It’s been a long since Lu Lijun told her that he will accompany her but he didn’t come so she turned to look at him as her hands tried to get hold of her hair that moved along the breeze. 

At the same time Lu Lijun, who finished his sketch, looked at her and that view caught his eyes. That hair she was trying to hold but still, the few hair strands continued to come in front of her face. He wished he could draw her like this but the thought, ‘Every side of her is always captured in my mind. I can draw it later.’

She realized Lu Lijun was drawing and signalled him to bring that book to her. 

Lu Lijun didn’t plan to draw it to show her. It was just his personal thing that he always ended up doing. Drawing her was like his innate habit. But as she had asked, he went to her with that sketchbook. 

She was excited to see what he had drawn and took that sketchbook from him. As expected of her, she saw he had drawn her. Though it was a simple sketch he drew faster, it was beautiful.

”You are an inborn artist,” she said as she knew even when he was a kid, he could draw like an expert adult.

”I am when it comes to you,” he replied. 

Such a smooth flirt!

Jiang Yuyan cleared her throat to ignore what he said and flipped the page of that sketchbook but it was empty. There was only that one sketch he had just made. But just before that page, she noticed the signs of previous pages being torn.

She knew what must have happened as Noah had told her he tore the pages after every single time he drew her, “Where did other pages go?” 

Lu Lijun fell silent for a moment and said, “I tore them.” Lying was never his thing. 

”Why?” she asked, hoping to hear why he tore pages after he drew her. 

”I just know, it was a bad decision to tear them,” he replied, not willing to tell her anything. 

”Why?” she asked again as she was yet to get her answer. 

”It took me time to realize that whatever you do, you can’t run away from reality. Tearing those pages was one of the failed attempts of running,” he answered honestly but he didn’t know Jiang Yuyan knew what he had drawn on those pages and she could understand the meaning of what he was trying to say. 

Noah was right, he fell for her even before he knew he did.

She thought about what he had just said. It was the same for her. It also took her time to realize she can’t run away from reality then whatever she tried. And the reality of her life was- She had fallen for him even though she tried to stop her and denied her feelings millions of times.

Just then they saw a car entering the main gate. It was Lu Feng and Jiang Yang who returned. They stepped out of the car and saw Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun, standing in the Gallery upstairs and were looking at them.

As if Lu Lijun was waiting for this, he smirked and said to Jiang Yuyan, “I think you should spend some time with your brother.”

She didn’t know why he was so willing to let her go to her brother while the other time he looked like he could not stand seeing her brother with her. She signalled her brother to come upstairs. 

Just then one more car arrived and Noah and Xiao Min stepped out of the car. Lu Feng and Jiang Yang looked at them as the other two greeted them with light nods. 

Just then Martha came out of the home and happily looked at them, “You all are back at the same time? It’s good. I have prepared the special tea that is famous in my hometown. I am sure you all will love it.”

Noah smiled at her, “Whatever you make, is always so tasty, Martha. I will prefer some snacks as well. I am starving.”

”Of course. I have already prepared something,” she said and looked at Jerome, “How about we arrange it there at the border of the garden? From there, the view of the river is nice and tea will taste even better.”

”That’s a good idea,” Jerome replied and asked, “How about we call Forth Young Master and young mistress?”

”Jerome should start calling her fourth young mistress already,” Noah mumbled with a sigh that Lu Feng who was standing next to him heard and smiled as he replied, “True.” 

”All of you can go there, I will call them,” Martha said and left to go inside. 

Soon Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun reached the garden as Lu Lijun walked slowly with her. 

”It feels good to be out,” Jiang Yuyan commented. 

”Once you are completely fine, I’ll take you where you want to go,” he replied.

His reply to her every comment always left her speechless. 

They reached the border of the garden that was closer to the river. It was the best place in the garden and felt so calm and pleasant and fresh. 

Jiang Yang came to his sister who just reached there, “How are you now? Is it fine for you to walk this long?”

”I am fine,” she replied. 

Jiang Yang pulled out the chair for her to sit in while Lu Lijun went to his brother, leaving these siblings together. 

Lu Feng gave him a suspicious look, “Since when have you turned so considerate?”

Lu Lijun smirked as he sat next to his brother, “Just from this moment.”

Noah, who was next to him, heard it and said to Lu Feng, “I see the Little Devil inside him coming out….”

”What is this on your neck?”

They heard Jiang Yang’s worried voice and Noah stopped talking to see what had happened.
