Chapter 1283: Both Are Not Fine

Jiang Yuyan’s home. 

San Zemin and Xiao Min stayed in the home as their boss was there. When Lu Lijun was admitted to the hospital, San Zemin was informed by his men, but he didn’t tell Jiang Yuyan after discussing with Xiao Min to let her rest. 

Both were sure that something terrible had happened between Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun that Lu Lijun ended up in the hospital and their boss had locked herself in the room. She didn’t open the door for anyone and even told the butler to not disturb her when she went to her room. 

It was breakfast time, and Jiang Yuyan still didn’t come downstairs. 

“Is the boss not awake yet?’ Xiao Min asked the butler. 

“I knocked on the door but did not get any reply,” the butler replied, “I thought to follow her instructions, but now I am worried.”

Xiao Min stood up, “Get the keys.” He looked worried too. 

It was not new for them when once in a while, Jiang Yuyan asked them not to disturb her, and then she would come out of the room the next day for breakfast, so no one gave much thought about it, but she didn’t come out, it was worrisome.

The butler brought keys, and they went upstairs. Xiao Min knocked on the door a few times and even called for Jiang Yuyan, “Boss, are you awake?”

There was no reply even after trying for a long time. Xiao Min got the keys from the butler and opened the door. The three entered the room, only to see the bed was in a mess as the bedsheet, pillows, and the quilt were scattered and lay on the floor. 

It scared the hell out of the three men, and they entered the room only to find Jiang Yuyan on the floor. 

“Call the doctors,” Xiao Min exclaimed loudly as he rushed towards Jiang Yuyan. San Zemin did the same while the butler knew what to do and went to call for the doctor. He dialed the number of doctors who were looking after Jiang Yuyan as their patient for the past ten years. 

Xiao Min picked up Jiang Yuyan in his arms and took to the bed while Xiao Min got the pillows from the floor. Xiao Min shook her face, “Boss, can you hear me? Are you fine?” 

He panicked and didn’t know what to do. Jiang Yuyan’s breathing seemed normal, but he was sure she had another attack in the night and tried to bear with it on her own. 

The servants tidied up the room while others waited for the doctor. An Tian and the other doctor arrived there, and San Zemin led their way upstairs. 

“What happened?” An Tian asked. 

Xiao Min explained the situation he had witnessed the moment he stepped inside the room. The other doctor examined Jiang Yuyan and injected it with IV and medicines. Physically she was fine, but mentally she was exhausted. 

Once the other doctor left, An Tian talked with Xiao Min. 

“Did something happen before you brought her back home last night?” An Tian asked. 

“She was with Lu Lijun,” Xiao Min informed, “San brought her back here, and I had to stay back to look after Lu Lijun.

“What happened to him?” An Tian asked. 

“His hand was injured, and then I had to ask Noah to take care of him,” Xiao Min replied, “He is in the hospital too.”

An Tian let out a deep sigh, and this was the first time Xiao Min saw An Tian looking worried, “Why did he go to the hospital?”

“He drank,” Xiao Min answered. 

“Hmm?” An Tian could only nod and look in deep thoughts. 

“She will be awake by noon. Inform me, and I’ll be here,” An Tian left to go to the hospital to see Lu Lijun.

When An Tian reached there, Lu Feng and Lu Han were already present. 

“How is he?” An Tian asked. 

“Fine, but in fact not at all fine,” Lu Feng replied. 

An Tian informed them about Jiang Yuyan, “She is not fine either,” An Tian informed. 

“What happened to her,” Jiang Yang, who heard them, asked.

“You already know her condition. She got the same thing again,” An Tian replied. 

“I need to see her,” Jiang Yang said as he was ready to leave. 

“You have been holding back for so many years. Don’t just spoil it now. Despite her asking me not to, I informed you about her in the past as you should be aware of her condition but to not make me regret that decision,” An Tian countered. 

Jiang Yang was frustrated over not being able to be by her side even once for all these years, “She might need me.”

“If you go to her, she will not allow me to be her doctor. Do you want it?” An Tian asked and then looked at Lu Feng and Jiang Yang, “I expect both of you to be calm.”

Lu Han, who was there, was unaware of what was going on and asked, “Will anyone tell me what is happening here? What happened to Yuyan?”

Lu Feng explained Jiang Yuyan’s condition to Lu Han. 

“So all these years, no one knows it. You guys kept it from our family even?” Lu Han questioned. 

“You know her well. If we had meddled, she would have kept it all hidden. It was better this way,” Lu Feng countered. 

The atmosphere turned tense, and no one had anything to say as if they had given up in front of Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan. 

“What to do now?” Lu Han asked. 

“Let them wake up and then we can decide,” Lu Feng replied. 

“First Lian and now these two. Don’t know why all these things are happening at once,” Lu Han sighed out. 

“I am worried Yuyan will take any wrong decision,” Jiang Yuyan commented. 

“Thant’s highly possible,” Lu Feng added. 

“So she agreed to meet Alex because of Lu Lijun,” Lu Han asked. 

Lu Feng could only nod as there was nothing much to say. 

Lu Han could say nothing as just like others, Lu Lijun and Yuyan both were important to him.
