Chapter 65 - Love Rival?

As the group sat down and ordered their food while talking about the babies in Lin Xiaoxiao's stomach. The party did not seem to notice a woman in high heels wearing a form-fitting dress that emphasized her big breasts. Her long black hair was dolled up into a bun showing off her snow-white neck. This woman walked right up to Lin Xiaoxiao's table and stood there waiting to be noticed. One minute passed, one minute turned to two minutes then to three. Not being able to be patient any longer the girl finally parted her rosy red lips.

"Mr. and Mrs. Shen, President Shen it has been a long time." The woman's elegant voice floated over the table.

But even then no one seemed to turn her way as they continued to talk amongst themselves. The girl felt a little embarrassed but as she snuck a peek at Lin Xiaoxiao her face seemed to be turning slightly red? 

"Ahem..." It was only when she cleared her throat that Grandma Shen who was talking finally turned her head towards the girl. 

"What are you interrupting us for? Can't you see that we are talking?" Grandma Shen was never one to mince words and would always speak bluntly especially when she was not happy with someone.

"I do apologize, Mrs. Shen, I had just wanted to stop by and say high since I have not spoken to the Shen's in a while." The woman gave a slight bow as she apologized. 

"Who are you?" Grandma Shen asked with a serious expression.

"We have met a few times at some of the social gatherings. I am Su Lei." The girl once again gave a polite bow.

"Ah… the little girl from the Su family. How are your grandparents doing?" The Su family and the Shen family were on good terms. They have been friends for many years now. So once Grandma Shen heard the name Su her attitude towards Su Lei Changed.

"They are doing fine. They had been meaning to get into contact with Mr. and Mrs. Shen for some time now." Su Lei smiled all the while she kept taking side glances at Lin Xiaoxiao.

"Tell them to call any time we will be more than happy to have them over." Grandma Shen smiled. 

"I will. Umm… May I ask who this beautiful girl is?" Su Lei had finally mustered up her courage to ask who Lin Xiaoxiao was.

Grandma Shen's smile became even more profound as she stated: "This is my soon to be granddaughter in law, Qin Lily Xiaoxiao. Xiao'er is already pregnant with Xing'ers baby not just one but two! She really makes me proud!"

Su Lei's eyes dulled a bit but quickly perked back up as she thought of something. She walked over to Lin Xiaoxiao and held out her hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Qin. I hope we can be really good friends in the future and congratulations on becoming pregnant!"  

"Likewise and thank you." Lin Xiaoxiao smiled and held out her hand to shake with Su Lei. But once Su Lei held Lin Xiaoxiao's hand he couldn't help herself from caressing it?

Lin Xiaoxiao had a shiver crawl up her spine and not a good one at that this shiver was that of a complete and utter feeling of creepiness! She was hoping that Su Lei did that by accident! Because if she did not, she would need to rethink being friends with such a woman. Although she had Minmin who would say weird things at times Minmin had never tried to do such a thing with her. Just thinking about it kept sending shivers down Lin Xiaoxiao's spine.

But she was not the only one who had noticed something. Although he had been quiet this entire time, Shen Xing raised an eyebrow at this Su Lei since he noticed the quick glances the woman was giving to his baby girl! ' Love rival? ' He had to say at least it was not a man but still, he would never give his baby girl to anyone! But he could not act as of yet since he was not absolutely sure. But he did make sure to take note of this woman. When he got back to the office he would have Fang De look into this woman's background more.

"I hope the two of us can get together some time in the future.  I will not bother your meal any longer and will take my leave. It was nice meeting you all." Su Lei turned around and left without saying another word. Her cheeks red now that she had plucked up the courage of touching Lin Xiaoxiao's hand. ' I will get you to turn towards me one day Lily! ' Su Lei thought as a bit of clear liquid seemed to have leaked from the corner of her mouth. 

Watching the woman's departing back Lin Xiaoxiao only thought was: ' Why do all these weirdos come to me!? '
