Chapter 1311 Wish From The Past　　Once Jiang Yuyan left, Lu Lijun looked at his family members and even at Jiang Yuyan’s parents who were shocked and didn’t know what to say to him. They just wished if their son Jiang Yang was here, it would have been better and he could have followed his sister. Seeing how angry she was, they could not dare say anything to her, and moreover, the sudden revelation from Lu Lijun shocked them to be able to say a word to her. 

Lu Feng himself didn’t know how to handle the situation and stood up to say something to Lu Lijun or rather take him away from here. He knew it was not easy for Lu Lijun to say it like this either. He did it when he finally lost his calm and must be scared inside thinking the consequences after this and what Jiang Yuyan would do but he had to act tough

Before Lu Feng could say a word Lu Lijun turned to elder Lu. “Grandpa!”

Elder Lu looked at him helplessly as he was trying to grasp the situation. Lu Lijun went to elder Lu who was sitting on the sofa and kneeled in front of him with his head lowered. 

”Grandpa!”

Elder Lu waited for him to talk.

With his head lowered, Lu Lijun spoke, “In the past, Grandpa promised to give me something that I want. At that time, I didn’t ask for anything but today I want something from you.”

Elder Lu gulped anxiously as he remembered it as well and only looked at his grandson who lifted his head up to look at his grandpa and said, “Don’t worry grandpa, I won’t ask you to give me Yuyan because she is not a thing that anyone would give her to me.”

Elder Lu Felt relieved as he was in a dilemma. The two, Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun, both were important to him and asked, “Then what do you want?”

”I only want our family to not oppose my feelings for Yuyan. I love her grandpa and I want everyone to accept what I feel for her,” Lu Lijun replied. 

Elder Lu was silent for a while as he looked at his other family members who were the same as him- speechless and shocked. 

Elder Lu finally spoke, “Lijun, I don’t want you or her to be hurt. Both of you have gone through a lot and I want you two to be happy. You know just like you nothing was easy for her.”

”I know grandpa. That’s why I want her to be happy now. I promise you, she will be happy with me. I will never let her suffer anymore. I just need some time to pursue her,” Lu Lijun replied. 

”You can’t force her to accept you if she doesn’t want to,” elder Lu said. As elder Lu was talking to him, there was no need for others to say a word to him.

”I won’t, grandpa. Trust me she will come to me. She just needs to realize I am the only one for her. She can’t be happy with someone else but me.”

”She didn’t look happy about what you said,” Ning Jiahui said as she was worried about what Jiang Yuyan’s parents would say.

”I know, mother but it won’t be the same. She needs time and she will accept me for sure. I just wish you all to not oppose me in what I want to do. Just give me and her some time.”

”Lu Lijun, but…”

”My blessings are with you but I wish you to be patient. I will be happy if she finds her happiness again and if it’s with you.” Grandma Zhao Shuang who was silent till now, finally spoke as she interrupted Ning Jiahui.

”Thank you, grandma,” Lu Lijun said while others could only look at the elder lady not knowing what to say. When everyone was still conflicted over it, the older lady was the one to agree to it immediately and confidently. 

Grandma was not the person who would say anything without thinking about it clearly. 

”Dear, are you sure?” elder Lu asked. 

”Hmm!” Grandma nodded. “Give him some time. Not like we will force her. I trust Lu Lijun. He is like Lu Qiang and only the one like him can understand her and take care of her.” Grandma looked at Mo Ruolan and Jiang Peizhi, “You can say if anything is there.”

The two could not oppose what grandma said and Jiang Peizhi replied, “If this is what mother wants but if Yuyan still doesn’t agree to it, I will take her with me to the USA. If she doesn’t want to, I won’t send her back here.”

Though Jiang Peizhi agreed to what grandma said out of the love and respect for her, he could not ignore the father inside him who only wished for the happiness of his daughter. He would give a chance to Lu Lijun but nothing could force his daughter to stay here and agree to it. She was free to do what she wanted. 

”I will do my best but in the end, she still wishes to leave me. I won’t stop her,” Lu Lijun assured. 

Jiang Peizhi didn’t reply to this or no other family members said anything. They didn’t wish to say yes and could not say no due to Lu Lijun’s wish with his grandpa. If elder Lu had granted his wish that no family member would oppose him, then others could not go against elder Lu’s words. 

Lu Jinhai, who was just silent till now, finally spoke, “Lu Feng, check where Yuyan is.”

”I already asked San Zemin. She is fine,” Lu Feng replied. 

Lu Jinhai nodded and looked at Lu Lijun, “You can go to your room.”

There was nothing more to talk about so Lu Lijun nodded and stood up as he went to his room

Once Lu Lijun left, Lu Jinhai looked at his friend apologetically, “I apologize for all this, Jiang Peizhi.”
