Chapter 1345 I Want To Be With You　　Inside the ambulance, Lu Lijun was sitting next to Yuyan who was lying unconscious on the stretcher. Though she lost her consciousness, she didn’t let go of Lu Lijun’s hand and he could feel she instead held it tighter. Lu Lijun was holding her hand in his both to make her feel assured that he was next to her. 

He remembered the way she looked at him before going unconscious. It was as if she was holding her last bit of energy only to be able to see him. That worry and anxiousness in her eyes disappeared the moment she saw him as if she had found something more valuable than the lost treasure. 

Her words ‘Don’t leave me’ tug at his heart. There was a desperate pleading in those words. ‘What happened to her suddenly? Was she scared for me?’ did it remind her of the accident in the past?’

He looked at her bare feet. They were hurt and had light scratches and bruises that showed she ran bare feet for a long. He felt hurt seeing her like this.

They reached the hospital where Jake had already arranged everything for them as the VIP suite was given to them. 

The doctors attended to her while Xiao Min was busy talking to someone on the phone. Lu Lijun went to him and heard him, “Doctors are checking her now. I feel the same as you said, An Tian.”

He then heard something and said, “Are you in England? When did you come?”

He got the reply and said, “Yes. Please do so. Be here as soon as you can.”

Xiao Min hung up the call and looked at Lu Lijun who asked him, “An Tian?”

Xiao Min nodded and said as he knew Lu Lijun was aware of Jiang Yuyan’s medical condition, “It would be better if he is here?”

Lu Lijun agreed as An Tian knew her condition well. 

After a long time, the doctor came out of the room and Lu Lijun asked, “How is she?”

”She seems to be shocked by today’s accident. She looks exhausted and needs rest. Once she is awake, we can see how exactly it has affected her. But I guess there is nothing much to worry about,” the doctor replied. 

The doctor left and Lu Lijun entered the patient’s room. He went to the bed where he saw she was in a deep sleep. Her wet clothes were changed into fresh hospital clothes and she looked clean. He sat in the chair next to her bed silently, not knowing what to do.

Jake Noah and Xiao Min entered inside to see Jiang Yuyan. “She is fine. Don’t worry,” Noah said as he put his hand on Lu Lijun’s shoulders. 

”Your clothes are still wet. You should change. I have arranged it for you,” Jake informed and passed him one bag. 

Lu Lijun agreed as he had to be by her side and in good condition. He went to the bathroom while they heard Xiao Min, “You two should go as well. I am here with them.”

Jake and Noah left while Xiao Min stayed by Jiang Yuyan’s side. Lu Lijun came out after some time freshening up and changing into new clothes. 

”You can leave Xiao Min. I’ll stay with her,” Lu Lijun instructed. 

”I am fine,” Xiao Min replied, not willing to leave. 

Lu Lijun didn’t insist as he knew Xiao Min’s worry. Moreover, being with her for so many years, Xiao Min knew more about Jiang Yuyan’s health issues. Keeping him around was good if there was something.

”Fine,” Lu Lijun agreed.

Just then there was a movement in bed and they saw Jiang Yuyan murmuring something. She looked restless as the beads of sweat started to appear on her forehead. Both hurried towards the bed. 

Before Lu Lijun could act, Xiao Min held her hand and said, “It’s fine. Everything is fine,” he continued repeating as if he had done it so many times and he knew what she needed at this moment. 

”No…don’t leave me…get out of that car…don’t please…” she continued repeating while Lu Lijun could only be there, not knowing what to do. 

She didn’t look like she would be calm anytime soon. Lu Lijun sat at the edge of the bed and said, “Call for the doctor. I’ll take care of her.” He didn’t know why but he thought he could calm her down. 

Xiao Min did so as he pressed the button to call for the doctor and went out to check if any nurse was nearby by. 

Lu Lijun held Jiang Yuyan’s trembling hand with one hand and caressed her cheeks with the other hand, “I am here. I will never leave you. Just don’t push me away and I will be with you. We will always be together.”

She seemed to calm down a little. He leaned down and pecked on her forehead and said in a low voice, “You don’t know how much I love you to even think about going away from you. It kills me inside. I want to be with you, Yuyan.” 

He knew she couldn’t hear it for his own sake he said it. He acted as if he did not care for her but these were the true feelings buried in his heart and he wished to tell them to her though she could not hear him.

”I love you, Yuyan. I love you more than anyone has ever loved someone,” his face was so close to her as his nose brushed hers. She seemed to be calm and Lu Lijun felt relieved. 

Just then there was a knock on the door and someone entered the room. Lu Lijun looked at the person. That was An Tian followed by Xiao Min. seeing him so close to Jiang Yuyan, the other two acted as if there was nothing different and went towards the bed Jiang Yuyan was lying in. 

Lu Lijun moved back while still continuing to stay at the edge of the bed and holding her hand. An Tian checked her, “She looks fine now.”
