Lin Xuanji’s lashes fluttered while she gaped at him. W-What did he just say?

Lu Jinwen watched her gape at him in silence. Her skin was radiant and supple, she was just like a rose that just bloomed. The corners of his lips kicked up as he asked, “How is it, do you have any speech to make after receiving this award?”

The Lin family’s car was parked outside of the temple.

Lu Jinwen pulled open the door of the passenger’s seat, shoving Lin Xuanji into the car as he bent over, putting on the seat belt for her. He proceeded to take the driver’s seat, stepping on the accelerator as the prestigious car sped away.

In the car, Lin Xuanji studied Lu Jinwen from head to toe doubtfully. He had become so strangely different today.

This footman had been silent all along, he never spoke since day one of arriving at the Lin family, after being brought back by her elder sister. But now, it seemed like he had changed. He had become so indifferent, callous, one may even call it arrogant.

Lu Jinwen looked sideways, only to see her studying him from head to toe. He smiled, asking, “You’ve fallen for me? Don’t worry, you can see all you want from now on, since I’m already yours.”

Seeing the playful look on her face, with those red, peachy lips, Lu Jinwen felt his blood rushing. He could hear a voice in his ears.

But Lu Jinwen remained composed from the outside, almost emotionless. He looked at her, letting out a chuckle. “I’m only going to say this once, you are mine so stay away from Jun Mosheng. If you dare do anything to provoke me, I won’t let the two of you off.”

He then turned his face, focusing on the roads as he drove. Holding the steering wheel, he sped up, slowed down, turned, the entire series of movements smooth and fluid.

He had his way of making this car that cost a few hundred thousand dollars look like it cost tens of millions.

Lin Xuanji’s heart thumped, she wasn’t sure whether it was because of the phrase ‘you are mine’ or because of his powerful aura.

The golden sun rays beamed down through the windows, surrounding him. He was in his prime at 25 years old and his suave ways simply made it hard for one to not feel attracted to him.

It was hard for one to not be attracted to good looking things and people, Lin Xuanji was no exception. She quickly averted her eyes, her face slightly red. Damn it, why was this man so dashing.

She had to admit, he was the most good looking person she had ever seen.

He was very different today, though his aura was strong but not too overpowering. He had this king-like aura that only one who had gone through the many vicissitudes in life would be able to have.

This aura of his wasn’t one that an 18 year old could easily take.

She took her phone out, calling her best friend.
