Chapter 82 - Finding Out The Little One’s Genders

Lin Xiaoxiao ended up spending another two weeks in the hospital. She was able to leave a week ago but Shen Xing refused to let her leave until the doctors were hundred percent sure nothing would affect her in the future. Today was the day she would be getting released from the hospital. She had already made an appointment to see her doctor this very day so she could have the ultrasound done to see what gender her babies were going to be. Shen Xing said he could have one of the doctors here check but Lin Xiaoxiao said no because she wanted to be in a more comfortable place than in an intensive care unit to find out the gender of her babies. 

Although Lin Xiaoxiao was being released she was still confined to a wheelchair for one more week. Shen Xing took up the position of pushing her along as he walked out of the hospital. Being in a wheelchair reminded Lin Xiaoxiao of the first time Shen Xing and her met. Now she thought the situation back then was quite funny. Especially now that the two were to get married in a few weeks and already had twins on the way. 

"Xing being like this reminds me of when we first met. Well minus the whole you pushing a disabled person with all your strength making them fly in to a small fountain." Lin Xiaoxiao turned her head and gave Shen Xing a teasing smile. 

"Un! But remember it was you who copped a feel without my permission! But if it was not for that time I would not have taken notice of you." Shen Xing said as he leaned over and gave Lin Xiaoxiao a kiss on the lips.

"Humph! You were such a bastard then!" Shen Xing let out a laugh as he continued to push her along.

Lin Xiaoxiao's doctor's office was not far away from the hospital so it only took five minutes to arrive. The sudden appearance of many men in black suits clearing the way into the doctor's office caused a bit of a stir. But the doctor herself only gave a smile when she saw Lin Xiaoxiao coming in. But her brow furrowed when she saw her coming in, in a wheelchair.

"Miss Qin I haven't seen you in a few weeks and here you are in a wheelchair! You even missed your appointment!" This doctor's name was Yan Hanying.  She immediately took out a stethoscope and started listening to Lin Xiaoxiao's belly. This was the reason Lin Xiaoxiao wanted to come here. Doctor Yan was very caring and always prioritized the babies in her belly over her.

"Doctor Yan I got into a fight with a few bullets and lost..." Lin Xiaoxiao said jokingly.

"Yes, I know the hospital sent over your records. Luckily the twins are doing fine and are still just as strong as before. But you will need to take extra care from now on. The loss of blood might have still caused some unforeseen problems. But from what I can tell everything should be okay. Come, I already set up the ultrasound we can take a peek at the little ones and see what gender they are." Doctor Yan motioned for Shen Xing and Lin Xiaoxiao to follow. 

The three entered a small private room with a hospital bed. Shen Xing then carefully lifted up Lin Xiaoxiao out of her wheelchair and placed her gently on to the bed. Doctor Yan seeing such loving care from Shen Xing gave a nodding approval. It was rare for her to see such men in her patients' lives. So she was very happy to know that Lin Xiaoxiao had such a man. 

"Okay lift your shirt I'm going to spread a bit of gel on your belly then we will start." Doctor Yan put some medical gloves on as she got out a tube of ultrasound gel and applied it to Lin Xiaoxiao's stomach. Afterward, she smeared it evenly before getting the ultrasound machine ready.

Lin Xiaoxiao and Shen Xing had their eyes glued to the screen in front of them. Shen Xing held Lin Xiaoxiao's hand as they watched the images slowly form on the screen. Tears rolled down Lin Xiaoxiao's cheeks as she looked at the two little ones in her belly. A bright smile appeared on her face. These were her and Shen Xing's kids! Shen Xing was also smiling brightly as he gently pulled Lin Xiaoxiao into his embrace as he half sat on the bed. Seeing the two little ones on the screen filled his heart with joy. 

"Hmm… Yep, I'm am one hundred percent sure both of them are girls. Congratulations Miss Qin you will soon have two little princesses running around your house." Doctor Yan gave Lin Xiaoxiao and Shen Xing a smile. 

Lin Xiaoxiao's already smiling face became even wider! She will need to start preparing! She had all kinds of things she needed to buy and start preparing for. She then thought of something. The current place they were living in was really nice but the environment was not well suited for children. They had no room to go outside and play. She looked at Shen Xing who was looking at her and before she even got to ask he said: "You do not need to say anything I have already bought a new house in a great location. It is the perfect place to raise kids." 

Lin Xiaoxia looked at Shen Xing stunned. "How did you know what I was about to say?"

"I know your way of thinking. I was thinking the same thing. The current place is really nice but not suited for children. The place I bought is perfect. It can even accommodate your mother." Lin Xiaoxiao was stunned. How did she get such a perfect man!?
