Chapter 1201: Mr Gu Comes
The room was silent and Lu Yeming continued looking at Tang Mo’er while she slept. It seemed she wasn’t having a good rest, her brows knitted even while she slept.
He suddenly heard a sound behind him. Someone pushed the door open. Lu Yeming averted his eyes, turning back to check who it was.
Jun Xiqing stepped inside.
“Why are you here?” he asked, sounding slightly displeased.
That made Jun Xiqing feel like she had invaded someone’s personal space and she wasn’t welcomed at all. But she didn’t feel uncomfortable about it at all. Holding a tray in her hands, she placed the freshly dried lime slices on the nightstand beside Tang Mo’er.
The smell of the limes instantly diffused and Tang Mo’er could smell it, moving her face a little closer and her brows unknitted as she slept well.
Seeing this, Jun Xiqing looked at Lu Yeming, raising her brows.
Lu Yeming gave her a glance, pursing his lips.
“I tasted a slice of it just now, it feels kind of off. Is it spoiled?” Jun Xiqing looked at the lime slices, feeling perplexed.
Almost immediately, Lu Yeming got up, walking over to take a slice of it, putting it into his mouth. In an instant, the sour taste of the lime filled his mouth and he furrowed his brows.
Puff.
Jun Xiqing covered her mouth, laughing happily. “Silly, I tricked you.”
Why was she so excited seeing him suffer? Lu Yeming stretched his hand out, grasping her slim wrist and gave it a tug.
With that, Jun Xiqing’s body fell into his arms. She lifted her head, giving him a provocative gaze. “West Duke, you’re flying into a rage just because you’re feeling humiliated?”
“You’re trying to seek attention again?” He ran his finger over her wrist.
Narcissist!
Jun Xiqing pushed him away forcibly. They could hear some vibration sounds, someone was calling.
Lu Yeming lowered his eyes to check. It was Tang Mo’er’s phone. A contact appeared on the phone screen—-Mr Gu.
Gu Mohan was calling.
Hmm... Jun Xiqing watched Lu Yeming. He remained calm and bent over, picking up the phone.
Walking over to the balcony, he picked up the call. “Hello.”
Gu Mohan went silent for two seconds when he heard Lu Yeming’s voice. “Your relationship with your sister is so good that... you can pick up her calls? Or let me guess, you’re still in your sister’s room when it’s so late?”
Gu Mohan had come.
He wore a custom-made suit and a black overcoat outside. The late autumn’s frost was on his shoulders and he exuded a dignified aura. He stepped inside, closing the room door.
Tang Mo’er was stunned, she was at a loss of what to do. Jumping off the hammock in an instant, she ran into a corner warily and stood far away from him.
Thankfully the lights were switched off in the room. She had no idea whether he could notice that she had aged.
She would rather he did not see her at all.
She wanted him to remember Tang Mo’er with the beautiful appearance, and not the aged her.
Gu Mohan stood by the door taking off his black leather gloves with elegant moves. His eyes were on Tang Mo’er’s face, though he couldn’t see it clearly, her eyes were just like luminous pearls in the dark, looking at him nervously and with wariness.
The corners of Gu Mohan’s lips raised, he opened his arms wide. “Mo’er, come over, let me hug you.”
He wanted to hug her.
He wanted a hug.
Tang Mo’er’s eyes watered, tears dewed her lashes, she appeared so pitiful.
Lowering her head, she ran towards the bathroom. She wanted to lock herself inside. But after taking just two steps, she noticed two long legs walking over with her peripheral vision. He was approaching her.
She wanted to speed up, right when she grabbed the doorknob, a muscular arm appeared and grasped her slim waist. Gu Mohan pulled lightly and she fell into his embrace.
Lowering his head, he buried his face in her hair and took a deep breath. “Ha, why are you running away?”
His tall build shook with mirth, she could feel it on her back. It felt so warm and charming.
Tang Mo’er struggled to get out of his arms but it was of no use. Her legs went weak and her body liquefied in his arms.
She missed him.
She really missed him so much.
“Let me hug you for awhile.”
Gu Mohan held her hand, their fingers interlocking before putting it on her tummy. It was at that moment that Tang Mo’er made the decision.
She wanted to keep the baby.
All the uncertainties, helplessness were nothing to her when that large palm was on her tummy. She could feel his impeccable strength, feel... his everlasting love.
She wanted to keep the baby.
As long as she was alive, she would give birth to this baby.
But she suddenly felt her body suspended in the air. Gu Mohan had lifted her up, walking back to place her on the hammock before he took off his shoes and joined her.
