Anyway, the chances of her being able to rescue Luo Bailing are slim, moreover……

In the original plot, Luo Bailing could be said to be the strongest catalyst for causing the female protagonist’s death, dealing with only one Si Jinze was already enough to make her head hurt, she doesn’t want to let out another uncertain factor to torment herself!

1. For both revised and original the line went like this: “Ran Muxun stiffened up for a moment, then quickly returned to normal, groping around to climb onto the bed then falling asleep, as if there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary just now.”

When the author made changes I’m not sure how thoroughly she checked for how it would flow with the rest of the story, I checked and double checked, and she really does get into bed in both versions, which makes sense for the original but not the revised and in the current context. So I changed it to “pretending to continue sleeping“

Hopefully it’s an alright change to make.

I really like this line, so I’m just translating it for fun. It really captures the essence of this arc lmao. Ran Muxun is changing into her pyjamas, trying to pretend that Si Jinze was not literally in the room perving at her, he’s super horny, and then BAM, the mood changes.
