Rock, Paper, Scissors (Green), Why Are You Running? (Purple), and You Can't See Me (Gold) talents.

[It has been detected that the host's Toddler (Purple) talent can be used to start the simulation when the host is a toddler, specifically 16 years before the world's original timeline.]

[Will the host transmigrate in the world as a toddler or as the host's original age?]

"Use my original age."

-Ding!

[It has been detected that the host's Heir Of A Top Force (Gold) talent can be used to start the simulation with the host having a random top force as his background.]

[Will the host transmigrate in the world with or without the random top force as his background?]

"With the random top force. I want to test whether the random top force background is the same as the previous simulation or not."

-Ding!

[The Toddler (Purple) talent will not be used in this simulation and the host will transmigrate to his original age in the original timeline. Furthermore, the Heir Of A Top Force (Gold) talent will be used to generate a random powerful background for the host.]
