Chapter 97 - Your Fairy Lily Is Right Here

Qin Mei and Lin Xiaoxiao stayed the night at the hospital looking after Minmin. The next morning Lin Xiaoxiao's sleep was disturbed by her phone ringing. She sleepily opened her eyes and struggled to look at her phone. Seeing that the call was from Little Bo She quickly answered it. 

" Lily! How's Minmin is she okay?" Little Bo's worried voice sounded from the other side of the phone.

"Ruru? I'm sorry I forgot to call and tell you that we had found Minmin. I'm guessing Xing called Brother in Law. Safety-wise she is fine now. But mentally she is not. It will take time for her to recover. Hows Aunty, has she woken up yet?" Lin Xiaoxiao did her best to straighten herself out as she held the phone between her ear and shoulder. 

"I hope Minmin can recover soon. And un... Mom did wake up and luckily we got the better of the two outcomes! Although she can not feel anything below her waist she can still lead a somewhat normal life. Lily, I have to thank you so much for everything you and Brother in Law have done. If not for the two of you, I have no idea what would have happened to my mother..." Little Bo's voice trailed off at the end. She really would not have known what to do. Thankfully this all happened at the time when she had a loving man at her side and a loving sister who cared for her. If it was before where it was just her mother and her, Little Bo knew her mother would have most likely have died.

"Were sisters so it's normal to help each other out. Plus, Aunty is like family to me there was no way we were going to let her suffer. Also, the one you should really be thanking is Brother in Law. Speaking of Brother in Law... Ruru… When did you start calling Xing, Brother in Law?" Lin Xiaoxiao said in a teasing manner.

"Well, we are all family now so I thought I should get used to it." Little Bo slightly blushed. All this was all new to her. But she liked it very much.

"I know I'm just joking. Ruru, tell Aunty that I will stop by once everything with Minmin is settled and tell her I'm sorry that I could not be there when she first woke up." Lin Xiaoxiao did feel bad for not being there when Bo Ling had woken up. But circumstances did not allow for it.

"She knows Lily. It was probably best to not have so many people there. After realizing she was still alive she cried non stop as she continued to apologize to me. Then she cried more when she found out I was now officially married. It was really a mess." Little Bo forced a laugh. She still felt like crying when she thought about what had happened when her mother had woken up.

"Alright then… Ruru I will visit when I can. It sucks that we are almost on opposite sides of the city right now but both are in a hospital. If we were at the same hospital I could have come visited right away. I will be staying here with Minmin until she is released. Which the doctors say will be in a few days. Okay, I will let you go Ruru. Call me if anything comes up or if you have any questions concerning... that..." Lin Xiaoxiao quickly hung up not giving Little Bo any time to say anything back.

On the other side of the city in a hospital hallway, Little Bo was staring at her phone with her face flushed red as she remembered what she had done with Shen Li. Shen Li had just walked out of Bo Ling's room and saw Little Bo face red. He hurriedly ran over to her and in a worried voice asked: "Ru'er is something wrong?"

Shen Li's voice brought Little Bo back to reality. " Ah! Yes!  I Mean no... Everything is fine... " Shen Li was somewhat confused but since Little Bo said everything was fine, he did not ask more. 

Back on Lin Xiaoxiao's side, she was currently sitting next to Little Bo's bed watching over her. Qin Mei had stayed up all night to allow Lin Xiaoxiao to sleep so now it was her turn to watch over Little Bo. 

A few hours had passed and Lin Xiaoxiao was currently giving Minmin a sponge bath. She had a damp washcloth and was cleaning Minmin's face when Minmin's eyes sprang open as she suddenly woke up screaming! "No! Stay away from me! Please stop hitting me! Wu... I'm sorry..."

Lin Xiaoxiao was freaked out at first but quickly wrapped her arms around Minmin holding her in her embrace. She spoke softly as she said: "Minmin it's okay! Your Fairy Lily is here. Your okay now. No one will ever be able to hurt you again. Your safe."   

Minmin's eyes focused as her gaze became clear. Feeling the warmth of the person's embrace and the familiar voice that she longed to hear. Minmin finally broke down as she cried out: "Fairy Lily! Fairy Lily! Wu… Wu... Fairy Lily!"

"Mhm! Your Fairy Lily is right here. No one can hurt you anymore." Tears rolled down Lin Xiaoxiao's face as she rubbed Minmin's back and let the Minmin cry as much as she wanted. Minmin's cries had woken Qin Mei who quickly came into the room to see the scene. She stood there for a few minutes watching as tears rolled down her cheeks as well.  After some time she left the room to notify the nurse. 

Lin Xiaoxiao was very happy that Minmin had finally woke up. This was the first step to start her road of recovery.
