The pregnant woman was sent into the delivery room and the man stood outside, left to wait anxiously. She took a secret glance at the man, she would never forget that moment, even after 21 years. That man was Tang Mo’er’s biological father, Lu Jinwen.

The beginning of it all, happened in the Capital’s hospital. 21 years ago. Huo Yanmei had approached Tang Hai regarding a switch of babies. Qi’er would be taken care of by the Lu family, while Mo’er would be with the Tang family. Tang Hai had agreed to her terms.

As a result of the agreement, Huo Yanmei made use of all her connections to enable Tang Hai to rise through the ranks and become the Mayor of Karghalik.

Tang Hai had also withdrawn from his recollection. With a heavy sigh, he shut his eyes and murmured, “That decision is the one decision I will forever be regretful about.”

After he had said his piece, he picked up his blazer and walked towards the doors.

“Tang Hai, please don’t leave!” Qin Yawen hugged Tang Hai from behind.

Tang Hai froze, he then shouted in an indifferent tone, “Mrs Han, let go!”

“I’m not letting go, Tang Hai, do you really not love me anymore? I don’t believe you. I know I’m still the one you love the most.”
