How was it possible for him to be fine, his body is scalding hot!

Lu Yan turned around, his bloodshot eyes riveted on the wolves. They might have realized that he was a force to be reckoned with and they didn’t dare to approach him.

Rolling his sleeves up, Lu Yan wiped away the blood on his face. He glared ferociously at the remaining wolves, baring his teeth like a beast and his eyes were exuding a dangerous aura.

He stretched out his index finger and beckoned at the wolves.

Roar.

The wolves were successfully triggered.

The atmosphere was getting more tense and the air seemed to spark with energy.

“Lu Yan.” An’an clung onto his shirt. He was having a high fever and not in a good state at all. It was far too dangerous for him to be dealing with a pack of wolves.

Lu Yan stretched out his hand and held onto hers. “Be good and stay here. Don’t distract me, hm?”

An’an nodded her head. “Mm!”

The wolves were ready and they pounced over, Lu Yan quickly got up and charged over.

The wolves were quick but Lu Yan was even faster in speed. In a continuous, fluid motion, he slit the throats of two wolves with his knife. But then, one wolf had pounced onto him and bit his abdomen.

“Lu Yan!”

“Master Yan!”

An’an and Tang Mo’er screamed at the same time.

The wolf’s teeth had already bit down hard on his abdomen and Lu Yan held onto it, yanking on it forcefully.

Roar! The wolf screamed in agony. Lu Yan had pulled out one of its teeth.

He lifted his knife and stabbed the wolf.

Blood.

There was a large pool of blood on the ground.

There was only one wolf left standing. The wolf glared at Lu Yan and Lu Yan reciprocated.

He was exuding a menacing aura that was as dangerous as a desperate wolf himself.

His breathing was heavy and the air was hot on her skin. His lips were already peeling and it hurt for her to kiss him, it didn’t feel nice but it tugged at An’an’s heartstrings.

She was kissing his lips, wanting to help lessen his agony.

She couldn’t do anything to help him, the only thing she could do was to kiss him.

Lu Yan threw away the knife and he held onto the back of An’an’s head. He pressed her closer and continued kissing her even more passionately.

He didn’t need anything else, all he needed was for her to continue kissing him.

Lu Yan extended his tongue inside her mouth and An’an reciprocated shyly.

He felt himself being surrounded by something sweet and warm, it was such a wonderful sensation, she was going to take his soul away.

Puff, the tooth was pulled out. Tang Mo’er instantly pressed down on Lu Yan’s wound to stop the bleeding.

It was so painful, Lu Yan groaned and his other leg fell on the ground too, so that he was kneeling on both knees.

An’an hugged his neck and her tears went inside both of their mouths. She extended her tongue inside his mouth.

Lu Yan closed his eyes, her hands still in her hair. Her hair had tangled up in his hands and he reciprocated the kiss with difficulty.

He could sense her insecurities and was replying her—-An’an, don’t be afraid.

At the next moment, Lu Yan collapsed in An’an’s arms.

He had collapsed.

An’an’s pupils dilated with horror, she was shocked, terrified and insecure. She had never seen him collapse throughout their many years of living together.

To her, he was infallible.

It turned out he was also capable of collapsing.

An’an held onto the back of his head and placed him in her arms. “Lu Yan, don’t... die! Ah Yan...”

She burst into a fresh wave of hot tears.

Did he die?

Was he dead?

She was afraid, extremely terrified.

She only had him and she only wanted him. He had already fused into her blood and bones, he had become an inseparable part of her life.

When he kicked the human peddler’s door open when she was six years old, she was a lost cause. He had entered the place wearing those heavy black boots. Back then, he was already so tall, he seemed to have been sent from the heavens and she needed to lift her head to look at him.

That one gaze, it was destined that their lives were going to be entangled from that moment.

It was inevitable.
