Su Jian’an burst into laughter. “It’s an unusual excuse.”

“Of course, it’s my excuse.” Shen Yuechuan sat on the sofa and subconsciously showed a smile. “Jian’an, what about my wedding preparations with Yunyun?”

Su Jian’an looked at the smile on Shen Yuechuan’s lips and suddenly recalled something.

After Shen Yuechuan was hospitalized, she often came to see him with soups or dishes that she prepared personally.

For him, even Shen Yuechuan’s wedding with Xiao Yunyun was not as important as Xu Youning.

“Nothing.” Xiao Yunyun hummed for a short while and continued, “I made a small request, and my cousin agreed to it!”

Shen Yuechuan knew that Xiao Yunyun would not tell him the truth, so he did not probe any further.

He knew better than anyone about Xiao Yunyun’s “small request”. He was not surprised that Su Jian’an agreed to it.

For the rest of the day, Xiao Yunyun was in a good mood. No matter what Shen Yuechuan asked her to do, she agreed with a smile.

When Shen Yuechuan said that he wanted to go to the dining hall downstairs for dinner, Xiao Yunyun did not stop him and took him downstairs happily.

There was an animal corner in the hospital, where some non-aggressive animals were kept. Xiao Yunyun occasionally took some food to feed these small animals. She was in a good mood today, so she took a large bag of food downstairs and pulled Shen Yuechuan to feed them after dinner.

Although Shen Yuechuan’s condition had improved a little, he could not do whatever he wanted. He did not approach those small animals, and just looked at Xiao Yunyun from a distance.

Xiao Yunyun was particularly excited and fed the small animals patiently. She was very familiar with a Samoyed, and she could even chat with it.

Of course, it would not talk to her but continuously barked at her.

Xiao Yunyun was amused and laughed, but she did not forget Shen Yuechuan. She could not bear to leave Shen Yuechuan standing in the draught, so after a while, she finished feeding the dogs, came back to find Shen Yuechuan, took his hand and said, “Let’s go back.”

She looked at Shen Yuechuan in confusion. “Why did you give it away?”
