Chapter 105 - Arriving At The Set

Noon came and Lin Xiaoxiao was getting ready to leave. Qin Mei had notified her that everything would be ready by two in the afternoon. Lin Xiaoxiao was always one to make sure she was early to the set. As she was heading towards the door she saw Qin Mei standing there and next to her was Minmin. "Little Min, are you coming with us?"

"Un! I want to see Big Sister act." Minmin said with a smile.

"Okay but make sure you listen to mom while we are there." Lin Xiaoxiao paused for a second as a thought came to mind. "Mom, is Little Bo coming?"

"Not this time. She still in the wheelchair and asked if she could hold off on work until she could walk again." Qin Mei explained.

Lin Xiaoxiao also thought this was a good idea. Since it would be hard for her to complete her duties when stuck in a wheelchair. With the three of them ready to go they all got into the black Hummer and set off. She, of course, had her bodyguards with her as well. The filming site was to be located in a small park that had a pound in it. It only took them about twenty minutes to arrive. When they did the film crew was still in the process of setting up.

When the Hummer stopped Lin Xiaoxiao got off first along with Qin Mei and Minmin. As soon as Minmin got out she went completely silent as she hid behind Qin Mei burying her face into her back. It was her first time leaving the house since the incident. She had been okay with the bodyguards and Shen Xing but it seemed she was still afraid of others that she did not know.

Lin Xiaoxiao smiled and reached out her hand saying "Little Min come here." 

Minmin poked her head out from behind Qin Mei and quickly trotted over to Lin Xiaoxiao and grabbed her hand. "Little Min do you trust your big sister?" 

"Un!" Minmin said instantly.

"Since you trust your big sister do not hide and walk side by side your big sister okay?" Lin Xiaoxiao gave Minmin a smile before ruffling her hair.

Lin Xiaoxiao's actions caused Minmin to giggle as she nodded her head. Qin Mei smiled as she saw how well Lin Xiaoxiao was able to coax Minmin into being more outgoing. Qin Mei knew that when Lin Xiaoxiao's children were born they would have an amazing mother. As they walked on to the set Lin Xiaoxiao greeted everyone. Minmin who was beside her did the same. 

Mr. Tang who was giving out directions saw Lin Xiaoxiao coming and quickly walked over to her. Behind him was Tang Yu. Seeing Tang Yu caused Lin Xiaoxiao to frown inwardly. She did have a feeling that Tang Yu would show up today. Even though she was mentally prepared for it she hoped the girl would not cause a scene as she did at the wedding. 

Mr. Tang smiled when he met up with Lin Xiaoxiao. "Mrs. Shen it's good to see you again and this is?"

"This is my little sister Minmin. She may look old but her current mental age is around five years old. She has what's called age regression due to a traumatic experience. I hope you do not mind that we brought her. She wanted to see me work and I was hoping maybe it might help her current state as well. Little Min greet Grandpa Tang." Lin Xiaoxiao explained.

"It's  nice to meet you, Grandpa Tang..." Minmin blushed as she hid behind Lin Xiaoxiao as she greeted Mr. Tang.

"Mmm… Very nice to meet you too sweety." Mr. Tang could not help but think he had seen this girl somewhere before. He looked at Lin Xiaoxiao and as if knowing what He wanted to ask Lin Xiaoxiao gave Mr. Tang a knowing nod. 

Mr. Tang did not say anything. He was a smart man. He did not want to say anything about the kidnapping incident in case it caused Minmin to regress even further. "Mr. Tang I will make sure she stays out of the way. My mother who is also my manager is here along with my bodyguards."

"Ah! It's fine. I will also have Yu'er help out as well." Mr. Tang turned around and looked at Tang Yu who had been quiet this entire time. "Yu'er I want you to help keep an eye on Mrs. Shens Little sister here. You heard Mrs. Shen's explanation so make sure nothing happens to her." 

"Don't worry Grandfather I will keep a good eye on her." Tang Yu saw this as a way to get closer to the one she loved. She had seen how good Lin Xiaoxiao was towards Minmin. So if she was able to form a friendship with Minmin then it would allow her to get closer to the one she loved. 

It was just that nothing ever goes as planned. When Tang Yu stepped forward she smiled and reached her hand out to say hello. Only to have Minmin make a face at her and run away to hide behind Qin Mei, saying: "Scary lady has bad thoughts." 

Hearing Minmin words caused Mr. Tang to laugh out loud. "Haha, She is indeed cute. You know what! Mrs. Shen can we also have your little sister in the commercial?" While Mr. Tang was smiling away. Tang Yu's face was black. But she had no words to retort! She indeed had bad thoughts!

On the other hand, Lin Xiaoxiao was stunned by Mr. Tang's request. But his idea was very good since the product was meant for both teens and women in their early twenties. "Let me ask." Lin Xiaoxia turned and walked over to Minmin as she said: "Little MIn do you want to act with big sister?"

"I can act with Big Sister!?" Minmin's eyes went wide with excitement.

"Un! You can! Do you want to?" 

"Un! I do, I do!" 

Mr. Tang Smile became even more profound. He also thought this would be a good way to help Minmin. Allowing her to still appear on the screen even if she could not become a pop idol again she could at least do acting in the future. That way she could still have some kind of career lined up for her when she was normal again. Lin Xiaoxiao also thought like this as well. Which is why she agreed to this. She was hoping it would be beneficial to Minmin.
